We've had just the opposite experience. We had Directv and had trouble with it going out--we went thru 3 recievers--switched to Dish Network and have had it for around 3years now with no problems and love it! Wouldn't be without a DVR. Whatever you choose, it's definitely better than cable.

Our Target has the Global Bazaar as 30% off. Does anyone have any idea how long it usually is until the markdown goes to 50 or 75% off? There are some items I would like to get but hate to get them when I know they will be reduced again.

Don't you just love it when you get a good deal like that? I went to our Lowes today and the Home Decor was 75% off. I got a wrought iron clock stand for $12.50. I've been admiring it for a while. Now i just need to figure out where to put it.

I found the girl's bike today for $17.48, but I didn't see any boy's. Unfortunately, it is the boy's bike I need. My Target also had the I pod lamp last week for $7.48. This week they are back to $14.98.

This would apply to clearance items. You can get some great deals. The last time they had this I was able to get a King Size comforter set regular $375 for around $35.

I just found out that my GS wants a Guitar Hero II for his birthday. Of course, I passed on these around Thanksgiving, having no idea he wanted one. Any ideas where to find the best deal on one of these?

Still 50% off at my Target this AM. Lots left. They were starting aisles of discounted toys 30% to 50% off.

Our Target is also still 50%. Does anyone know if the toys that are now 50% off typically go to 75% off the same time as the Christmas decorations?

I ordered the Creative MP3 player, went thru Google and received it ok, but there is also a $20 rebate. The problem is the rebate form says to include the original receipt, but when the box shipped, there was only a packing slip in it. What do I use for the original receipt? I emailed buy.com, but no response yet.

Is there a special code for the 30% off?
