I hope this isn't a repost. I swear I looked. Anyway, The games that are on sale at best buy and toysrus, are these for playstation 1? Some I know are for playstation 2, xbox and gba, but then it says over 1500 video and software games will be on sale if I read that right. Anyway, we have a ps1 that we never used and my 3 yr old likes to play the 1 game we have and I was thinking of getting her like a barbie game or something for ps1 if they are on sale. well, if anyone still carries them. Does anyone know if they carry these or who might have those on sale? I scanned the ads a little bit but when i try to enlarge to read the fine print, it looks all pixelated (is that a word? LOL) Thanks

Bumpin. Anyone get this one today?

I think its too much transition for little ones. Bassinet to Crib, Crib to toddler bed, toddler bed to twin bed. Plus its pretty damn expensive. JMHO We bought a pack n play with a built in bassinet that we used everywhere even after she grew out of the bassinet, then she went to a crib that converts to a toddler bed and has a built in dresser but we didnt use that long because it was too small and then we bought a twin princess castle bed with a ladder and slide that she'll use for at least 10 more years. The slide is detachable and the canopy can be removed when she outgrows that. My sister went the other route. she bought a bassinet, a girly one i might add, then she bought a crib, then a pink and purple bear toddler bed and then had to buy a twin less than a year later. Then she had a boy so the only thing she is able to reuse is the crib and she couldnt hand it down to me because im 2300 miles away from her. It's tempting to get the toddler beds because they are usually pretty cheap, but i say invest that $100 into a bed he or she will be able to use for years.

I've never thought goodys was overpriced. I always find really good deals there. I am waiting for this one too. So far I havent gotten any ads for any stores

Oh I dig that one at penneys. Shipping that would be expensive though im sure. At least you get another use for it.

Oh the walmart associates are so very rude. Once I was checking out with my husband (he's a big guy) and we bought a lot of junk food because we're junk food junkies LOL Anyway, this older lady that was checking us out was scanning our stuff and looking at the nutrition info on stuff as she was scanning and said " This is going to give you a stroke" Or something to that effect. I said excuse me? And she said her brother in law just had a stroke and gave us his cholesterol level and said junk is all he ate. then looked at my husband and said " I would hate for that to happen to you". I couldnt believe she said that! We don't know this woman and even if she had good intentions, her comments were completely out of line and not received well. Her job is to scan the groceries and take my money, I can do without the comments. Now when I buy anything like feminine products or condoms, I'm afraid the checker is going to comment on it. The last time I bought a pregnancy test I swear I was about to have a panic attack LOL Talk about me all you want in the break room, but while I'm in front of you, keep your mouth shut!

yeah Thursday evening we're supposed to get rain/snow showers, but i'm not going to let that discourage me. I was planning on bringing blankets for the floor, but it looks like ill have to squeeze some chairs into my car. Which sucks because it really won't leave much room for all my buys. I'll just have to ditch my beach chairs if that becomes an issue LOL

I think I saw that someone had a princess canopy bed. I think maybe it was target. I'll check again to be sure. Just some advice, do not waste your money on a toddler bed! Just buy a twin and buy a rail for it. It's really a waste otherwise since they are only in it a year max. Next year you'll be here looking for a good deal on a twin while you're SO is trying to squeeze the toddler bed into the storage shed or attic. Also the bedding never fits right. The crib sets which are supposed to fit are too small and twin sets are too big. I think they had toddler beds in the big toy book, but not on bf. I don't recall what the prices were though.

Someone mentioned there was a $2.00 alarm clock BF deal. Where is this deal? I seem to be missing it. I could probably use one and I can think of a few people I wouldn't feel guilty only spending $2.00 on for xmas. Thanks

The waffle house in our area is a little scary. I see them counting money, smoking, scratching butts etc and they never ever wash their hands. YOu would think they would do it just because they know people are watching them prepare their food, but nope. It would not surprise me at all if the waitress came up to take our order with a cig hanging from her lips. We'll probably go to Bob Evans since I have a part time waitressing gig there and get 20% off. We've gone to ocharleys in the past though. They have the best Island chicken salad mmmmmmmmmm

I think that is it. Thank you!

