  1. I am looking for someplace either online (that I can receive by Friday 4/28/06) or a B & M to purchase wallpaper and/or border for my kitchen. This project just came up and we are not staying in our house much longer so I am looking for something affordable. Any suggestions?

Everyone said I was hard to buy for because I am 8 months pregnant but I think they did a great job. I can't wait to go buy myself some new clothes after I have the baby. My mom already said that she will watch both my kids (both will be under 2) so that I can go shopping sometime after I have had the baby and my weight stablizes. That is a great gift in itself!!

  3. Our daughter was 5 months last year and will be 17 months this year for Christmas. Last year her stocking had a new set of bibs, socks, wipes, board book, rubber ducky, onsies and a few other things that I can't remember. This year Santa is putting more socks, a small purse, more bath toys, a dora ball, bob the builder watch (she loves bob) and a 2nd christmas hallmark ornament.
  4. Just got my pictures back yesterday of my daughter. My mom took her to JCPenney portrait studio on a Thursday, and she had the first appointment of the day so she didn't have to wait. They were the best pictures that we have ever had taken of my daughter. Mom had a coupon for a free sitting fee, free 8 x 10 and each sheet for $3.99. We got 14 sheets and Christmas cards.
  5. Last year, my family (my mom, my sisters and I) purchased much needed items for a single mother whose husband had left her and her 2 children for Christmas. We left them on her front porch shortly before we knew she would be home from work. She questioned us at a New Years Eve party that was at my parents house, saying that someone had done this and that she thought it may be us because all of the sizes we correct and the items were things that they needed and the kids had requested and she thought that we were the only ones that would know this information. I think that we did an excellent job convincing her that it wasn't us. By the time that she left, she was totally puzzled by who could have done this. We enjoyed leaving the "magic" in the holiday, as we didn't want any recognition for it but just wanted to help someone in need due to all of the wonderful blessings that we have in our lives.
  6. I haven't even started. With a 16 month old to chase and we have been working to get the new baby room done for the baby due 2/7 I just haven't had time for that yet. I am guessing that it will be another week or so before I do all of my decorations except for the tree and I would guess that it won't get done for about 2 weeks!
  7. I haven't wrapped a thing yet. I did set up a table in the basement last night, went through some bags and made a list of what I have bought and what I need to get yet but that is it. Hopefully I will be able to do some wrapping this weekend. I still have to finish getting the baby room ready for our baby that is due on Feb. 7 also. It is a work in process right now.
  8. Even though you did not have it listed, I would definately have to say Kohl's. I left when I saw the line wrapped all of the way around the building. A lady in the middle told me she had already been in line over an hour and fifteen minutes.
  9. All at B&M:

Wal-Mart - Both Little People sets, Care Bear and Cabbage Patch Babies, price matched the Candy Land game from Target and picked up socks for the kids.

Kohls - Gift Certificates, hooded towels for kids, jewelry box, baby outfit.

Old Navy - 2 shirts in a size 2T and a pair of cordoroy pants for my sister.

Walgreens - Tide, lip gloss, candy bars.

Value City - Stocking for daughter and a few stocking stuffers.

Bath & Body Works - 7 wallflower refills for $5 each and a free candle with $35. purchase.

Toys R Us - Pogo Stick, large red spiderman playground ball, potty chair, bath toys, another baby outfit and a set of carters bibs.

Lane Bryant - PJ's for my sister.

Sears - 2 pairs of shoes for my daughter, 2 gift certificates and 2 tools for my dad.

Famous Barr - Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker gift pack and a pair of shoes for me (from Grandma for Christmas).

    Hallmark store - 3 ornaments.

Dollar Tree - Blackhawks book and numerous stocking stuffers.

I know I went several other places and bought quite a bit more but I can't seem to remember them all.

We shopped from 4:00a.m. until 8:00p.m. when I had to give up. I am pregnant and my body just couldn't handle any more. I didn't make it to Victoias Secret or Target and I was really disappointed.
