Lens Cleaner Wipes (20ct) - $1.08 (ok. no coupon for this, but still a GREAT deal)

and this is just the stuff i bought. there was also burt's bee's products clearanced to great prices, cheerios, fruitloops, campbell's soups, etc etc etc. tons of stuff this weekend. it was so hard to behave myself. i just lucked out that everything i bought was on my list. and because i knew i was saving so much, i splurged and got Samira (dd) a huge bottle of bubbles (bigger than a milk jug!) oh - and that was clearanced to, at $3.98 (originally 9.99)

Samira and I had a good morning. lol

Are the coupons on the products or on the net somewhere?

  2. Anyone have or can find me a coupon promotional code for movietickets.com? I'm wanting to purchase the hannah montana best of both worlds concert in 3D tickets for my two girls. I THOUGHT since it was playing at a movie theater...the tickets would be the price of movie tickets. WRONG. Their 15.00 each at the closest theater to us. So if you can find or have any coupon codes for movietickets.com or for AMC theaters...can you help me out? I'd love to wrap these up for them for Christmas too since we weren't able to score real concert tickets.

I actually asked this same question a week ago, I thought it was going to be the same price as a movie too. My kids decide they didn't want to go, it will probably be in video by the summer anyway LOL

  3. I remember reading this in our local newspaper last week.

Apparently the cost of roses have gone up, and vendors are making little to no profit on them. In addition because of supply and demand the distributors of the roses are charging vendors more, and the vendors can't raise the prices just for one holiday without losing credibility. So it might be that they just can't afford to ignore the rising costs of gas..

    It does stink though.

Roses and other flowers always go up in price the beginning of February since the growers know there is going to be a big demand for it. I have a problem that they are not making money on it and can't raise their prices for one holiday, they always have in the past. I use to own a florist and we had to raise the prices to cover our cost. We use to get charged almost $1.50 a rose from a wholesaler, we eventually went to the growers and bought our flowers but they still would charge .75 cents per rose versus .25 they had charged just weeks before. I think most people expect the prices to be higher around V-day, even the roses at Costco are higher. They should either raise their price to include the cost increase or raise their shipping price. Sometimes, itemizing everything just turns people off.

Even FedEx and UPS has raised their fuel charge, have you all noticed the prices of food have been creeping up? I really noticed it at our Costco, about $2 for alot of items. BTW, I was a florist over 15 years ago so that was the prices then, its probably more now LOL

  4. I do not think you will find the tickets cheaper. They are $15.00 everywhere around the country and I know locally we had some regal buy one get one passes and it said right on them excludes special engagements which of course the Best of Both worlds movie is.

That is probably so, I know Discover was doing a B1G1 free promo but it ended at the end of the year. I thought it would be the same price as a movie but was sadly mistaken when I went online to look it up. Actually disappointed in that fact, it is afterall just a video of a concert. Whats funny, it will probably be put out in DVD by next summer LOL

  5. can anyone tell me what the step 2 wagon box looks like? I saw some near the toddler bikes, but I didn't see any clearance tags on them. I'm wondering if they are the ones that are on sale.

Its a big white box with Step2 on it with a pic of the wagon. Ours was back on an endcap near sporting goods, abit down from the wall of bikes. I scanned them today, and they were $14.98. I didn't buy one since we don't have little kids but very tempted to buy it as a garden wagon but we have the similar one that is green from when my kids were smaller (alot smaller) BTW there was a sign that said $44, which is why I think no one knows about them. The clearance sticker said $29.xx

  6. My nephew does not have a winter coat , being on an extremely fixed income, I need to find a good deal - he's 10 years old and wears a 16 in boys pants and I guess an extra large in boys shirts - and he is getting to that age where he notices what other kids are wearing. Anyone know where I might find a decent variety in the $30 price range? He of course will come along with me. thanks!

Our Target had a bunch of boys jackets 75% off and there were some at 50% too

  7. May I just quickly post OT here that I LOVE Montana and want to go back SO badly!!! I only was there for a week as a teenager but fell in love with your "big sky;" it is such a beautiful change from this mid-atlantic landscape!!

I grew up in Virginia until I was 15 when we moved here so I really know what you are saying about the different landscapes. I do miss the falls on the east coast though!

  8. This board is so interesting to me for more than just deals. I really enjoy reading about everyone else's experiences. I think if the Target upper management sees it they ought to use it for national training information! I have to say I am pleased to report that in 8 years of frequent shopping there, our Target never ever gives me a hard time about anything. They scan every coupon I have and go out of their way to get it all right, even when some of them don't come up right away. If an item doesn't come up (like yesterday with a non-clearance box of toothpaste!) they will often just scan a random $.98 item bar code they keep at the register instead to give you a good price, or else ask you what you recall the price to be and enter that. If anything, they all seem to be eager to HELP you find deals, not stop you from getting them. The managers are all always in a happy chatty mood as they zip around the store checking on things. And I in turn give them just about all my business for nearly everything! I honestly have never seen a disgruntled customer there in all these years. Our Wallyworld on the other hand, well don't even get me started! :)

I feel that exact way about ours, its a clean, friendly environment that I enjoy entering. The personnel are friendly and always helpful. I am with you on Walmart, the atmosphere is so different there. I do shop there since our Walmart is a Super one whereas our Target is just a regular one (even though I take those surveys and ask for them to Supersize it LOL). I haven't had too many bad experiences shopping (except Kmart yuck) but there is such a difference in the two stores in our area.

