  1. My DG finally went to 75% off the other day also. Got those 8 ft. yard inflatables that were $20 each for $5! Also got the 4 ft. motion inflatables for $6.25 (reg. 25). And a 6 foot spiral tree for $3.75. I ended up spending $61 (some for me and some for a friend) all on Christmas stuff..but it was regular $245!!
  2. Thanks for taking the time to check for me. Well, if they actually don't go to 75% off on Christmas stuff it's not a huge deal...like I said..not like I really NEED anymore. Just hoping! LOL!
  3. well, I'm about to decide the like keeping the Christmas stuff at Dollar General. They are still only 50% and have a LOT of Christmas stuff left. They have a lot of the yard inflatables at my store...that's why I keep checking and waiting for them to go down to 75% off...because I don't really NEED them. LOL
  4. I'm not sure you can stack coupons for the same amount...ex. 2 of the $10/$50 coupons...even though they are from different sources. At least, I've never tried that...I just stack all the different amount ones and have no problem with that at my CVS.
  5. There's even 2 of em..one for each hand. Never spill either of your beers while you are putting baby in the cocoon with these handy dandy beer holders.
  6. I will not break out the Macy's Card..I will NOT break out the Macy's card...I will NOT..... LOL! (I put the card away after I paid off the balance and it needs to stay put away!)
  7. I'm still waiting for a $50 rebate on my Razr phone that I sent in back in EARLY November. I don't figure either of the 2 Christmas item rebates I sent in will be here before the end of Feb. at least. They aren't kidding when they say 6-8 weeks. Some of them have even moved it to 8-12 weeks so you wait that much longer.
  8. Apparently WM caught on and realized these weren't supposed to be on clearance because I was telling my mom about it and she went in to the store today to get one but they are ringing up $98.88 again.
  9. I keep checking my DG daily and they are still at 50% on Xmas stuff...anyone know when they will go to 75% off?? Got my eye on a few things that I don't really need..but if they are still there when the go to 75% I'll get em. LOL! My store manager didn't know...said they hadn't been notified yet.
  10. mehuman first posted this find on the Day After Christmas @ Walmart thread...so I can't take credit...but it's a really good deal. Walmart has the Homedics Therapist Select Shiatsu Massaging Cushion on clearance for $24.72 (75% off of $98.88). Both stores I went to didn't have them marked as clearance in any way....so you just have to get one and scan it to make sure...but at both stores they were ringing up $24.72....for a $76 savings! :)
  11. The manager at our local Dollar General had to pull the lights too. They wouldn't let them sell them at clearance prices. Weird since other stuff is all clearanced.
  12. my walgreens was still only 50% today so I don't think they'll go 90% tomorrow..but maybe 75%!!!
  13. DS got one this year (WM Black Friday one) and so far has had no problems with it. Maybe you just got one that was defective.
  14. I can understand that completely...what doesn't make sense is that they would open the games before they gave you a value and you agreed to allow the trade/credit to take place. They should inform a person of the trade value before breaking any sealed games. Upon an agreement to trade, then they can break the seal and check the contents, etc before actually completing the transaction. Breaking the seal before giving a trade value was wrong.
  15. If you can't get the store/store manager to make things right here's the contact info from their website: Store Issues If you have an issue with a store, please contact the GameStop.com Customer Service Center at 1-800-883-8895. At the menu press 4 to be directed to Store Issues. They will be able to assist you with any issue you may have regarding stores. Hours of operation: Open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (CST); Saturday - Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (CST) .
  16. call the company and complain...they owe you two brand new sealed games since the guy in the store broke the seal so you can't return them to the original store you purchased them from. Did you speak to a manager at the GS?? If a store manager doesn't replace them or give full credit then call the corporate offices and complain...LOUDLY. That's ridiculous. He didn't need to break the seal on BRAND NEW games...they obviously haven't been used...they weren't ever opened!
  17. I am not sure about the freezing up problem..but I got my 3 yr. old niece the Easy Link for Christmas. While the Elmo site was loading, she would touch all the different keys on the top of their heads. Of course, when she touched Elmo (who was in the play slot) it would reset the game and it would have to start downloading it all over again. So if your child touches the figures at all while they are in the play slot (and it's kind of hard for younger children to not touch those since they are so fun looking) it has to start over with whatever game you are playing.
  18. No real misses here. Hits: Wii/Guitar Hero 3 (DS 14) Ipod Nano/Digital Camera (DD 12) and surprisingly they both really like the Rubik's Revolution and Deal Or No Deal Handheld Games I got at Walgreens with coupons! My 3 year old niece made sure everything was a hit...every present she would open she would jump up and down yelling "that's just what I wanted!" Even if she had no idea what the present actually was! LOL!
  19. Dontcha hate it when you find a product you really like then they stop making it or you can't find it anywhere??? I don't know where you can find Stain Out...but if you can't find it, I've been having REALLY good luck with Shout Gel Advanced for Set In Stains...and it actually does remove stains that have already been washed/dried. Anyway...just thought if you can't find the stain out you might try the Shout Advanced. Good luck with your search though. I went to 6 different stores today to try to find Static Guard and NOBODY had it...3 small town grocery stores/2 Dollar Generals/1 Family Dollar....and NO Static Guard. Guess when I get to WM this weekend I'll have to stock up!
  20. Just to offer a flipside view...I use blockbuster.com and love it. Have had the membership for a few years now so I still have the membership that gives us 2 coupons each month for either free movie or game rentals in store. This works GREAT for DS to use to rent video games. Also, with Blockbuster you can take the movies in to the local store and trade them in for a free in store rental. They drop them in the mail and as soon as the warehouse receives them you get more sent out to you...even if you still have movies from the store. So you can double up on movie rentals if you want to. I don't do that so much because our "local" blockbuster is 30 miles away...but I do sometimes swap online rentals for older--not due back in 2 days movies. And DS LOVES the game rentals. I don't think Blockbuster is still offering the free coupons to new customers though. Oh, and I have lost a blockbuster movie...completely my fault..I just lost it somehow. I just went online and notified them about it being lost and fully expected them to charge me for the movie. They never did...just took it out of my "have" list and sent me the next one on the list. No problems for me with Blockbuster! :)
  21. awesome!! WTG Home Depot for great customer service! :)
  22. Thanks to CVS I'm well stocked on all batteries. :) Normally we use rechargables also..but when I can get others for free or pennies...might as well stock up. Merry Christmas everyone!
  23. A few weeks ago we went into Michaels in Fort Worth and they had some of the upside down trees all decorated. While the decorations were nice..the tree just looked sooo weird!! Apparently that's the new thing...but I'd really be concerned about it getting top heavy and tumping over.
  24. http://www.walgreens.com/hotbuys/default.jsp?ban=bil_flh_holiday/holidayshop/default (borrowed from the link in offline hot deals thread). Walgreen's coupon for electronic rubik's cube on sale for 9.99. Limit two. (I'm assuming this is rubik's revolution). Anyway...you have to print out and have the coupon to get the 9.99 sale price. :)
