I was wondering about it as well. I really want a projector because I am a huge movie buff and would love watching movies on a screen. I think if I really commit to getting one though I might go to circuit city instead because they give you a 92 inch screen for free with their projector.

I would Recommend going around midnight or earlier. The items you want are probably easy to get if you go early. Its always better to go early, wait longer, and get everything than going a little later and getting only one thing you wanted. Pittsburgh is a pretty big city too, so I would go late thanksgiving night, and bring some family/friends to help you get everything you need. Tell each person to get a certain item you want. If you go by yourself you might not get everything.

Did anyone else get a "10% off anything in the store" coupon? I got the reward zone coupon in the mail, and its good till the end of november....so I'm bringing it on black friday.

Well yea, 10 hours seems pretty extensive. What happened to me was a couple people just behind me didnt get them. If someone shows up who hasnt been there all night asks you to sell it, go for it. I guess I meant if people who were generally there around the same time you were. If someone was 10 people behind me and didnt get a ticket, I would just give it to em.

I was up front last year, and didnt want any of the ticketed items, but I was confused and got a ticket for a computer or something. Someone was asking 50 dollars for a ticket. I didnt feel like exploiting them so I gave it to them for free. I personally think its wrong to sell them. Just be generous and give it to someone who needs it.

Where I live, last year I got to best buy around midnight. The line started at the door. I was about 1/3 a way on the side of the building. When the time came to hand out the tickets for the good deals (emachines, stuff like that), they stopped handing them out about a 10 people after me. I didnt need a ticket though, so I gave it to someone who needed it. I live in st pete florida, which is right across the bay from Tampa. Its a pretty big city, and there are only 2 best buys in the whole county. If that sounds like what you have to deal with, I'd get there around midnight too.

Bring someone with you to hold your spot in line. With luck, a 24 hour drug store or something will be within walking distance from the store you're in line for. Thats what I did last year. I just walked to a nearby cvs while my girlfriend held the spot.

I usually always bring the ads with me. I go all out with waiting through the night. Last year, me, my gf, and my friend showed up at best buy around midnight. We were around 50. My friend brought his tv, I brought the extension cord, dvd player and movies. We found an outlet, and basically watched war of the worlds and a couple episodes of the simpsons in the best buy parking lot. Once 5am came around and some of the staff came out telling us the rules, me and my friend packed all of our stuff up in his car while my gf held our spot. As for money, I just brought my wallet and debit card. I wasnt even there for anything huge. I just got the 3 seasons of 24, and a couple movies. I recommend the tv idea. The time goes by fast. I remember everyone around us last year wish they thought of it.
