  1. I usually make all my desserts(pies, pumpkin roll, etc.) the night before. I also cut up the celery and onions and tear up the bread for the stuffing the night before. Then around 9ish in the morning I prepare the stuffing, clean the turkey, stuff it, and pop it in the oven. Throughout the day I start getting side dishes ready to be cooked.
  2. Usually right after New years I will take down any decorations and the tree.
  3. I wanted to take the kids to go see it, but they claim they didn't care for 1 and 2(why we own them is beyond me). I would like to see it, I guess I'll have to wait until it's on DVD(probably next Christmas ). I think the family movie we are going to see this holiday season is going to be Happy Feet. My oldest loves penquins and it looks like a cute movie.
  4. Oops I guess you beat me to it. They also have Buy 3 get 1 free on the rest of the signature collection products including holiday ones. I do not know if this offer is also available in store. Here is the link...http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=2171646&cp=2484777&view=all&view=all
  5. It's at the right time for me. Your post says 4:42 and it's now 4:44.

  9. LOL at the post-it-note. Thanks I will have to try that next time. I could have gotten 75% of the purchase at Walmart, but 2 of the items I wouldn't have found at Walmart. It's strange because I always shop at the same store. My printer doesn't print as good quality as the mailed out coupons do, so I don't know if that reason would work. Thanks again for the coupon and the advice. :)
  10. The last coupon that was posted I printed and tried using it. After talking to the cashier, someone higher than him, and the manager I was told it isn't a valid coupon and they would not accept it. I was so mad. I told them that numerous people have used the coupon with no problems including myself in the past. Oh well, maybe this one will work. Thanks for posting it!!
  11. I went to Target yesterday, but didn't have much time to look for bargins(I was looking for make-up for my son's costume and had to get home to cook dinner soon). I did notice that the one spot was still regular price although.
  12. I think I will go pick up some of these for my son's Halloween party tomorrow. Thanks!!
  13. The boys department at my Jcpenneys had at least 8 racks of shirts and a few pants at $1.97.
  14. I don't know if these are easy to play, but look good for girls. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2187504 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5013022 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5013210 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5127522 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3868595 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5013220 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5013219 This one was under Early Childhood..http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4307195 Mario and Sonic are also good kids games
  15. I don't have any girls, but my boys have 2 Dora games and there are 2 other ones for sale now. The kids that play them are 4 and 5 and they have been playing them for over a year. We have Dora the Explorer: Search for Pirate Pig's Treasure http://www.amazon.com/Explorer%253a-Pig%2527s-Treasure-Nintendo-Advance/dp/B00006IJVQ/sr=1-2/qid=1161821138/ref=sr_1_2/002-2155795-1394442?ie=UTF8&s=videogames Dora the Explorer: Super Spies http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2259321 Here are the 2 other ones available..http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5013196 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3059265
  16. This is what I use also.
  17. I have to buy 2 PSPs too. My son keeps telling me that he thinks that the price will go down, so I have been waiting in anticpation.
  18. I too have bought a couple games from them also. My kids will be sad to see them closing, but they have been shopping more at playasia.com lately anyway.
  19. I also suggest VSmile. VSmile has new things out this year. They have a dance pad game and an art studio game. Those cost more then the regular games, but you get the accessory necessary to play it with it. Leapster LMax is pretty cool and now they have Leapster TV, which I think is almost the same as LMax except it's played with a controller like the VSmile.. Gamecube has alot of good games for kids, but you would definately have to change the games for your child.
  20. I signed this awhile back. I'm glad to see that alot of people feel the same as all of us and hopefully something will be done to keep layaway at Walmart!
  21. Thanks!! I can't wait to get some of those video games!
  22. I made cookies for my son's snack day and have throughout the years for my other kid's classroom parties/birthdays. I know the school doesn't like cakes/cupcakes because they are too messy. One of my son's classmates had a birthday last week and the mom brought in cupcakes for him to pass out and the teacher told her that it was a mess and not to do it again. I am glad I found this out because I was thinking of cupcakes for his birthday for the class, but now I'll have to find something else. I will probably do candy/toys/etc.
  23. I already bought cups, pencils, candy, and toys for Halloween. I haven't decided what I am doing for Christmas yet because the class party is the same day as my son's birhtday and I'll already be bringing in something for that.
  24. I do all the cooking. It is usually my kids, my dad, and myself. My brothers sometimes stop by as does my mother and her BF. I'm not sure if DS is inviting his GF. This is their first year together through the holidays and they are only 15, so she may have family plans she has to be at. Here is what I make every year.. Turkey w/ stuffing Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Corn Green Bean Casserole Sweet Potatoes Jellied Cranberry Sauce Rolls Pumpkin Pie Pumpkin Roll Another kind of pie(pecan, cherry, apple, etc.) and/or cheesecake