I have a camera phone I'll be sure to take with me. Quality of the pics suck, but I should be able to capture the madness with it. Hubby and I just decided we're going to hit best buy for the $149 desktop. The problem is the closest bestbuy to us is in a really bad area so we don't want to risk being robbed in line with our digi cam with us. It's bad enough we have to worry about people stealing the stuff we want to buy, don't wanna risk them stealing stuff we've already paid for. LOL

I would tell her to skip someone and bring you the ad because you actually want the "junk mail".

I guess Im weird, but I always feel guilty spending a lot of money on things that I do not "need" any other time except for the holidays. I actually save up cash so I can have a decent xmas and give my kid a good one as well. I've talked myself out of buying the tivo and roomba when I've seen good deals because I have been hoping someone will buy me them. Unfortunately my dad and Dh don't take hints very well <sigh>

I think it's mainly in the south. I'm in NC. It's a department store similar to dilliards and macys I think. Heres a link to the website store locator http://belk.com/main/stores.jsp?bmUID=1132545099994

I've been begging for tivo for the past 2 yrs. I would love to find a great deal on this as well since it seems like nobody is going to buy it for me

I need this ad to finish my bf planning. Everything is up in the air until I get this which sucks. Has anyone seen the ad yet?

I am going with my step mom and step sisters. None of which have any interest in toys which is what I want. They want to hit Belks and the clothing stores. I want toysrus, dicks, walmart and walgreens. So I have no clue what to do. Being sorta new to the family BF tradition, I don't think I have a say in it. They did make a detour to walmart for me last year so I could get a leap pad, but their heart wasn't in it and I felt bad. I want to hit Belks as well because my step sister works there and can get us an additional 20% off on top of all the other deals(whatever they may be. Come on Belk ad!). but I really want to get us much as I can for my daughters xmas for the least amount of money. And I have coupons for toysrus to save a little more. What a dilemma, man! Not only that, my step mom is always ragging on her daughters and usually it turns into an argument. That drives me crazy!

My 3 yr old dd wants everything she sees on tv. The things she has actually made me stop and look at when she sees an advertisement is... Skydancers Barbie Pet doctor bratz stuff(not getting. too hoochie for a 3 yr old. Well maybe the fashion head thing. We'll see) barbie magic pegasus stuff dora the explorer talking kitchen(has play kitchen already so nope) dress up and makeup stuff hide and seek doll thing some baby doll (cant think of the name right now) doodle monster (not getting. played with her doodle bear once and lost all the markers) i know there is more but i cant think of it.. oh she keeps talking about a bear that reads books. anyone know what this is? It's something new. I don't think its teddy ruxbin but it may be since the stuff from my generation is now making it into the toy boxes of our kids. I haven't seen any commercial on it. We have already gotten her the cinderella talking vanity and the barbie smart house with Pregnant midge, Alan and baby. Now just little stuff I can get for very little $$
-
I wa just in big lots and got the cinderella talking vanity and the barbie smart house for $30.00 each. I doubt I'll see a better deal than that since both are normally like $60-$70. Last year I wasn't impressed by their BF sale. I'm usually after little girl toys.

I noticed this was on sale at walmart for $99.00 as a doorbuster deal. Does anyone know if this is the dvd player and the tv combined for that price or if each unit is 99.00. Im pretty sure ethey're both 99 together because the dvd player alone is only like 69.00 normally. I just want to make sure I have this right before BF. Is anyone else going to walmart for this deal? Also can I buy the barbie drums that i saw on sale at toysrus and have walmart price match that? I just wanna be sure I have this price matching thing right. Thanks in advance! This site is great!
