how much was the desktop?

I was always a fan of office max, but I havn't bought much there since they did away with MIR a year ago. I liked getting stuff free, but i agree that bf 2005 was a dud. I drove by after visiting best buy last year maybe 5:30am...nobody was in line for their 6:00 open. I didn't even go.

i spent an hour running around town to get a paper, finnally went to the newspaper office at 7am to get one with "all" the adds. they told me I should subscribe, then I get first dibs on the ads in the paper. I manage a c-store and we had 100 copies with NO chain-store ads for friday (like 3 total BF ads)...glad i'm not working today, our customers are going to be ticked!

yeah..my wife was after the 7' pre-lit tree for $20. Very few people, got in and out. I spent more tim*e finding a paper with adds, at 6 am...all the stores had papers with no.few BF adds..the paper didn't get enough to stuff

i got a 199 emachine 2 years ago and had both the motherboard and powersupply die this summer. cost about $140 to repair. wish it would have happened this month, i would just buy the new one, or at least have paid best buy the 39 for the warrenty, since they can't order emachine boards they would have give me $450 credit towards a new one. 2 years ago they also preinstalled a lot of the machines with norton and it was an extra $50, if you didn't want it you had to wait until later in the afternoon to pick up your computer. I felt that was pure bait and switch and told them so.
