Do you think those SD 1 GB cards will go fast? We plan on hitting another store first so may not be there until an hour or so after CC opens.

I don't think it's eithical to do this but that's just my opinion.

Any more updates on the BF ad for Staples?

Only 10.81% people waiting for Staples and most people waiting for Walmart and Best Buy. Good for me. Maybe all those people will be flooding those stores instead of crowding me at Staples.

According to the list CompUSA should be coming out with their ad anyday but I wasn't too impressed with last year's ad from them.

From another board it is rumored that the hardrive is a 300 IDE for $20.00 and the DVD Burner is IO Magic DVD Burner 16X for $9.99.

Last year it was 26 degrees in Nashville, TN. I'm hoping for warmer temps this year.

Any updates on Staples rumors? This is the store we always go to first. We are there when the door opens and we always get what we want. Hoping the HD and DVD internal writers rumors are true. We need to replace dying equipment on our computers.

It depends on where you are going. We like the Staples ad. Lots of FAR stuff. We get there one hour ahead of opening and have always gotten everything on our list.

I was there after spending 30 minutes at Staples. I had to get my camera. It was 75 dollars off a camera. I'm also getting a free $20 reward gift card because I spent $300.

Hobby Lobby rocks! There is always something good on sale. A couple of weeks ago they had their scrapbooking stuff 50 percent off.

Some of those here would envy temps at 40 degrees especially the yankees but if you are not used to it then I guess that is cold. Just bundle up in a couple of warm blankets and you'll be fine.

Why don't you use the stragedy of divide and conquer. You send someone else like your husband or boyfriend to one store and you hit the other. You just need to determine what is #1 on your list. What do you really want? Get that first and hope that other stuff is still there. Also, you need to find out opening hours of each place. Could be one starts an hour or so earlier.

I'm from Ruston, LA which is about 60 miles away but we'll be up in Tennessee. What stores do they have in the Shreveport area?

Who are they trying to fool? Office Max has the Canon A410 3.2MP Digital Camera (AR) for $249. You can get the same camera at Amazon.com for $139 and I think that includes free shipping since the item is over $25.00.
