This is what I do every year now. My cousin and some friends split the cost of the hotel and leave after thanksgiving dinner. We go to a city an hour away, they have more stores than here. It usually cost less than $20 a person and was a suite. It was a nice getaway with adults and lots of fun! This year my husband and i are going instead. I thought it would be a nice getaway without kids! A little alone time before we have our baby! I was searching for rooms and found one for only $42 a night. Not too bad for a fun night!

I go every year and get great buys! They have special bundles of toys for example, last year geo traxs and little people sets. Plus, if you use their credit card, you get an extra 15% off the total and the $10 per $50 spent. The toys at 50% off usually are the doorbusters but have good prices on everything else the rest of the day so you can go back later. I think it is definatly worth going!!

Check out toy r us right now. They have the gamecube with 4 games for about $130.00 i think. I saw the ad for this week! :)

I didn't get a menards ad in our local paper, so i went online and the whole ad is online. Lots of good stuf for the early sale on Friday. They are also having a good weekend sale. For example, Arctic Twister(soft serve ice cream) is only $9.98, candles 1.97, pizza oven 39.87, matchbox cars .58, photo albums free with rebate, tonka trucks 6.99. And lots more!!! I was just at Kohls and asked about their sale. The lady at service counter said the toys will be 50% off. If you have a credit card, they sent coupons in the mail. I got an extra 15% off any day. I pick that day! If anyone is looking for the geotrax things, they have alot of good sets with extras. With the sale, it will be a better buy than the other stores. Hope this helps someone! Now where is the Shopko ads!

Is this the list of stores that are already closed? Or the ones that are going to close? Thanks. It has the stores on there near me but i think they are already closed too.
