For both my kids they run true to size. My dd wears a ladies 10 and my ds wears a mens 12. Never had a problem with vans and that's their prefered brand for shoes.

I got one of these for my 13y/o DS who normally wears a 12/14 and guess what.....the XXL (14) ? Yeah right....it might be a 10 but more likely an 8. Even though it was for Christmas, I had her try it on after I opened it and noticed how small it was. It was very very small. Thank goodness I can give it to her friend who wears a 0. :) Oh well, ya live, ya learn. I also got her a pair of capris that look to be about the right size, but won't know till Christmas.
