  1. passed this on to my girlfriend...maybe if i get her to shop online it'll save us a trip to Victorias Secret. She's been talking about their semi-annual sale on a daily basis.
  2. I bought the Dora the Explorer TV/DVD combo set for $99 on BF at Walmart and the DVD player doesn't work. Really ticks me off as I want another one but there aren't any in stock so I have to sit around and wait for them to get one in stock.
  3. I have a linksys and it's great with my dsl connection...only problem with mine is, i'm not sure if it's the router's problem or perhaps settings that i can change but...i'm running two wireless laptops off of it and if both computers are downloading something they both only go at about 25% of the total speed. I would assume that it should go 50/50 but instead it goes 25/25 and the other 50 is off somewhere in wireless land.
  4. I don't know if they're open on Christmas or not...on the bottom right corner of the front page it says "Sale prices valid December 25 - 31, 2005"
  5. I like to keep our's at 68 all of the time, girlfriend likes to keep our's at 72 all of the time. It's a war that neither of us will ever win. Right now it's about 33 here in PA
  6. Yeah, I think I should have posted it in the offline deals...
  7. I believe they are opening at 8 AM but i'm not 100% sure.

  9. I've looked around and don't think that there are any new ones. I bought an item for $185 on the 19th...sure would have been nice to have that 10% off one.
  10. Same here in South Central PA, just one place that i've never heard of before.
  11. I have used the $5 off on items that are on sale for $24.99 as long as the normal price is greater than $24.99.
  12. Please excuse my ignorance but I never knew that there were brand name trees and such.
  13. My brother, sister and I have the same mystery! It was only one year though, Santa came on Christmas Eve and gave us each a present early. My father passed away without revealing the secret and my mother simply responds with "Must have been the real Santa." whenever we ask her. I guess it's one of those things that will forever remain a mystery...unless it was the real Santa.
  14. I'm interested in hearing about everyone's little christmas traditions. One that my mother always did with me, that i'm now continuing with my 2 1/2 year old daughter, is a new pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve. It was a small little tradition that I always liked. Just something about a fresh new pair of pajamas to wake up on Christmas morning in always put a smile on my face. So this year she's getting a pair of Dora the Explorer pajamas with some slippers. What are your more uncommon Christmas Traditions?
  15. My best deal was the WM laptop form $378 and the TRU VideoNow for $14. Great deals.

  18. any chance of getting a scan of the flier?
  19. My fourth grade teacher told our entire class because she felt we were too old to belive in santa. I know my mother and apparently half of the class's mothers called in and reamed her a new bottom.
  20. WOW THANKS, i've been looking for one of those locally but they're all sold out everywhere. Thanks!
  21. Well la-de-da...I guess we don't know any better and look silly because we're not high end bag collectors like yourself. Paying several hundred dollars for a few shreds of fabric sewn together that just so happen to form a flexible container with a single opening is what I would consider "silly."
  22. We didn't have to go into any back rooms at all, just walking up and down 7th and 8th street there were stands setup at every corner. We got some great deals by stopping, looking at the stands and looking interested...then walking away and let the stand seller name a price. With the luggage he origionally wanted $90 but just by walking away he kept yelling lower and lower prices and we ended up getting it for $55. It was only our second time in New York and we loved it. Can't wait to go back again.
  23. My girlfriend was completely obsessed with owning a LV bag a few months ago. Then we took a weekend trip to New York with our daughter to see The Wiggles Live and we just happened to run into about 50 stands selling knockoffs. She came home with a knockoff LV purse, LV wallet, and LV luggage bag...all for under $150. Now that's a deal compared to spending $5000 on the authentic ones that look just the same.
