I got one and so did my DIL. But I use my JCP card a lot.

I was so physically sick from the Compusa experience Thursday night, that I didn't even try Walmart. I might just go in the morning to see if anything is remaining.

I got mine a the store and installed it today. The installation was easy and it works great. Now if the rebate will hurry, I'll be really happy.

I went in a 5:15 for the 13 games table for $79. I had been in on Tuesday to scope out where the table was located and to see how many they had. There were 6 on Tuesday. When I got to the area where the table had been on Tuesday, it was not there. I stopped the first associate that I saw and he told me they were in the front. There were only two remaining. He put my name on one and I got in line. after 30 minutes in line a nice worker got the dolly and took it to my car. My grandson will be thrilled. My major complaint about Kohls is that the store is dirty. This is a new store which opened in October 2005, but they do not have a night cleaning crew and the store is always a mess. You can go at 8:00 a.m. and they is still stuff all over the floors. The linens department is especially bad. Someone, hopefully NOT me, is going to fall and sue the corporation of a gazillion bucks.

My son went to two Walmarts here and neither one knew about the computer. He even showed them the printout of the ad, but left both stores with NO computer.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm thinking of filing an ADA claim against the store.

The Compusa here is awful. My experience was terrifying and I'm writing a letter to their corporate office. It's not right.

I might consider one if I could use the iTunes software to load it.

This is the last year Walmart will be doing any type of layaway. They are ending all layaway programs forever in December.

No laptops here, and it was a brand new Walmart. We have another Walmart opening on Wednesday, so I'll check there.

My only problem with Kohls is that they don't clean their stores overnight and sometimes they are a mess for days. But their sales are really great.

8.25% here in South Texas. But, on the good side, Texas does NOT have an income tax.

Crissy, my son who worked in customer service at Kmart said they don't usually price match. I'm mad at them anyway. He got a much better full time job at a hotel, put in his letter of resignation with notice. The assistant manager there told him to "just get out right now" and she wasn't going to let him work his two weeks and would put him in the do not rehire file. He was working 38 hours a week, just under full time so they didn't have to pay benefits. Plus, he would have to clock out during dinner breaks, but was never allowed to leave, had to eat in the pizza area next to the service desk, and still answer the phone when it rang and help customers who walked up. But, he didn't get paid for the time. I know this is true, because I would bring him lunch sometimes. So he went 2 weeks without any pay. As to getting an iPod cheaply, there is a way to get 10% off on the Apple website. Go under the educator section, find a school in your neighborhood, and click on it. Then you will get educator pricing. You don't have to be an educator, just know a school. They never check. I know several people who have done this with no problem.

Last Christmas I bought my son a Lite-on. He has burned the hell out of everything in sight and it still works great. He took all those kids VHS tapes that were almost worn out and transferred to DVD and they look great. He uses the thing all the time with no problems.
