Those who cant use the $5 off $25... are you in big town stores or little ones? Just curious if I should even attempt one when I have a $5/$20 (expired) that my store will let me use since they take expired coupons

WOW! Nice job... I had my BEST experience today shopping. My store STILL takes expired coupons AND lets me use one $5/$20 for every $20 I spend (even okayed with the LP guy!) I stacked target coupons and mfg coupons today. With my coupons, I saved 72% off my bill. Lets just say I spent under $200 AFTER coupons.. and I used all legit coupons! I wish I had the pantene coupons though! I only have the $3 off 1!!!

I went in today to return a few things we didnt need.. or rather, things I didnt see get put up on the counter I had bought the tshirts on the 1st at $4.99 so I was sooo happy to see them get marked to $2.99 as I got a price adjustment :) I got back an extra $42 over what I thought I was going to get back.. just on price adjustments for tshirts!

I am trying to figure out WHY I got no Target coupons in either Sunday paper? (We have 2 local ones that do all the Sunday coupons/fliers). Whats up with that?

I got a Gilette Fusion power razor kit (the razor, battery, after shave and shave cream) for $4.48 and there was a $4 coupon in Sundays paper. I bought all they had for 48 cents!

I found the Lightning McQueen TV/DVD for $74.98 and if I had 3 more of the $5 off $20 coupons, I would have bought it! I am going to go back in a few days and see if they marked it down more. Also, Cabbage Patch dolls were $6.22 at my store.

Has anyone noticed if the Disney Cars TV went any lower than the 15% off it was a couple of weeks ago? I would love to get my little one one for his July bday at like 50%! That would be nice!

I have not stepped in WM for a LONG time, just because of the Target coupons. Target gets 95% of my business now... and WM is across the street! Just because of the coupons, even if I didnt get to use the expired coupons every once in awhile

Rockfordmom, my store, for the granola bars, it beeped too... she didnt look at the item price, she just hit the F key or enter or something and it took the full $1 off. Another cashier, when it beeped, she looked at the computer and saw that I bought them, called a CSM over and that lady said well it wont take $1 off a 68 cent item. She said what I will do is take 5 $1 coupons... so I got 10 packs for $1.80. So not too bad... not free but still a great deal. I think total I got 40 packs of these granola bars, and only one cashier gave me a hard time, but I still got to use 5 coupons on 10 packs

The expired ones (IE the oreos, cereal) I wouldnt fight them on because technically they shouldnt be taking them anyway. But the granola said no where about size. The expired ones are just luck if you get to use them.

ljbvoskuil, I would have fought them, I have done it before too (on the granola bars) because the coupon specifically does not say a size. Call corporate and tell them you tried to use coupons that did not state a size and they refused to take them. I got a $3 coupon because of trouble using coupons at a store before. I havent tried the oreo ones (although those are expired anyway) but I did use teh granola ones and the cereal ones, its all in what store you go to or which cashier you get. I went and got 10 granola bar packages with no problem with the cashier. I then found some more after and went to a different cashier, she refused to take them. All in 10 minutes time, one took all 10 no ?s asked, another wouldnt take the 5 I had. Cereal ones, I had no problem with those. BUT, those are a split bar code, so if they didnt scan and thats why she wouldnt take them, she should have covered the second half. Mine didnt go through at first and when I saw the coupon, I told him to cover the 2nd half and he did and all 5 went through just fine :) And an FYI, I had 32 M&M coupons (greedy okay... but there were about 100 more bags on the shelf!), 2 OJ, 5 Pepsi Jazz coupons, 5 cereal coupons and after the cashier scanned them all, they all went into the garbage! Weird!

I use coupons all the time. But I limit what I get, my own personal choice. I got 10 of the granola bars, 10 of the chef boyardee, 5 of the Pepsi Jazz and about 7-8 of the M&Ms. I also gave away a bunch of coupons to other shoppers. I feel that by getting 20-30 of an item for free at one shot is drawing attention to these coupons and I know I benefit from saving $ so I dont want Target to squish these coupons. IMHO. Now, if you are perfectly okay with buying so much, so be it. I dont. I did buy a bunch of the lightbulbs with the GC's in them but I bought the lightbulbs, didnt take just the GC out. Now today, I am going back for 10 more packs of M&Ms, the rest of the granola bars (about 10 or 11 packs) and 5 more bottles of Pepsi Jazz before the coupons expire

After I use the store coupon, about half of the cashiers I have had throw the coupons out! Some stack them and put them with their other coupons, some just crumble and toss! I have different luck at different stores for expired coupons. And yes, out of 5 Target stores I hit. All but the FIRST one had the GC's and coupons taken out! Except someone hit one store and took a ton, but left me the $100!

I used mapleleaf tickets back in 03 and I got an amazing deal! We had 10 day park hopper tickets WITH 4 water park days for $243 for an adult! $186 or so for the kids!

Some of my stores will take the expired coupons as long as it scans and I dont cut off the date. Also, I got one of those Leap IQuest things. $12.48. I didnt realize it went by text books. So I am going to return it tomorrow if anyone wants to buy it instead.

I ALWAYS use hotwire.com or priceline.com If you go to betterbidding.com or biddingfortravel.com they have a list of what hotels usually come up at which star level and area. I use them to get an idea of the hotel I will get. They also have winning bid prices listed as well. I have never paid full price for a hotel, always use priceline or hotwire
