I think your niece would most definitely like a Barbie Jeep/Truck/Car! As for the boys, what about sports balls? Like a soccer ball, football? 9 year old boys, some, may also be into Skateboards! You can usually pick one up for around $15-$20 at Walmart. (or I can look online, or others can). As for the pokemon, I'm also all out of the loop on those. Are they into Bakugan?

Wow, there are some really great gift ideas in this thread! Especially the personalized ornaments! If you are wanting to 'buy' a gift, I would lean towards the Walmart Gift Card - this allows the Teacher to either get: school supplies for their classroom, a gift for themselves, grocery items, or even gasoline (if you have a Walmart Gas Station, we do, I don't know if all do).

A tip if you do choose to price match items: Use a marker and circle the item on the competitor's ad, and then use a sticky tag/note to mark the page. Or you can write down the items on a piece of paper (which page/which ad/etc), but that way takes a bit more time imo. Just have this stuff out and ready once you are in the checkout lane. When I've PM'd on BF, I've also looked for cashiers that I know have been there for awhile, that way they know what they are doing, and it offers less of a chance they'll need to call the manager over (hence more time in line for me, and anyone behind me). Also, like StationChief and BigJim said, PMing is getting harder and harder to accomplish on the great buys on BF.

I thought what you are reporting for clothing limit was odd. This is what I found: (link: HERE) "each eligible article of clothing and footwear must be priced at $100 or less" & "purchases of qualifying school supplies selling for $20 or less per item" Under VA's Guideline's this is how it's worded: "each school supply item with a selling price of $20 or less and each article of clothing or footwear with a selling price of $100 or less." So, from what I'm reading, you don't necessarily have a limit of total dollar amounts you spend. Here an example: you should be able to buy the following, all in one order, ALL exempt from the tax: $15 Student Binder$19.99 Calculator$1.00 Colored Pencils$3 Paper Notebook$20 T-shirt$40 Blue Jeans$10 Socks$40 another pair Blue Jeans$40 (two more shirts)etc etcAs long as each 'school item' costs less than $20 EACH (not a limit of $20 spent total) you are good. And as long as each clothing article costs less than $100 EACH (not a limit of $100, go ahead and spend $1,000 if you want) - you should be good. (shipping online is just $0.97) Also, Amazon (with Amazon chosen as the seller) has about 3 different designs, and just a few more dollars than Walmarts.
