  1. I received an e mail on the 31st from newegg.com that they had the brown zune back in stock for $99.99. Hope this helps
  2. I've heard & read they have been quite pleased with the Wal-Mart / Sam's deal & it's working well for them. They are trying to regain market share & get past HP to reclaim the throne again as #1, so you may see even more deals to sell thru big box retailers.
  3. Does anyone know of a place to get them repaired? BB/CC? Is it worth it to get fixed? I thought about PS3, but I waited a couple years before I bought the PS2, I'm patient to wait for the prices to fall, but need my system. Thanks
  4. The ad for the York, PA market showed the 10" Audiovox for $84. The East York store had plenty & saw them restocking at 10 am Friday. Must have been a regional thing.
  5. Which WM in York, West Manchester or York Mall? My Super WM is in Southern York County, Shrewsbury. We went to WM this morning not to shop, they didn't have anything that impressed me, but to show my 13 yo daughter what it looks like there at 5 am on BF. This was her 1st BF so she was excited. Usually the store is very crowded. We arrived at 455, at 5 they cut the plastic & people started getting their stuff. No one was fighting or pushing, because there were no crowds around the pallets. I have to say the store seemed less crowded then usual, & the energy level of the shoppers & employees seemed low. Even the people in the electronics line seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else. I think Wal-Mart really underestimated their customers & in the end will shortchange themselves.
  6. & I just ordered mine & saved a couple more $$$ by opening a Dell prefered account. After searching all day for this I feel better finally getting it. The heck w/ TRU, it sounds like they don't have very good management at the store level with some of the stories I have read today. Thanks for the tip ecNick!!!
  7. Doesn't Target care about their customers in the other 44 states? I guess we don't matter as much as those customers in CA, NJ, FL, NY, IN, WI. Why should I give Target any of my $$$ if I am not as worthy of a customer as those in the special 6 states? I'm sure they'll get some of my $$$ as my wife will have to go there. But still, we need to survive in PA & MD too. It would be nice if they gave all their customers the love instead of just a few.
  8. Well, if there was any doubt that WM had the worst BF ad, this just put them over the top with a slam dunk. The ad is weak & the "secret specials" are even weaker. Whoever was in charge of this debacle in Bentonville should be fired. If I was Lee Scott, I would start the firing on Monday after this weekend when the sales results come in. Who is really going to shop there for the crap they have? I guess many will as Wal-Mart is their only choice, but many who have choices won't. They really screwed the pooch on this 1. Obviously they haven't been paying attention to what was said on here since their ad was "officially released".
  9. Wal-Mart should be ashamed of themselves for wasting all that paper to run this crappy ad & all the time it took their printers to run it!!! I thought they said they learned their lesson after a crappy ad a couple years ago. They didn't learn anything. I hope their secret deals are worth looking at because right now we will not going there.
  10. Didn't Wal-Mart learn their lesson a couple years ago when they had a lame ad & high prices & everyone complained & their sales were down? Didn't Lee Scott say that Wal-Mart learned their lesson & would never make that mistake again. I guess they forgot that lesson. I feel jealous because many of you have seen the ad & I haven't. This is usually our 1st stop every BF.
  11. This is correct, SWM's are open 24/7 & they only close Christmas Eve @ 6 pm until 6 am the day after Christmas. Regular WM's follow a more regular holiday shutdown schedule. We live a few miles from SWM & never have to stand outside & freeze, We usually get in the store & scope out where everything is located &make our plan. my wife, my brother, his wife & me. We always get everything we want at WM. Last year we were out of there by 515 & I was in line across the street @ HD & got the 32" HDTV.
  12. I had no problem getting 1 of the 32" 1080I HD LCD's for $478 or whatever the price was last year. We hit Wal*Mart in Shrewsbury, PA1st & got all our 5 am specialswe wanted, then went across the street to Home Depot & got in line & when they opend at 6, we were 1 of the 1st 3 in the store & got the TV. They had 10 of the 32" & 10 of the 42". We were very happy with the deals we hit at Wal*Mart & Home Depot. 10 of each size of TV is a fair amount for a BF deal. The TV is great & what a great deal it was.
