It usually goes to 75% shortly after July 4th. Two years ago I was able to get some things for 75% off, but last year, everything was gone. Best to watch, and if things are low at 50% off, get it.

I live in Iowa and will check the Kohl's here this weekend.

There were 3-4 of the Penguin and a couple of the tiger Photokinz at the Waterloo, Iowa Target store yesterday. They were in the toy section this time.

It took about 3 months for me to get my DVD's, but they did finally arrive! I agree, it is a good dvd player, and since I got 5 DVD's free and only paid $100, I don't figure I'm out anything.

Might be worth checking BM too. I was at Walmart last night and they had this for $7. The extra charachters were $1.

Towels, sheets,comforter sets were 75% off today. GB still 50%. Found one of the Disney puzzles, rang up item not found. They called the store manager who came up with a number and price of $32.xx. Obviously left without it.

I wanted to buy a Hoover floor cleaner once and it was the floor model. They would not sell it to me--said it was against store policy. I went in two different days and asked 3 different people. No go. About 2 weeks later, I went into the store, and the floor cleaner was on the endcap, marked down for much less than I was originally going to pay for it! Keep an eye out, at least at our store, it usually appears on an endcap on clearance soon.

Anyone have any idea when the GB goes to 75%?

The Target ad today shows the GB at 50% off. It went 50% off at my Target last Thursday. so I'm hoping for 75% sometime this week.

Picked up the "green" microwave for our familyroom and one for my mom yesterday for $16.24. I had purchased the buffet at 50% off for $34.98 because they only had 2 left. Yesterday, they had a stack of them marked $17.48. THey wouldn't do a PM, so I purchased another one and will take the first one back. Picked up an extra for a Christmas gift. Video chairs were marked down to 19.98, which was 50% off. There were some towels marked 50% off.

I was at Target last week and they were marking some of the camping items 75% off. They had a few toys--nothing worth noting, but had a stack of old baseball cards and golf trading cards. The red sticker was marked at 30% off, but the whole stack was with the 75% items and the sign read 75% off. (These were the same boxes that were 30% off during the big toy markdown at 75% last month.) Anyway, I asked one of the people on the markdown team if the cards were also 75% off. She picked one up and it scanned full price. I told her I know they've been 30% off since January. She took all the boxes, said then it must be a mistake and tore all of the red stickers off! She was so rude! I had my GD with me so just let it go. Very frustrating especially considering I was purchasing 4 video games, and a Blu-Ray dvd player. Wasn't like I was trying to get something for nothing. I'm envious of those of you who have helpful people on the mark down team. The ones in my store are always rude.

Our Lowes had them marked 50% off this weekend. Might be worth checking if you have one close. We purchased the entire kit to convert our downstairs fireplace to gas.

Wii Playground is also lots of fun!

With this being the law in RI, I can see a lot of rebates stating, "Not valid in RI", simply because stores cannot stay in business long if they keep giving their items away free. And if the store has to apply for the rebate to get the reimbursement, we all know how long rebates can take.
