  1. I was five months pregnant with twins last year on BF. We did Staples first because its empty and we just walked in and out. Being as far along as you will be, I'd say find THE one place and go there with someone..let them duke it out...people dont care if you're pg, they'll push you. You can then go hit the stores and do shopping on good deals that aren't "door breakers"
  2. I tried doing Staples.... couldn't find any of my rebates and wanted me to mail it all in....so much for hassle-free. I figure I'll give them a few days, then go bitch at my local Staples to find out what their problem is. *L*
  3. We went to Best Buy this morning. We only wanted the U2 CD and the Aladdin DVD, so we didn't bother to even show up til 7AM. We got what we wanted quite easily, but the line to check out... wrapped around the perimeter of the store...we guestimated it was a good 2 hour wait to check out.... we quickly left! *L*
  4. There's really nothing out there that I'm willing to stand in line for hours for. Plus my husband told me flat out, we can go shopping, but he does not want me involved in the hustle bustle of opening doors because of the babies. So I think this year we'll just go a bit early and just pick at what's left.
  5. Best Buy and Circuit City are madhouses. I really think Sears would be more of a madhouse than Radio Shack, but you never know.

Alot of this has to do with your location. When we'd do BF in Williamsburg, VA, you had to be there about 1.5 hours early and you were in good shape. In Frederick, MD, you have to be there 4 hours early, AT LEAST, to get in good shape.

  6. They usually give away the numbers for the big ticket things. Last year they were giving away numbers for computers, camcorders, a phone that was on sale, and some others. If you want these items, I'd get there the earlier the better. I was there an hour early and was lucky to get the laptop, as they only had 89 of them.
  7. Yes, they had papers with the item description and number on them, and they just came down the line.... all the "big" items (like the computers, phones, camcorders). It was nice because you knew as long as you had the piece of paper, you were going to get your item.
  8. What I'd really want they'll never BF them (timberland boots...my new obsession). Since we're trying not to spend any money because of the babies... the thing we're really looking for is cheap +R DVDs. I'm really hoping Staples does them again this year.
  9. Some stores you should call personally and ask. The year of the Great Furby there was a BF on Furbees at Montgomery Ward, but they were telling people to line up at the back entrance...if you didn't know about it and stood at the mall entrance, you were SOL.
