  1. is Circuit City local for you?? If so, I would go back and have them read their own policy and make them honor the ad. If CC isn't local, you are probably out of luck since their policy says local competitors.
  2. I saw them at WM the other day...didn't even notice price but they did have them.
  3. Ok, curiosity got me and I unwrapped it...lol I actually ordered and got the New Color Wonder Sprayer. New Crayola® Color Wonder™ Sprayer http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JL37BY A no-mess, themed creativity kit for kids Watch colors magically appear on the specially treated Color Wonder surfaces surprising patterns and images are revealed as kids draw and play Includes 24-pg. coloring book, 30-pg. coloring tablet, finger paints, markers and a 20-pg. mini tablet For ages 3 yrs. and up Batteries Required (Sold Separately): 4 C Batteries However, further down on the amazon page is a product description from the manufacturer: Product Description From the Manufacturer Color Wonder Sprayer Unit includes: 4 Color Wonder spray ink cartridges, 2 Color Wonder broad line markers, 1 White crayon, 30 page Color Wonder Paper Tablet, 3 Create-a-scene stencils and 1 no mess play mat. *this description actually matches the box contents listing. And the age on the box is marked as 5+ (not 3+). Not sure where Amazon came up with their description and the 24 page coloring book, etc???? Anyway...I think 7 year old granddaughter will love it. :) ETA: My item number is: New Crayola® Color Wonder™ Sprayer ASIN: B000JL37BY Item model number: 75-2500 And the box does say NEW next to the COLOR WONDER part.
  4. got an email that my order shipped yesterday. I had ordered a couple of prints as well and got those within a few days...I expect the remaining items (mousepads) to be here tomorrow or Friday.
  5. oh man..I ordered it..got it yesterday and wrapped it already...it's under the tree. I really didn't even look that closely at it and didn't open the box. Maybe I should unwrap it just to check.
  6. FWI: We order books from Nat. Geo all the time for the library I work at...they are always really nice quality books. I don't think anyone will be disappointed in their books!
  7. Staples has Compaq this week...$429 after $30 rebate. You can order it online or get in store. AMD Dual Core Processor, 1 Gig Ram, Vista Home Premium, 120 Gig HD, 802.11 b/g wireless LAN. Should be easy enough to upgrade the RAM. I think you're gonna have a hard time finding a pre-built with XP anymore. You can still go to Dell and build with XP.
  8. Well now I guess we'll all be seeing "rainchecks" on ebay. LOL.
  9. Are you kidding??!!! That's HORRIBLE customer service! I wouldn't give them a nickel deposit in that case! Glad I don't shop GS anyway. I would call their corporate offices and complain LOUDLY. It may only be $5, but it's the principle of the matter!!
  10. Man...if they are pulling that I think I'd bombard them with phone calls to complain then complain with the BBB about their tactics.
  11. hmmm...ordered the original @ amazon for 3 yr. old niece. Should I go ahead and buy the WM one just because that's such a great price?? Though we really don't need 2 systems...I guess we could have one at my moms and one at my brothers' house for her. Would save one or the other for her bday in July...lol ETA: surely they are all completely interchangable, right?? like the disney ones could be used in the regular unit and the other ones used in the disney unit?? It looks like it's just cosmetic differences between them.
  12. LOL...I first read this as Where to buy a big RIG..and I was thinking why would you want to with fuel prices what they are?? LOL! My dh owns and operates his own truck and fuel is outrageous. For some reason I read that as big rig instead of big rug. LOL! Hope you find a RUG. :)
  13. they probably won't really read all the details...so you'd probably be fine to pay cash.
  14. Got this email back from Amazon this evening.... Thank you for writing to Amazon.com. The discounts we offer on items on our web site do vary from time to time. I've checked your order, and found that we currently offer a greater discount on items than at the time you placed your order. Since this item has not yet shipped, I have adjusted the price to reflect the current discounted price, $32.38. This is the price you will be charged when the order ships. On the date of shipment, you should receive an e-mail message confirming the date, contents, and method of your shipment. Thanks again for shopping at Amazon.com. Weird thing is that my order has been adjusted online already and the total is $42.xx not $32.xx (and the cents aren't the same so it wasn't just a typo on the first number). I wonder if that means prices will drop even more and that the $32.xx is really all I'm going to be charged?? Oh well...I'm very happy with the $42!
  15. where do you go to email them??? I'm looking on the site and just not finding it. I ordered some stuff last night and today there's an $8 price difference so I need to to PA for me. Just not sure where to go to send them an email. Thanks Edit: Never mind...found it! Thanks!
  16. definitely a GREAT deal...too bad my brother already has this...but it's an Awesome set!
  17. My WM today still had lots of the webkinz and some hannah montana tees. Didn't check on any of the other deals. Oh, they also had 5 or 6 of the Toshiba HD DVD players behind the counter.
  18. I have Vista on my computer and don't have any problems uploading songs to my Creative Muvo player.
  19. Call WM corporate and complain. They advertised a minimum number of items per store. Min. of 10 on the blue tooth and 96 per store min. on the HM tees. If all the stores didn't get all the items then it's false advertising on WM part. Make them make it right.
  20. I don't have this exact model...but I have a very similar Creative MP3 player..just plug into usb port and send songs to it. Super easy and never had any problems with the player. :)
  21. yes, it's $25. WM has revealed the prices now. I'd go get a price adjustment...or return it for a refund then rebuy it at the sale price.
  22. here are the prices: <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a118/scrapwave/wmss.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a><br> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a118/scrapwave/wmss2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a><br> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a118/scrapwave/wwss3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a><br>
  23. I sent them an email and someone from the local store finally called me this week. Of course, she couldn't get me any specs or information on the $388 computers...just repeatedly told me that they had 5 of them that morning and they sold immediately at 5 am. Funny, we asked repeatedly in electronics about those computers (at 3:30 am on BF, then again at 10:30 am on BF, then again on the next day....just out of curiosity....and NOBODY in electronics EVER knew anything about the $388 computers. I guess they magically sold 5 of them without anyone ever knowing anything about it until almost 2 weeks later. Whatever. I knew that's the story I'd get IF I ever got a response...but it's funny that my mom and I both asked over and over and over for 2 days and nobody knew anything at all.
  24. Darn, I so wanted to find a good deal on a laptop but not with Gateway. We have gateway desktops at work and they are horrible. We have had a motherboard crash (under warranty still thankfully), and had 2 hard drives crash and burn (out of warranty so we had to pay for replacement on them).
  25. Dumb on Walmart's part. They could lose money that way if people make them honor the correct price guarantee. (if an item does not ring up the correct price you get $3 off that item or get 1 item free if the item is under $3). So people could end up getting the stuff even cheaper than the sale price. Of course, WM certainly doesn't OFFER the price guarantee...you have to drag it out of them like pulling teeth. But smart consumers can beat them at their little game.
