I guess I have been nice. My husband just bought me a new Tahoe and he still wants to know what I want for my birthday and Christmas. I was expecting the Tahoe to be my gifts for the next 5 years.:)

I know I do. But that is why I spend BF shopping for the best deals. If I did not research weeks prior to BF for the best price, my boys would not get near what they do. But they are worth it. I am just glad I can do what I do for them. I try to set a limit but I alway go over. But when my money is gone, that is it. I will not charge any of my Christmas. I just work extra hard prior to BF.

I go thru all the ads and decide which store has what I want most and then go by store opening times.
I write down each store in the order I plan to hit them and list everything there that I want to buy- including the price. I also take the ads with the items circled so if I have to ask someone a question about it- I have the ad to reference. I normally have it all stapled together and in my bag.
This is exactly how I do my "organization". I guess great minds think alike.:)
I do carry my purse, but it only holds my ads. I put my debit card and cash in the inside pocket of my jacket. So if someone decides that they need my purse, they will be surprised to only find my ads.

I was out the door by 3:00 last year. I drive about 35 minutes to a larger town. This year with WM opening earlier, I will have to be up and gone earlier. Oh well, I love BF.

I usually wrapp all of mine. After spending all of that money, I can't afford to pay to have them wrapped.

I husband HATES to go shopping. But he will stay home with the kids. Plus if I am alone, he doesn't know what I spend. Not that he would care. This is the one day I have to myself. I and take complete advantage of it. Out by 3 am and not home til late.

I get a paper at home and then I buy one in the town that I go shopping in. It is the same paper but they don't put all of the ads in the surrounding towns delivered papers.

My sister and I leave at around 5:00a.m. In the last 10 years, the earliest that we have ever been home was around 4p.m. The latest was midnight. Typically it is between 8-9p.m. I will be 7 months pregnant this year so I doubt that I will be able to make it as long this year. With both always try to get either all of our shopping done or at least the biggest part of it. Usually we take snacks along and only eat 1 meal. It is a tradition to go to the Olive Garden and eat around 3p.m. They are usually dead at that time and we are starved and eat way to much. We re-group, go through our ads and decide where else we need to go and what is still on our lists to buy. Our feet are usually killing us by this time.
I was beginning to think I was the only cray person on this board. I leave around 3 am and drive 45 minutes. But I usually don't get home until 6 pm at the very earliest. It has been midnight before. I this is the one day I shop as long as I want and not be bothered by hubby. He knows he is getting his monies worth on this day. Not I don't have to worry about my boys on that day. Mom's Day:gd_purple I completely take advantage of it.

My local WM would not price match during the blitz times. They would only pm the weekend ads. I wished they all had the same policy. But I guess is depends on the store management. And our employees and management are not friendly at all.

My BF peeve is getting all pumped up for the BF and then finding out that the deals are not that great. Plus the rude inconsiderate people that take things out of your buggy because they can't find it.

No Credit card here. I use my debit card and cash. The only problem with my debit card is that my bank has a daily limit on it. So leaves the rest to cash. Checks take way too long on this day.

I usually go with my mom. My new SIL went with us last year, but she slowed us way down. We won't make that mistake again. Mom and I are a good team. It is our one day of the year that is totally just us. I don't have to compete with my kids for her attention. lol