  9. Just a suggestion. I was going to buy a Dyson and did some research. I found that the Bissell Velocity was also dual cyclonic like the Dyson. The Bissell only cost me about 100$ with discounts from Linens and Things. Here is the link for the Bissell http://www.bissell.com/Products/c/UprightVacuum/p/Velocity/product.aspx

You can decide for yourself. I have a dog 2 cats and kids. I was sooo disgusted to see what was picked up by this machine. I sweep the floors atleast daily and there was still this much junk Yuk

Was this the Velocity Target just reduced? I hope not, I was hoping it would go down and missed it at 50% or is this a step up?

  10. A little hint I learned on here. Target's clearance signs always say 'up to (enter percentage off here).' It is in small lettering and if you don't sit and read the whole sign you'd miss it. Somebody on here pointed that out once. So anyways, it stinks but that's how they suck you in.

Also, people pick up items from one clearance rack and just put it away somewhere else. Personally, our Target is one of the better ones, they are usually right on when marking down items and it has a sticker. Once in a blue moon, you will scan something and its bumped to the next % off. If you scan something and its 30% but on the 75% off rack, most likely it was misplaced by a customer. I find things misplaced all over the store, I know I am guilty of that, where I decide not to buy something and instead of going all the way back to that area, I leave it on an endcap (don't do it often but I have done it). I do try not to leave it on a clearance one if it isn't clearanced though.

BTW on PB episode, Walmart sells Jif in two packs, my husband eats 2 Pb&J's everyday, so yes we go through alot of PB. They didn't want to sell you because of the deal you were getting, I am not sure why some employees think that the company is losing money, they are reimbursed for the coupon plus I think some extra cents, add that by a half million people and they are making money. I ran into that problem with cold medicine, I had some coupons that were expiring so I wanted to buy three (this was at Walmart) and they couldn't sell me the three??? The cashier just did two and than anothe order for the third but I was shocked, than she explained why. Wow, was I ever out of touch, would never have guessed it.

  11. That is the plan. We are having it catered, but it will cost $157.25 just for tea and then the same amount for lemondae. That is ridiculous!

I am not sure what size you are looking for but our Target had them for $21, I think it said 5 gallons, they looked good size. You definitely could have jugs of tea and lemonade under the table to refill them. I know you can rent drink dispensers from rental party supplies (which may look abit more dressy).

  12. You have to find the barcode on the BOTTOM of the box. There is an activation bar code on the back of the box that the cashier has to scan to activate. (If you try to scan that one, it will say item not found.)

The albums seem to be hard to find (for me anyway) at 1/2 off. I think they are more popular. And yes, to someone who does a lot of digital photography on Shutterfly, these are a very good deal because the shipping is included free as well. I'm passing on the mug, keychain and calendar until 75% off. But, I grabbed the photo albums at 1/2 price. My sister and I do all our pics off Shutterfly and those albums are very nice.

I looked for these, are they in Electronics? I looked all over in other places too but either missing them or we don't have them.....Missed out on the Digital frames that were $44.xx, I looked them up and none in store.

  13. I have one of the Cuisinart ICE-20 1-1/2-Quart Automatic Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt, and Sorbet Maker, White only mine is RED. Got it several years ago and use it like CRAZY!! All kinds of healthy (and not healthy) creations. Kids can use it, cleans easily, they can do their own Mix Ins or whatever.

I strongly recommend finding one of theBen and Jerry's Ice Cream REcipe Books. They really DO give you their recipes. Sorry for typos, having finger probs today.

    Anyway, well worth the price.

Do you have to add rock salt etc to it?

  14. Okay, LOL! Look at us. We don't even consider full priced merchandise anymore! GB has been on the sales floor for about a week, and we are already asking this question! I was actually wondering how long it would take before we moved to this topic.

I checked, and it looks like Valentines went 90% on the 21st and GB went 75% on the 22nd. Hope that helps! Heck, we don't even have Valentines Day stuff out yet! I am fairly surprised that they haven't gotten it on the sales floor by now. Walmart and all the drug stores do.

I don't really look at much unless its on sale or clearance....unless its cheap LOL

  15. Yes. We took it to get the oil changed. They told us to leave the keys in the ignition. So we did and we left. It was around Memorial Day so we didn't want to wait. My husband went to pick up the car and they told him that he had already picked it up....uh, excuse me! So they figured out that before it ever got the oil changed somebody had taken it. It was a Honda Civic and those cars are used a lot for tricking out and stuff like that. Anyways, they found it 2 days later at an apartment complex. It aws parked next to Honda Civic just like it. The police said it was close to be stripped. The people had robbed a bunch of houses with it so there was all sorts if crap in it. My husbands golf clubs were in it and they were gone. WM said it wasn't there fault and we fought for a while but gave up. The one thing we got a kick out of was that it hardly had any gas and the thieves filled it up. It was nice to drive away with a full tank of gas...suckers!

Oh man, that sucks. Did it have damage or just a full tank of gas? LOL
