  1. I have heard from some friends that they have found Under Armour at TJ Maxx and the like (Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory), so I am going to give it a check too. My son also asked for UA stuff for Christmas just this past weekend and I am finding that what a PP said is true, most discount coupons I've seen for sporting goods stores excludes their stuff. I am looking for boys large and not coming up with much, not even with regular prices!
  2. I decided to go to the "small" WalMart by me instead of the Super WalMart and thought it wouldn't be so bad, big mistake! People were crazy!! The sheets, towels and kids stuff was just jam packed by each other and I thought someone was gonna get trampled. I guess we take our cheap socks and underwear serious 'round these parts! I left Walmart with everything I wanted minus a package of socks for my daughter. Came home and got a couple of hours of sleep and hit up Meijer for the 4am door busters. It was such a world of difference!! People were just milling around and they had a line set up for people trying to get the big ticket items. A few minutes before 4, the staff started rolling out big carts of the misc other stuff like toys and whatever and people were just calmly putting things in their carts. I wasn't out for anything big this year, but i was happy that I did get what I was going for! Oddly enough the best thing I bought was this morning when I woke up and checked in here and saw in the Online Deals that I could get Harry Potter Deathly Hallows from Best Buy cheap with free shipping. Those were on my list for my son and I had some rainchecks for Target, but the BB price today was better than Target!
  3. Not terrible, but still uncalled for: http://www.mlive.com/business/west-michigan/index.ssf/2011/11/black_friday_watch_2011_insane.html A toddler got stepped on in the waffle maker rush.
  4. In March I picked up a Canon t1i for 30% off. Just about every store was phasing out the old and bringing in the new. It was by far the best deal I had seen on it and I had been watching for a good price drop for quite some time. If you can hold out, I would hold out. I know that Target and Meijer were both dropping prices like crazy and I was watching the forums here and when I saw a good in store clearance post, I raced out and picked it up stat!
  5. Puffer jackets for 2 of my kids for a touch over $30 because of tax. Love it!!!
  6. I have been looking for a good price on oversized bath towels, so I was all excited to see "The Big One" on sale, only to read that they aren't really all that big. Hmpf.
  7. I bought a Keurig last year for myself for Mother's Day and I love it. I don't drink much coffee during the week, but I do enjoy it on the weekends, so I don't use it as often as some people probably do. I bought it from Sam's Club and it came with a water filter and I think about 72 cups. We filter all of our water here anyways, so the extra filter was a nice touch for us. I will say that you should make sure to use as "clean" of water as you can in it because it will build up in there. We use it a lot for instant hot water to make hot cocoa for the kids, ramen noodles, jello, hot tea...My husband teases me all the time about my $140 ramen noodle maker
  8. I bought the waffle iron and sent in for my rebate right away. I got the rebate check in the mail yesterday. The rebate form said it would be a Kohl's shopping voucher (or some similar wording) and it was a regular $10 check, so I was thrilled with that!
  9. At WalMart the cashier fat fingered the amount tendered when I handed her my money and she looked like she was going to bust into tears trying to figure out my change with a huge line of people behind me. She tried a couple of times, but the pressure of the line was just too much and she was WAY off, like $20 too high. I took my iTouch out of my purse and said, "here's a calculator, I'll help you figure it out" and she looked so relieved. I told her I wasn't out to jack up her drawer or bring more stress into her life :)
  10. I wasn't looking for anything "hot" from Toys R Us, so I planned to get there a bit later anyways, but at 10pm, it was absolutely out of control. They were only letting in 50 people at a time to "keep the lines down", which was an absolute joke. It took 2 hours to get in the store, and another hour to check out. I usually skip TRU all together and now I remember why. Walmart, other than looking just as trashed as it always is, they had pretty much everything I wanted except for the waffle maker. Target REALLY let me down this year. Totally disorganized and the lines were snaking circles around the store. Typically they are one of the best in this area for being organized and they just couldn't handle it. Kohls was a breeze, in and out in less than 30 minutes. Spent way more time waiting in lines to check out than ever. I am seriously thinking that next year might be an online Black Friday for me. I am so over the crowds and chaos.
  11. Nothing that blows me away. My 4yr old is begging for a Bop It, but I doubt that anyone is camping overnight for one :) It's good to see, I'm excited to see it, but just not blown away.
  12. Don't hate me, but I got a cobalt blue one from Amazon a couple of years ago for $114.99 (I just checked my order history to get that number!). Needless to say, it was a price I couldn't refuse and we absolutely love it.
  13. I've seen them at Kohl's slightly cheaper with a Kohl's charge, but we don't have any credit cards (Dave Ramsey followers), so that isn't really an option for us. I'll hold out a few more days for the Walgreens Black Friday ad! That would be amazing to snag a deal like that! Thanks!
  14. I have 2 kids who are BEGGING for Pillow Pets this year and I was wondering if anyone thinks I'll be able to beat $15 each for them? I see them at Rite Aid for $19.99 and I figure I can use a $5 off coupon for them. Should I hold out? Or just pick them up?
  15. I picked these up a few weeks ago and they seemed to take forever to get here. I think they shipped from Singapore though! It was nice to have ones that actually fit in the slot on the DS Lite, unlike the ones you buy at the stores now that say they fit, but they don't.
  16. The red was still $4.99 so I snagged it! I clicked on the blue and black first...
  17. Saved a copy, just in case Thanks Brad!
  18. I'll agree with JLEGZ883. The days "of Christmas" with TRU are way better than the BF sales!! I am a sucker though and will go back again if they do $10 cases of diapers
  19. Last year I wasn't pregnant, but I was nursing , which made for an interesting morning. Somewhere in between stores, I found the time to use my pump and get the "necessities" out of the way. I wouldn't have had a problem going out pregnant though since the stores around here were great about keeping things under control.
  20. Year before last I walked into TRU shortly after they opened, found the 2 things I wanted and walked right back out when I saw well over 100 people in line. Last year I actually waited it out in line since it was my last stop of the morning and all I was getting was cases of diapers.
  21. I bought the Pizza Party Elmo on clearance about a month ago for $5 at Walmart.
  22. I bought a bundle from Circuit City for $129 that was the special edition Pokemon one with a free Sonic game. I thought it was kinda lame that it didn't come with a Pokemon game, but whatever. I figured for the system and a game, it was a pretty decent deal.
