I worked retail a couple of years as seasonal help and we always shopped on our breaks. We couldn't purchase until we punched out for the day, but we were allowed to hold our purchases at the customer service desk until the end of our shift. If it wasn't claimed by the end of the night, it went back to the floor. My GREAT finds today were: -Pair of boys jeans (Wrangler) for $3.98 -Pair of boys jeans (Cherokee) for $3.48 I have son who is just tearing through pants and jeans this year, so I am all about the deals

I was in Target today shopping (12/7) and didn't see anything..no signs, nada.

Anyone get their 20% cash back from Paypal yet? I was shocked, but I got mine from my Barnes and Noble purchase last night! I didn't expect the money until at least January

The only B&M ones I knew of closed up shop already. I thought they all did? Anyways, they never had the sale stuff anyways, so it wasn't worth the drive to even try. I don't even bother looking at them online.

I've never had an issue with them, but do keep copies of whatever you send them since my experience has been that you'll get your rebate at almost exactly the end of the time they say you will. So if they say 6-8wks for a rebate, you'll more than likely get it at 7wks and 6 days. I haven't ever gotten one, but keeping copies makes me feel better if I had to call and argue with them.

I bought a Kawasaki portable DVD player from Target that worked for about a half hour. Thankfully I had opened it and used it for my toddler before Christmas, because I was able to return it before Target's terrible return policy kicked in. Well, I took it back and got another one and it did the SAME THING! I returned it to a completely different Target too! So, I finally just took the cash back and bought some off brand cheap piece of garbage from Wal-Mart a few months later for like $50 and it still works 2 years later

Nope, slept in and the hubbby and I are on our way out the door to breakfast.

The ad that I got in the little paper was different than the one I got in my Sunday paper, and the posts from dpcw are right on with the ad I got that is for BF. If I recall from last year, the little building kits for kids (birdhouses and stuff) went so fast! My son would have loved those, but I can never get my hands on one!

Um holy cow! I am at work and just checked this thread again. I got the ad in my little small town rag they hook to everyone's mailbox, nothing sneaky about it I am at work now, but can scan it tonight when I get home. I have a super crappy scanner, so don't expect much.

The ad I got in the paper today says at the top: After Thanksgiving Sale! Huge 5 Hour Sale, Doors open at 6am Friday If this isn't the BF ad, I am not sure what days it is good for. It's has a $15 DVD player, an $18 mp3 player, some $2.99 Barbies....

Love the FP Bounce and Spin Zebra in the BF ad at the regular everyday price. That's a way to draw em in.

Wow, all that hype for this? I feel an enormous sense of letdown. No wonder they were guarding it so closely, it sucks. All I want is a deal on the FP Bounce and Spin Zebra, and they put it in their ad with their everyday price!

Probably the best looking ad I've seen, and very local to me!!! I think my one and only stop this coming BF just might be Meijer (and a pit stop at Walgreens if I think of it). The kid's kitchen for $20 is a great deal. I bought it for $40 a few months ago for my son and he loves it, and for a lower priced toy, it's pretty sturdy with a 15 month old banging on it over and over again.

I have felt BF dying slowly over the past few years. I can remember camping out in front of Circuit City just antsy with anticipation. I haven't seen any "I must get this" level of deals for the past 3 years or so. I still look, just in case, but more often than not, I would rather sleep in...especially since I can get a better deal just watching the forums here and not fight the crazies.

Sounds like they did the same things to the stores that they did for the "12 Deals of Christmas". The people at the TRU I shop at were furious since thousands of emails would go out about these sales and they got no extra product to help with the crowds of people coming in. People aren't going to buy something else if they are mad that what they came for isn't there! You have to actually have the loss leader there for that whole system to work
