I've been "very" pregnant for black friday and one year I brought my 11 month old with us. Never had a problem. I waited in car until doors opened so he wouldn't get cold and waited until everyone went in. Also dh was with. He was a good baby. It was 6 years ago and kohls opened at 5 or 6 am so not that early. No one shoved or was disorderly. I think last year was the worse I saw (walmart) & I have been going for years.. I would only bring the baby if someone was with me to go to the side away from the people!

My job includes cleaning a restaurant, so while vacuuming, i've been listening to christmas music on pandora! Amy Grant holiday music. Of course pandora picks all christmas not just Amy Grant. I'm alone at work so know one has to know! Lol

I just got mine too! It was in my paper today with the kmart thanksgiving and black friday ad. I was surprised it was in there.

They dont do doorbusters but usually first 100 people get something free. Last year I think a big teddy bear. If I remember they didnt open till 5 or 6 and had a 2 day sale.

Check nursing homes. They don't always have alot. When my fil passed we donated all his christmas decorations to them. Even before he passed we gave them the little christmas villages and trees etc. They put everything up too. The elderly really enjoyed it.

I got the skylanders game this week at toys r us. Its $69.99 but you get another 3 characters and a $15 gift card for buying a game $59.99 and up. So its like paying $44.99 and getting 6 characters instead of 3. A better deal than walmart. Sale ends saturday.

Yes they should take all coupons as long as u have enough products. They usually check your items before u check out to make sure. Last year it was buy 3 get 3 free on lotions,gel etc..

The good toys go fast. If u wait too long, the toys u want might be gone. I know walmart will pm too. Fleet farm usually will have cheaper prices on some of their toys.

There are coupons out right now for alot of the games at Target, Walmart, and Kmart. They were in the Sunday paper and I found some in the Family Fun magazine. $1 and $2 off coupons.(Target candy land 3.88- 1.oo coupon=2.88). Also on the cases of pepsi products they are coupons for hot wheels, uno attack(which is on sale at walmart for 9.97) and others. Also kmart has games buy 1 get 1 free on Thanksgiving. Hope this helps someone to save more money!

I know what you mean about bonuses. New owners where I work so no more bonuses:( They always came a few days before Christmas. Nice for last minute shopping. My dh gets a turkey at Thanksgiving and a ham for Christmas.. Better than nothing!!:)
