$10 Diapers
in 2008
I went to TRU today for the very first time on Black Friday because they had cases of diapers for $10 . I was the only person in line without toys! -
I had no problems picking up ANY DVD's! The only kink was that the Kung Fu Panda DVD was in a rack with $20 DVD's instead of the rest of the $9 ones. A quick trip to the price scanner let me know I was on track.
-
Everything I got rang up fine (then again, I hit the price scanner first!), but a woman in front of me had a hoodie that was pictured right in the ad that rang up wrong. The clerk gave her some crap about it and she told him just to keep it.
-
The Thanksgiving ad isn't valid in the 2 stores that are close to me. I wonder why????
-
I am super pumped about some of these DVD's, they are going to be nice gifts for neighbors and other people we don't go crazy buying for.
I am also thinking that the Little Tykes digital camera for $20 is a must. I have a 6yr old and a 2yr old, and they'll have a blast with it. LT website shows it for $45.
The best part is that I know that they'll have stuff when I get there! YAY!

My 6yr old and his daddy play Super Smash Brothers all the time and LOVE it. I only wish I could have held out for the $26 price tag. We paid $50 a few weeks ago at WalMart.
-
The buy back on my soon to be retired from use cell phone is actually not too bad. They'll buy it back for $23 and they aren't really selling for much on eBay at all.
-
The one in Grand Rapids, MI is closing as well
-
Last time I went to Walgreens, I got a catalina coupon that was for a $25 gift card for a transfer prescription.
Also, if you have a Meijers nearby, they do some free prescriptions for certain antiobiotics.

Nothing all that great in Kentwood, MI. One small shelf of 90% Christmas things, a few aisles of 30% off toys with nothing worth grabbing...the best finds were in the kids clothing clearance. I found Hanes sweatpants for my son (infant/toddler section) for 98cents per piece!
-
I called and apparently the error was because I submitted receipts from 2 stores, so they got entered as 2 rebates. The rep quickly fixed it while I was on the phone with her and told me that I'll get the $5 rebate card in about 4 weeks.
-
I am going to call tomorrow and see. I found another website (gotta love Google) of people who were complaining about Hasbro rebates and they posted a phone number to call
-
Well, I got my Visa gift card for the Hasbro rebate and they only gave me the rebate for the Monopoly game ($3) and then I got a letter the next day saying it was limit one per household and that I wouldn't be getting the rebate on the Heroscape game ($5).
Not sure why I wouldn't be eligible since I submitted both on one form and in one envelope.
Of course when I try to email customer service it gives me an "instant answer" and tells me to call Wizards of the Coast.
It's only $5, but I spent a LOT of money on Heroscape stuff for my son this Christmas, so it bothers me

I went in today to my Target (Kentwood, MI) and they were FINALLY at 75% and I was able to snag my PEACE stocking holder for $7.49 (originally $29.99). I almost snagged it at 50% because I really needed a stocking holder for 5, but I held out and got the last one today!
-
My Target (Kentwood, MI) is still at 50% on Christmas clearance, but man do they have a LOT! It doesn't look like much has been bought at all.
They also have some nice markdowns on toys already. I am holding out a bit though, my son's birthday is January 11. I saw several toys already at 50% off even though the shelf signs say 30%
-
I went to 2 Wal-Marts this week and nobody has ever heard of these gift sets. I was bummed. Coupon still has time on it though, maybe I'll snag something on clearance later.
-
My coupon is gone, thanks for the interest!
-
That's strange. It's one coupon per item, not one coupon per store visit. Sounds like you had a wack cashierMy Target wouldn't let me buy two sets at once.
I tried going to Wal-mart because their gift set sounded better and my WM didn't have a single set and swore that they hadn't seen them come in. I am going to try Super WM sometime this week and see before going to Target.
-
If anyone wants these coupons, send me a PM and I'll mail them to you. I hate to see them get wasted because I know I won't be using them.
-
I am just so pleased with my Amazon deals this year. Granted, I only did one order and it only came to $26, but it was exactly what I needed to round out the gifts for my kids. My oldest (5yrs old) is going to love the Transformer stuff and the Power Ranger I got for him!
-
I picked up my 3pks of batteries on my way to work today. I saved $12!

In my newspaper yesterday there was a Walgreens ad insert as well as a full page ad in section A that had things not included on the full color insert.
The coupons that were in Section A not found in the insert are:
Walgreens batteries (8pk AA or AAA, 4pk C or D, 2pk 9volt) for $1.99, limit 3
Pepsi products (2 liters) 4/$3
I am all about the batteries
