Kiss the kids and hubby and take a nice long nap! If I can get my husband to go with me this year, maybe we'll grab a bite. This will be the first year since I don't know when which he'll be home on that day!

Ok, depends on the ads for me, but usually it's Walmart, especially since they do price matching. After that it's Kmart, unless they don't have what I want, by than I can usually get over to Circuit City before it opens. If I'm in CC and they are out of an item, I call their 800# while in the store and order for that price. From there I'll cruise over to Target, than maybe the mall, cruise into Toys R Us, but usually turn right around unless I have to get something from there because the amount of people and the lines in there are just way overwhelming. After that I check out Gamestop, than hop over to 5 Below, Old Navy and than Walgreens before checking back into Walmart for a more casual look through. I steer clear of Best Buy. If there is something in their ad that is a have to get, I'll check out Walmart's stock on it before even attempting BB. I just don't like waiting in the checkout line that long. I used to head over to Comp USA, but they closed. Oh, and sometime in there, usually right before heading home, I will go by Kohl's.

I just got approved for a credit card and if everything goes as planned should be in my pocket by Black Friday!

I am soooo ready for Black Friday, just for the fun of it all. My supervisor knew in January that I was taking the day off for it. I honestly can't say what I'm looking to get yet though. The kids haven't really given me a clue about what they want yet. I keep asking and just get the shrug. I'll figure it out by than hopefully! The younger two, who share a room, have asked for cable to be hooked into their room, told them I'd put it on their list for Santa. Maybe I'll pick up a new tv for them. They have one of our ancient ones that has their DVD player and Super NES hooked into it.

I purchased Guitar Hero II from Buy.com. If you use the Google checkout you get either $10 or $20 off. I think it's gone up since I purchased mine last week.

The DS lite is a little more compact, and correct me if I'm wrong, the light is supposed to be better. I went for the lite over the reg DS due to my childs small hands.

I don't have the patience to wait for a movie. I have the Blockbuster two out at a time plan and it's great. There have been times that I've gone in the same day I had rented them and gotten a different movie after having watched one. It's more expensive than some of the mail away plans, but I can rent far more movies this way.

Our layaway closed around 12/16. After this they took whatever was left and restocked it. They do this so that they can hopefully sell whatever was left in layaway, especially seasonal items and those on people's most wanted lists so they can keep up with their profit.

If you want a PS2 I'd go for a used one. Like a previous poster said, EBgames or Gamestop have them at a really good price. You can also buy an extended warranty. Within the next year besides the XBox 360, which is already out, there will be the new PS3 and Nintento Revolution consoles and you will be kicking yourself in the butt for buying a new PS2 when you see it's price drop.

Before I logged on I was looking at my tree and noticed that the "cool" ornaments are now bunched all together compliments of my children. Our dog and cat don't bother the tree at all, in fact once the tree goes up, it's hard to get my cat from under the tree, it's her favorite spot to lay. I remember one year I was on the phone with my parents when from their end I heard a big crash and than my dad laughing like crazy. Their cat had knocked the tree over! Now if it had been one of my kids doing that he wouldn't have thought it so funny.

I ended up getting her the see-thru purple one. If she was seriously into games I'd get her an SP, but she's not that into them, at least not yet. This was pretty much a last minute item. I had gotten her a game from Kmart on Thanksgiving Day not thinking that she had just the GB color, not the advance.

I am looking for a new or used fushia/pink gameboy advance system. Not the SP, but the original gameboy advance. I have checked Amazon, Sears, Best Buy, Circuit City, my Kmart, called around to local Ebgames and Gametop stores and have had no luck. I'm not looking for any other color, just the Fushia/Pink one. I'd say 1 %. Bought my oldest daughter a shirt, a pair of jeans, and a football jersey and my son an ACDC sweatshirt. That's it for clothes. The younger two are getting toys, toys, toys

Take a look at Shopzilla.com, they were able to pull up quite a few and at reasonable prices.

Our Walmart's normal hours are 7-11. Starting Sat they went to 24 hours until the 23rd, with layaway being open until midnight. I went there last night to pick up mine at 11pm and there was only one person ahead of me. I was sooooo happy!!!

With hubby overseas, me saving up vacation days for when he gets back and our folks about 900 miles away, the kids and I are going to stay home for the holidays. We're going to do what we did last year; open presents, play with them, go to the Chinese buffet than to the movies. This year I think we'll see The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. We did this for the first time last year and I couldn't believe what a relaxing day it was! Completely stress free. No cooking, no cleaning, just enjoying time with the kids. It was wonderful!

Santa doesn't come until all the kids are in bed so of course it's on Christmas morning!
