  1. I'm newly married and my mil and fil have everything! I swear. They're not exactly hard off money-wise either so if they want something they just buy it. My husband and I just completed a round trip move from VA to FL back to VA and now we're kind of broke. So, any suggestions on what to get a couple who has everything? I don't think they really have any hobbies - unless going out drinking counts heh. They don't need any electronics like digital picture frames, already have them. My DH suggested gift cards to go out to eat and the movies but after talking to my mil and her saying she thought gift cards are impersonal I'm back at square one. We did a Harry and David gift basket we put together one year. Another it was a bunch of movies and a chinese tea set which I've never seen her use. I need help! Please?
  2. Yep! Personally though I didn't feel like their sales were much better then what you would find any other time of the year though.
  3. I am almost positive no.. but I could be totally wrong! I don't think I remember any places like American Eagle or Hollister doing sales really. Anyone else know for certain?
  4. I picked up the Pumpkin and Vanilla Spiced Rum. Both yum! Next time.. Peppermint!
  5. I used to live smack dab in the middle of everything. But we've moved a little further away so this year I'll have to drive about 50 miles to get to that same area. Where we're able to hit the mall, target, wal-mart, sams club, bbb, lowes and home depot, etc. all within three minutes of each other.
  6. I don't have an Ace hardware near me, but woo! I can't wait for more ads to start rolling in!
  7. Both! But I think only the white survived our chewing cat last year.
  8. Last year it was Sears, Home Depot, Target, then the mall. This year it all depends on the ads. I want a huge tv!
  9. Usually fake but last year our dog decided the tree branches were nice removable snacks. And our cat decided to test some of her nine lives on eating through three different light strings. So this year it'll be real until I can snag a fake prelit one after Christmas for dirt cheap.
  10. What stores are normally open on Thanksgiving besides K-Mart?
  11. Wow, and I thought we were out late last year! My husband and I did our first BF together last year AND hosted the whole family for Thanksgiving, so we got no sleep whatsoever. We were up at about three and home by ten. Slept for a while then went back out to browse some and see if we missed anything. At least we got 99% of our shopping done that morning! I love it, but I don't know if I'll be able to drag my hubby out again this year.
  12. I know some people are worried about items selling out before you get there but has anyone thought of buying the item anytime earlier in the week and just going back anytime during their sale and getting a price adjustment? They do that for their regular sales within two weeks of buying the item and last year I bought two items that I knew would be on sale on BF and just went back to customer service and got the difference between the regular price and the sale price back. It's probably what I'll do again this year to avoid the rush. And if you get a really moody employee who lies and says they can't do that you can just return the item right there and purchase it again. :) Just my little tip!
