Crissy, my son who worked in customer service at Kmart said they don't usually price match. I'm mad at them anyway. He got a much better full time job at a hotel, put in his letter of resignation with notice. The assistant manager there told him to "just get out right now" and she wasn't going to let him work his two weeks and would put him in the do not rehire file. He was working 38 hours a week, just under full time so they didn't have to pay benefits. Plus, he would have to clock out during dinner breaks, but was never allowed to leave, had to eat in the pizza area next to the service desk, and still answer the phone when it rang and help customers who walked up. But, he didn't get paid for the time. I know this is true, because I would bring him lunch sometimes. So he went 2 weeks without any pay.
As to getting an iPod cheaply, there is a way to get 10% off on the Apple website. Go under the educator section, find a school in your neighborhood, and click on it. Then you will get educator pricing. You don't have to be an educator, just know a school. They never check. I know several people who have done this with no problem.
