  1. Great suggestion. I don't have first-hand experience with this model, but I know that Toshiba VCRs are highly durable. I've had mine for years and it's still going strong, albeit I hardly use it anymore...
  2. I thought as much - just wanted confirmation. :)
  3. Yep, Circuit City has the same laptop - but $180 in rebates. Staples has it for $630 (after Instant Savings) with a $30 Easy Rebate to make it $599. So, is this the best deal we have right now?
  4. Yep, that's exactly what I'm talking about. http://images.crossmediaservices.com/dyn_li/200.0.88.0/Retailers/Staples/s0053532.jpg
  5. What do you guys think of this? Anyone got a better deal? Looking to purchase right away... Use is just for schoolwork, surfing, e-mail - nothing too intensive.
  6. For BobbyD, it's gonna be this if you don't stop: http://forums.gottadeal.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4
  7. Ross - STOP! Have you had lunch yet? You're giving him more expensive items - he wants one for less than $129.95! :)
  8. That item is even more expensive than his original price from Dell: GBP 89.00 (Approximately US $168.17)
  9. There you go, Ross - a free pass! What are you waiting for?
  10. Some real gems in there. One more post...
  11. I should've clarified my question - I meant burning software. Do you use Nero or Roxio or something else?
  12. Me too - it's listed under "additional options"... I'll bring up more suggestions as I come across them - just little things here and there.
  13. Yep, you can see the message, but you can't see the image. LOL - this is a suggestion thread after all! I can shut up if you want.
  14. No, the thumbnail feature is fine... it's the way it works that's a little awkward - how come you can't preview your post with an attached image?
  15. Wow, crazy hot price... too bad the link doesn't go straight to the item. :)
  16. What software do you use?
  17. Nope - b and g works on the 2.4GHz frequency.
  18. I can live with it. I'll see if I can find something too...
  19. Nice! A little confusing, though...
  20. Cool - I'm gonna try it...
  21. Great! Now make it happen, mister!
  22. Good idea. You can even make that a higher number if you want to... you know, just to make sure. Hmmm... figure maybe 5-10 images at, say 1MB each - 5-10MBs? That way, users would need to delete old attachments/images if they want to upload new ones - making it, essentially, a self-policing system.
  23. Hmmm... so it's just the custom avatars that get stored in the DB? That's good then... how about attachments - or images, rather?
  24. That's it, I guess. Do we need it for Offline Hot Deals/Grocery Coupons? You know, just in case people want to share scanned paper ads that can't be found online? Or receipts perhaps? I don't know - just throwing it out there. Which leads me to a curious question: can you scan coupons, print them out, and use it in a store? Probably a stupid question, but I'd like to hear the answer.
