Well, it is continuously spinning for at least 15 minutes... I thought that would generate more heat, at least. Question: can you just scribe on any (scribable) CD, or do you have to burn a new copy first, then scribe? I mean, can you do it independently of each other? On the flipside, if you are burning and scribing, which one goes first - the burning or the scribing?

Good to hear... can't wait to see the actual disc for I've never seen one. Does your CPU/case temp spike up when you're scribing? If so, by how much?
