  1. With One to Two Thousand people visiting a day it's rather large, and it really brings down my home and work PC when loading the homepage for the forum. Do I have a 2nd?

    BF tip

I'm pretty certain that I have to work on BF. It's either that or I'll be Atlantic City. When is Thanksgiving this year?
  3. So this forum is the meeting place for those people who run over the little old ladies, and 5 year old kids, who got dragged along with their Mother trying to get good deals themselves? I'm such a kidder!
  4. Take them with you and play the trick "hey do you think xxx cousin will like this?" My mom did that to me once. What a good idea that was.
  5. Yeah, I've never seen any coupons for Abercrombie or Hollister either. The only deals I know of, is to either wait until the clothes are out of season, or find a friend that works there. You guys are getting a hollister too?
  6. Nah, wasn't just you. What happened was that when the bots attacked the server I stopped HTTP to prevent the server from crashing. After I nullrouted the attacking IP's I started HTTP back up, but forgot to start SSL back up.
  7. Thanks ActuaryTM. Starting around 11:15 today we've been getting a nice steady DDOS attack aimed at httpd. Almost have it entirely nullrouted now, but it's been effecting primarily https traffic. Edit: Why did I call you Tim? Heh.
  8. Ross was asking me for ideas the other day for GottaDeal.Com. I came up with one! Okay, say I'm searching by store and I choose the NewEgg.Com store from the drop down. If I were to link my friend, the address says; http://www.gottadeal.com/deals.php so I would have to instruct him go to GottaDeal.Com, then choose NewEgg from the drop down menu. My idea is for a way to link directly for the NewEgg deals page. I think it would be make it considerbly easier to link friends to exact pages. It'd probably help out the search engine ranking too. Edit: Argh, I guess you can do it by clicking on the comments link, but that links you to the forum post for that specific deal. Edit 2: Oh dang. Now I really look bad. I guess you can do it, as there is a link right at the bottom of the page. Maybe I should change my suggestion to have the link at the top of the page? I tried. That's all that matters right?
  9. I like AF's hoodies (my winter attire) and some of their shirts too. Their jeans I don't really like since most of them use that destroyed/dirtied look. I like that a little bit, but they take that to a whole new exteme, especially when they're charging $80 for a pair of jeans. I prefer to buy all my jeans from Hollister and then American Eagle. Hollister is AF's discount line, but they seem to share similiar clothing lines.
  10. Normal pricing is a little less than gap. Clearance prices are really nice though -- jeans are like $20 and shirts you can get for like $10.
  11. The shirts are about even, I think the coloring and fabric is a little higher quality than Old Navy's though. The jeans are of much higher quality though. I have a couple pairs of jeans from Old Navy and the back pockets seem to rip pretty easily (From my fat wallet of course :)) and they seem to fade really easily as well.
  12. Good deal. I haven't seen anything remotely decent other than their clearance deals since Christmas, and I need some new polo's and shorts.
  13. I need some new clothes for the new season. Does anyone have any coupon codes for the www.ae.com website? They have an instant $10 off deal, but it never hurts to look for more.
