We do a fish fry and grill fresh shrimp on Christmas Eve, with tons of fancy sides. Christmas morning I fix something light before we open our gifts and head over to moms for a huge brunch. We have dinner at my grandparents, which has always been ham sandwiches on homemade buns. She makes the best buns in the world, so sandwiches are perfect!

You can also apply for a non-resident library card from the Free Library of Philadelphia for only $15 per year and they have tons of books to download.

I'm glad they turned out! I use real butter for everything but cookies. I'm really, really picky about cookies though. Once I went to help a friend make her DD's birthday cake. She'd picked up everything for the frosting and when I asked for the butter, she handed me a tub of Country Crock. She thought that was butter and would work the same.

I also placed the order through the promotion link posted. I chose ubuild monopoly, sorry spin and the Nerf game and even checked out and no discount. I emailed customer service and they responded that not all the games I chose were in the promotion - even though I was on the promotion page and did the check mark boxes.
I just had them cancel the monopoly and sorry game then and just bought the Nerf game. They didn't specify which games weren't included.
Edited: Also I checked and all games were sold by Amazon.
I tried to order a couple of weeks ago and the same thing happened. I sent an email, but they needed more info. In the meantime, I found a better deal on something else

site to store takes days to ship the item its not like in store pickup at best buy
Actually, a couple of weeks ago, Walmart unvelied same day site to store shipping for those items that are carried both places. This is only in select cities right now, but will be everywhere soon. You are supposed to be able to pick up your order in less than an hour.

cookies made with margarine are usually softer than those made with butter.
I always had the same problem with chocolate chip cookies- until I started doing this:
Use 1/2 shortening and 1/2 margarine in place of butter
Use brown sugar instead of white
Take them out way before they look done. They will continue to cook as they cool.

Biscuits and gravy doesn't take any longer than eggs & bacon to make. Make the drop biscuits on the bisquick box, I usually make large ones and put a little pat of butter on top of each one before baking. Takes maybe 5 minutes to make. You can also used canned biscuits from the grocery store, the flaky ones are the best.
gravy - cook sausage, ground sausage is the best but links work too if that's all you have, remove sausage from pan and add butter & let it melt, add flour or bisquick like you do when you make a gravy, add salt & pepper and then milk and let cook, last put sausage or cut up links back in pan. Takes 10-15 minutes at the most. I don't ever measure anything. Comes out better than any restaurants every time!
Don't forget about the frozen Grands! biscuits which are better than any homemade I've ever had.
If time is still an issue- scramble up some sausage the night before and add it to a mix that morning.
I always do homemade gravy and it's by far one of the quickest meals ever- if you decide to do homemade biscuits, you can also make them up before, stick them on a cookie sheet, freeze, then put in a baggie and pull out for use that morning.

NO ,it's not free ship for a year, it's 3 months unless you buy stuff from amazon baby department . My youngest is 14 so that's out, but it's still a good deal.
But you can buy a $1-$2 pacifier and give or throw it away if you need to- then your Prime is only $12 a year. It's also able to be extended 18 months by doing that (21 total).

Leapsters are always updating and phasing out. Their site does this constantly, even on really new products. I wouldn't worry about it , as they are all compatible with each other. (Leaspters have always been backwards compatible)

I ordered a bunch of stuff on Saturday and it didn't show that it shipped, even though there was a hold on my card. Last night it changed to 'in process' with a tracking number, today it showed 'shipped'. When I clicked on tracking, it showed nothing. When I went to the UPS site and put it in, it is already out for delivery. I think their system is behind.

When using Net10, remember that the carry over minutes aren't always the best plan. You get 200 minutes (that can carry over) for $20, but for $25, you'll get 750 that expire within 30 days. If you're planning on using over 200, definitely do the $25 plan. If you use less, then stick with the carry over.
