  1. I am a Prime member and I usually buy boatloads of stuff off Amazon during the holidays - but this year my kiddos are getting bigger and they have iPod Touches and Nintendo 3DS on their lists....electronic things I've never had to pay attention to before. Does Amazon normally PM these types of items for BF? If so, is it normally through Lightning Deals? On BF or in the days before? I have them already loaded up in my cart and check it daily for price adjustments...I'm just not sure when Amazon will start throwing out the deals (if they do). Anyone have any insight?
  2. I was actually there over the weekend to grab a couple soaps and I talked to the SA about their BF sale, the bag, etc. She said that BF is the only day they allow you use MULTIPLE coupons in one transaction, even with the purchase of the bag. I told her I had a collection of three $10 off $30 and one Free item coupon and she said indeed I could stack them and get the bag (as long as I ended up spending the $40 in the end after coupons, then the bag is another $20).
  3. Woo hoo! Got the Kindle...officially finished shopping for one of my kids!

    Disney Store?

I've been waiting for this one too..my DS3 has suddenly become obsessed with Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and I want to get him some stuff. They are having an "online preview sale" right now: http://www.disneystore.com/mn/1001256/ , and a week of deals starting next week Monday (the 25th). But so far, no word on any specific "% off the whole store"...I felt like they used to do 30% off everything in the store...but it's been a couple years since I've shopped there. I'm keeping my eyes out though!

    Old Navy

$5 fleeces were ALWAYS on my list....for the last 4 years I'd stay up, hop on ON's website at 12am, and pick up $50 in $5 fleeces for my kids (5 apiece). Not this year....most of their fleeces for kids are about $13.
  6. Thanks so much all! Does anyone know if they allow you to use coupons on top of the BF sales? I know with Children's Place, they normally do 30% off the whole store AND you can use coupons on top of that. Wasn't sure if Justice does something similar?
  7. My DD is getting bigger and is really bugging for some clothes from Justice for Christmas....I have never shopped there before - does anyone know what types of sales they normally have on BF? Can you use coupons on top of the BF sale prices? Thanks!!!
  8. I am a little sad about it, but will still go out on BF and shop. I feel like I probably won’t get all the stuff I want if the stores are opening Thursday evening, but it does mean the lines will be shorter by the time I get out there J For the past couple of years I’ve had pretty good luck still getting all the stuff I want even if I go out a couple hours after the doorbusters start, so I’m hoping I have the same luck this year. We’ve found that if we drive about 20 minutes to the next town over, the stores are a lot more calm and still have a good stock of stuff versus the stores in the main shopping plazas in our town, so hopefully the early opening times won’t affect that too much. SIL and I normally head out around 3am BF but depending on when other stores start opening, maybe we’ll try to head out a little bit earlier…around 1am or so. Just waiting for the rest of the ads to see how opening times play out, then we’ll make a game plan.
  9. For the last 4 years, I have gone to TCP on BF and bought all of my kids' clothes for the entire winter....for the past several years it's been 30% off the entire store, and you can use a coupon on top of that, and your 5% discount if you are a TCP cardholder. They've opened at 4am for the last 2-3 years.
  10. I had the fleece half-zips loaded in my cart and shortly after midnight hit "refresh" and the prices flipped. Kids' were all $5, same as the in-store price! Yay!
  11. I don't think you can on a regular basis, but on BF I'm always able to, as they put the whole store for 30% off and then take coupons on top it that day. Our store usually opens at 4AM, but I am not sure if that is chain-wide.
  12. Are you a Plus member by any chance? They were trying to sell me a Plus membership when I was there the other day, and said they'd have a special sale for Plus members only before BF.
  13. I won't leave the house til about 3:45am-ish on BF. I refuse to cut Thanksgiving with my family short, and usually by 8PM on Tgiving I'm so full and sleepy that going anywhere sounds wholly unappealing Thankfully I'm not in the market for anything "major" this year, so I think going out Friday AM will suit me just fine. Last year, I actually went to a lot of the major retailers (Target, WM, TRU etc) in the morning around 8AM and there was still lots of stuff left! I found everything I wanted and the stores were dead, I didn't even have to wait in a line to cash out! I'm hoping that I have the same luck this year. I do think that the whole concept of Black Friday is dying....most stores are opening on Thanksgiving and starting doorbusters, etc before Friday even rolls around.
  14. I do know that, for the last few years, Children's Place offers 30% off everything for the first few hrs they are open....my SIL and I usually make that one of our first stops in the morning because you could also use coupons on top of the 30% discount. Haven't seen anything from them for this year yet though....
