Not sure what ever happened as an end result to the other guy (this was a long time ago), but the fact that they called the police on him, and gave my friend his money back, was a good thing.

I had a friend a few years ago who bought a new HP CD Burner back when they first came on the market and cost over $300.00! The one he grabbed happened to be the last one they had on the shelf. When he got home, he opened the package and inside was no CD burner but instead a glass bottle full of water in its place. He immediately went back to the store and they checked their computer and verified that it had been previously returned and had the previous customer info on file. The store contacted police and charged the previous customer with theft. My friend recieved a full refund since they did not have another in stock and went to buy another at a different store. Since then he always opens his packages at the store before he leaves.

My wife's parents bought us the Durabrand 8.5" portable dvd for Christmas. I have not opened it yet as I am contemplating taking it back based on some of the poor responses I have seen on the net.

It appears that Amazon only allows the SAVENETGEARS promotional code to be used once now. Would not add any more for me.

I have a GE 2.4 cordless and also I use a older netgear WR814 with the MA111 USB adaptor and have no issues. My router is on the main floor while my computer is upstairs and I usually have between 90 and 95 signal. Have you tried changing the channel that your router uses?? To ensure the least amount of interferece between cordless phone and wireless router (any not just netgear) you should have them at least 6 channels apart. If you have not tried already, change your router to use channel 10 or 11 then reset and reboot everything and see if that helps.

Recieved mine yesturday. No Dead pixels!! Quite a difference going from a 17" CRT ot 19" LCD, will take some time to get used to the larger workspace. Thanks for the coupon codes!!!
