The glade candles were pumpkin pie and apple cinnamon... at least at my store those were the two that were clearanced. The apple pie ones had a red cover on top... so not sure if that makes a difference or not.

mom-99, I switched 2 of them out, one, we found the restaurant and it was too "bar-sy" for us... so I called right away and had a credit of $25... but you cant use a code when you do the GC. I had no problems either time exchanging ours. Fulkerson... thats a cheap price for a buffet! I would have thought $35 for a party of 3 would have been easy! Our chinese buffets are $8.95 an adult for lunch and $11.95 for lunch.. they are huge though. I hope you get to use it! Normally as long as you follow the fine print, they are great to deal with, IMHO... Steph

Fulkerson, did you know ahead of time you had to spend $35 and did you know the prices? Just curious because whenever it has stated $35, the restaurants we have gone to stuck by it. One time I spent $34.05 at a restaurant and had to buy an ice cream cone to push it over $35 for them to take it. DAP, I have a friend who lives in Orlando and works for Disney, so she knew most of the restaurants we picked... some were just a shot in the dark but worth a shot... some were $25 off $25... I have also read online reviews of restaurants too when using them out of state. I think the website www.chowhounds.com will give you info too if you ask. They have forums for different cities.

We have been using them since 2001 I think... or early 2002. We dont have many restaurants around here that take it (there is a great Indian place though)... there were some awesome restaurants but they no longer do it. But I have never once had a problem using one. We used several in FL when we were on vacation, used a few on our trip to NYC and used a bunch when we drove from CT to FL (we had planned stops along the way). Never once did I get turned down. Just make sure you read the fine print on some... some say you have to spend $50, some $35... they all vary!

I use google checkout for my online business. First, the orders are submitted right when you pay. I know mine come right through to my email. Unless there is a problem with your address verifcation, your orders are processed, authorized and charged in a matter of minutes with the full email going to the seller right then and there. I have processed so far in Dec $3261 in payments with no hitches (well okay 1, the lady tried to use a fraudulent CC that google blocked her payment). And we do have to pay a % of the transaction fee to Google but they extended their "fee free" until the end of 2007... so for my $3261, I saved over $100 in paypal fees!

I was told the same thing about the gift sets. I wanted some Brut cologne sets for DH and she said they are not allowed to go to 75% off on ANY cosmetic purchase.

I hit Target this am too! I got the Method dishsoap (peppermint, cranberry and pear) for 62 cents, and the all purpose counter cleaner for 62 cents and the plug ins for $1.99. Those and the glade candles were on an endcap but no sign of clearance or sale. Most people didnt even go to that end of the store. I got my MIL lots of wreaths for crafts she wanted. I got those dish sets (set of 16) for $2.50. Oh yeah, I got a Polly Pocket for $1.24 since she was a snowflake one and I got those playground balls 2pk for $1.25... we live on a river so the kids do lose lots of balls over the fence and into the river Steph

Just called both Targets near me in CT and they are 75% off too! Thanks for the tips on the cleaning products, febreeze and glade candles! Those are on my list!

I bought tons of bath sets for gifts! I had returned some the day before at 50% off and said if its meant to be... I will get them for 75% off... guess I felt guilty spending so much for NEXT Christmas already! SO I got the $8.87 bath sets for $2.20 and $12.92 bath sets for $3.20. I got lots of kid ones for 74 cents so I could save them for bday presents through the year. Gift wrap for 74 cents, icicles for like 10 cents. I thankfully have 5 WM within 20 minutes of me in any direction I travel. So hopefully I can get more today! I only bought 7 bathsets (didnt like the other scent they had left)... but I want more! Thankfully we have this big storage cabinet in the basement all this stuff goes in!

As for TRU, yes, I went to return 2 defective toys on Thursday and the lady in front of me had a cart of returns (mostly baby type toys, but at least 10-12 things) and only had the receipt for 2 of them... they would not do it! I know we have WM and Target within 1/4 of a mile from them, they probably get a lot of returns from ppl who buy elsewhere and return at TRU because they are more expensive.

I need cologne sets for hubby! They had a lot left at 50% off so hoping they have at least a few left at 75% off... WM didnt have any brut sets!

I have done this a few times. I bought my dd a Christmas dress full price... kept the receipt in my bag... the next day it went it went to 30% off... so I bought it at the sale price and returned with my full price receipt. Sorry but I am saving a buck (in this case $6) or two, so be it!

I dont know how much will be left at Target when they go to 75% off so I went to WM to get the bath sets and I scored! I got tons of kid ones (for kids bday parties) for 70 cents, then I got bigger ones for $2.20 and the biggest ones they had were $3.20. I got the lighted candy canes for our yard for 53 cents. I wish I could find these deals at Target! Oh yeah, character gift wrap for 74 cents! Thankfully, we have the storage space for them!

And of course, they were all out. I got a raincheck good til 2/07 for $44.88 but boy, if I can find it for $14.98 I would be thrilled!

Looked at my Target today in CT and they were 50% off but they had 5+ aisles PACKED full of stuff. I resisted because I knew they would go to 75% off soon. I did get a christmas dinnerware set for 4 for only $2.74... that was marked 75% off early. I got a cosmetic gift bag for myself for 50% off but they had tons so if it does go to 75% off tomorrow, I will return and rebuy another on the shelves. I also wanted to get a bunch of kid bath sets since they had well over 100 of these but I figured they would still be left at 75% off. Now... the Polly Pockets! I was excited because they were good sales! Thats all my daughter wants so if they go a bit cheaper I will stock up for her bday in April and next Christmas. The blue box toys, my son got a cop dress up set for $1.24! I like Target better than WM's sale stuff!

Thank you SOO SOO much DQL! I wasnt going to get a camera... could use one but the money can always go elsewhere...bills bills bills... but I did great for Christmas budget. And this can also be a business expense as hubby is a contractor and can use it to take pics of finished projects... so I can justify it that way I guess I am excited. I printed out the flyer and hopefully if OD doesnt have any, I can use it at WM or even Sears if Sears has it... would be nice to get more $ off due to their 10% price difference! Off to go camera shopping! Just called my local OD and they have at least 20 in stock! Now... I still hope sears has it too because it will be even cheaper!

Does Sears have it bundled like this deal? But I am trying to figure out if this is on a sale flyer or just advertised in store... then Sears or WM wouldnt pricematch

My Walmart has this bundle for $197 right now in stock... but I know I would need the flyer from Office Depot (havent even looked if they have it or not)... is this on a flyer or just an in store thing? Just in case Office Depot doesnt have it, I could use the flyer and get it on sale at WM

I bought those kids bath sets too! I have 4 kids in elementary school so at least 14-15 parties through the year... so I stock up for gifts!

I ordered after thanksgiving with the $20 off $60 Gobble code... I got ... or should say ORDERED 10 pairs of PJ pals at $3.71 each with the discount. 4 pairs are backordered until January...I got 4 pairs in and 2 are no longer available! I did get the personalized Ariel robe for only $9.71! And the personalized fleece blanket was only $7 or so. Their prices were cheaper then and the discount better! Then they raised them back up right after that sale.

I got better deals when I ordered over the weekend, I got the PJ pals for $4.99 and had the $20 off $60... which is 33% off. They raised their prices on everything I bought this weekend! The mini princess dolls were $11.99 and the Ariel stylin head was $12.99. Stinks they had to go and up the prices! Steph
