I called my Wal-mart and since this is an all day deal, it will be available at midnight tonight. I'm headed there after dinner.

According to the ad online, the DS Lite will be available online and in the store. I'm hoping to order online for site to store pickup. :)

I went back to the ad and this is what is says on page 2 of the ad (bottom of page 4 of ad scan) "Free $10 Target Gift Card offer valid on single, in-store transaction of $100 or more based on merchandise subtotal after all applicable discounts. Sales Tax, Target GiftCards, Target Visa Gift Cards, Target American Express Cards, prescripstions, clinic services, Target Mobile Solutions adn alcohol will not be included in determining merchandise subtotal. Not valid on previous purchases. Limit one Giftcard per qualifiying transaction, per guest. Terms and Conditions apply to GiftCards. If any portion of the qualifying purchase is returned, the refund value will be reduced by the prorated amount of the free GiftCard." So it sounds like you may not be able to break your purchases into multiple transactions while in a single checkout lane. But, it does sound like you could get multiple gift cards for items with gift cards if the subtotal is $100 or more.

About 4 years ago, two friends and I began shopping together. Once we are done shopping we have to pick up my ds from MIL, the first year as we are pulling out of the driveway some of our bags fall onto ds. Every year since, the first thing he says when we pick him up is that nothing had better fall on him. :) The second, is how do we manage to get so much stuff in our car.

Has anyone else seen air conditioners 75% off? I checked one of my local stores and they were still at 50%.

Front Royal, Va had marked toys 50% off today, including Lego's, however they have already been picked over a good bit. hth.

I voted significantly less due to being laid off in April and planning a trip to Florida in Spring 2010. Plus, I already have quite a bit done due to starting my shopping on December 26. Shelly

Below is an article posted recently regarding Circuit City's plans to liquidate their remaining stores. The article was found here. "Circuit City Stores Inc. says it has reached an agreement with liquidators to sell the merchandise in its 567 U.S. stores after failing to find a buyer or a refinancing deal. The second-biggest electronics retailer in the nation says in court papers it has appointed Great American Group LLC, Hudson Capital Partners LLC, SB Capital Group LLC and Tiger Capital Group LLC as liquidators. Calls to the Richmond, Va.-based company and the liquidators were not immediately returned. Circuit City filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Huennekens gave the company permission to liquidate if a buyout was not achieved. "

I went to the Winchester,VA North store and they have 3 aisles of 50-75% off toys. Found a few Lego sets for $10, a V-Smile for $8.74 and a fly pen for $20. Went to the health area and found two different Burts Bees sets for 50% off. Hoping to check the other Target later today. :) Shelly

Just sending a BIG THANKS to the posters who recommended checking the regular aisle of Burt's Bee products and the regular aisle for Electrosol . I found 3 of the Burts Bee wristlets and 1 overnight pack each about $3.24. With all the girls in my family, I can use these (plus all of the ones I bought at 50%) for gifts all year! Plus I stocked up on Electrosol and won't need to buy dishwasher tablets until late 2009. :) Thanks Again!

They fibbed at the Winchester North store, however Winchester North did confirm that the other Winchester Target went 75% as they had a large amount of stock left.

Just wanted to post that Winchester and Front Royal, VA are 75% off. I haven't been there yet, but will be taking an early lunch today. :) They each said that they had been that way since Saturday.

I received a 10 off 25, plus I had a 10 JCPenney rewards certificate. I was able to use both on a purchase of $29.99 (pretax) and only had to pay a little over $10. :) However, at first the sales clerk and even the manager did not know how to use both together, even though the rewards said that it could be used with other offers. They both walked through the transaction together and it worked. Hope this helps someone else.

This was my first year for Price adjusting, so I made sure to get the email. Went to Target to price adjust the two items that I had purchase and was told that they were not price adjusting for the 2-day ad. I replied that I had an email in my car that said that they would price adjust and would go get it for her. She sighed and said OK and finished the transaction without another word. My girlfriends were amazed. :)

My two friends and I left the house at 4 am and returned at 3 pm. Our trip went as follows: Wal-Mart - a newer Super Wal-Mart, everything well organized, out by 5:30 K-Mart & Bath & Body Works - only one other person at BBW and was able to get 2 VIP bags; K-mart - friend was able to go straight to electronics for 2 camcorders - left at 6:30 Target - the maps were very helpful, found most everything, some things sold out Game Stop Play N Trade Toys R Us - lines wrapped around store to pay, chose not to stand in line for a pogo stick (this will save me in broken bones :) ) Kohls - found most everything, checkout line moved quickly On to the mall by 9:30 - stopped by Sears, Radio Shack, VS, Hollister, Aeropostle, JC Penney, Shenk & Tittle Lunch @ Olive Garden Wal-Mart for leisurely shopping then home. We were able to get everything on our lists and had a great time. Each year we are able to perfect our system a little bit more. Shelly

I'm not sure if this is considered part of the secret sale or not, however in the Wal-Mart circular that was in the newpaper today, it mentioned checking online on Thanksgiving for special deals. But it didn't say what those deals would be.

Wanted to add a few items that will be on sale. I spoke with the manager at my local store, the wallflowers will once again be $5 each and the Pleasures line will be deeply discounted. They are only expecting about 40 of the bags to come in. Hope this helps someone. :) Shelly
