  1. I was at Home Depot on Sawmill in Columbus, OH this AM. They were bringing out pallets of stuff. All marked for BF and shrink wrapped. You might be able to pop in to scope out the location of your items, as some were easy to tell behind the shrink wrap.
  2. No stacking at Justice. If they do 40% off entire store and also have extra % off clearance, that's the best you'll do. Had a discussion with some friends this week and we all agree that JBuck and Fun Cards ($25 off $50) are really NOT benefit. You can only use them on regularly priced merchandise. They had a great sale (for them) yesterday with add'l 10% Flash. That's the best I've seen on anything in that store. Sign up for emails and catch the Flash Sale when you can.
  3. Had some great service in my local store around back to school time. Took me a while to figure that is where I need to buy jeans for my long and skinny DS13. I should have bought some when they had in stock online, because we now have winter temps and he has no warm pants. Anyhoo, the girl in the store said they always have their best jeans sale for Christmas (and back-to-school) and hinted it could be BF. BUT right now, their stock of jeans in extended sizes is very low online. I keep checking. I'd settle for 26x32 but prefer 24x34 for him.
  4. The education discount doesn't seem to be much. On the main site it shows iMac starting at $1199. On the education site it shows it starting at $1149. I'm hoping someone could chime in with some idea of what might be offered on Friday based on past experience. We are looking at getting an iMac were going to shop 12/5 when DH could get some time to go with me. We may just have to decide what we want based on the web offerings now, without talking to someone in the store. He's a "PC" so I am by marriage. We were hoping for some decision help before we switch sides. I REALLY don't want to fight the crazies in the Apple store on BF.
  5. I was just there and didn't see anything different. It's 1:09 EST here. Maybe they turnover at midnight CST? Not staying up another hour.
  6. My WM last year had it in one of the big aisles on a pallet. It was not near the crafting area at all. It was a four sided pallet that had the machines and cartridges. I don't remember what time I arrived, but I was able to put it in my cart and load up on a few other items. They didn't uncrate/unwrap the electronics until 5AM. I had everything on my list (no electronics) and waited for the registers to open. Was out by 5:15. I would consider going during the day for "recon" to see if you can find out where they are. Then be there a couple of hours before the price is valid. BTW- Michaels has their great sale on ALL cartridges on Thursday eveninng.
  7. I've been on Wednesday night when they have "night owl" pricing. Got some great deals and added (at minimum) a 15% discount. Difference between that and most sale items on BF is Kohl's Cash, which is available that whole weekend. I closed down the store once and they were setting out for BF, with DoorBusters wrapped in plastic. They were also setting out signs on the clothing racks. I know they would have given me that price on the clothing had I asked, but didn't buy those items. DoorBusters weren't available that night, but I did "scope out" location so I was able to go right to where I wanted. I usually pick up clothing for the angel tree kids on BF. Pricing allows me to do a lot for them. Then I go back and buy fillers with the Kohl's Cash. I think some items are a HUGE deal on BF. But many you can get very close to those same prices during Night Owls and Early Birds with a 15%, 20%, or 30% coupon. Only difference might be absence of Kohl's Cash. My Kohl's has been outstanding the past few years. The manager walks the line with bottled water and the shoppers are all friendly.
  8. Bummer. Ordered on Thursday the 16th. My girls couldn't wait. They split the shipping 4 ways, but we maxed out, buying 4 dolls in one transaction. Guess I'll use the code for the outfits they'll get for Christmas.
  9. ETA- the black is available for store pickup, so you could save yourself $4 if you don't care about color. Raspberry and Aqua are not available in store.
  10. Just came here to post the Best Buy deal. I went through the Discover Card portal and will get 10% cashback. Also ordered Aqua and paid $3.99 to ship the FREE 4GB memory card. We still haven't made a decision on a camera, but saw this deal and ordered. Have 14 days from receiving to return and we'll "try" to not open the box until we get a chance to go into a store and play with the other options.
  11. Amazon has aqua and red for $155.99 and free Super Saver shipping. The grey one is $173.
  12. Thank you so much for the links. It at least points us in a direction. We had seen some good reviews, probably last summer. But I think things have changed since then and I can't find the reviews. We'll look seriously at the Kodak now. Now.... to find the best price....
  13. We are looking for a compact video recorder like a Flip. Must be HD. Is there an existing (and current) thread that discusses these? I couldn't find anything using search. Any ideas who will have the best deal? Thanks so much.
  14. Thanks. They were OEM on my conversion van, which ONLY has 18K miles in 3.5 years. Hate to buy 4 of a different brand when I can get away with 2 of the original, but waiting 2 weeks and only driving up to 35 mph until they come in is a PIA. Also weather getting ugly so have to only drive when necessary until they are replaced...did I say desparate??? Yep. I'm not a "tire" kinda girl but learning a lot now. Really wish we had a more "mainstream" brand to improve chances of someone having them in stock in my size. Only 3 retailers in my area carry the brand according to the Falken website- Discount Tire, Sears, NTB. One of them could only get them for passenger cars.
  15. Hmmm...well, I can't include the link that was in the original message I'm trying to quote, but it's a Garmin c340 and was listed at Amazon. I got this one last year at Circuit City on BF for about the same price. It was a very good deal then, as others had it for $20 - $40 more for BF. We've been happy. I downloaded some new voices and so far "Lee", my hunky Australian has steered me right, although DH has a preference for "Jill" and "Emily".
  16. So those of you in the know... Where does Falken fit in the "real" vs. "not real" tire debate? We are in desperate need of 2 front tires and they are backordered until at least 11/19. Maybe I should just buy 4 of a different brand that would be in stock and get er done now. Shouldn't really wait until BF, but if 11/19 is the best I can do, what's a couple of days, huh?
