Yeah I was at my local Gamestop/ebgames and there were literally hundreds of people on the pre-order list for this game. I'm guessing it's gonna be tough to find copies on store shelves.

I think you'd have an easier time getting Santa to land right on your front lawn Xmas morning with a PS3 then being able to find them at any stores. I've been calling around the Detroit area and most stores aren't getting them, and the few that are probably won't have too many to go around. If a store is suppose to get 10, how many of them do you think are truly going to hit the shelves if the employees can get them and re-sell on ebay.............

How did the Lik Sang thing end? I was looking a few months ago and stumbled across their site and thought about pre-ordering from them, but since it was in a foreign country I decided against it.

Yeah I heard back in August that they were no longer charger for their high speed service so I cancelled then. No problems what so ever. No cancellation fees or anything. I had purchased 2 laptops so I figured I saved about $45 each. Total cost for my laptop= $335 Can't beat that with a stick!

I hate it, hate it, hate it! My sister-in-law is probably the laziest person on the planet. Not only do my wife & I have to shop for the entire family, but if I want my kids to get something they want from their aunt then I'm probably going to be the one buying the gifts. This has been the case since my kids were born and it's not only for Xmas, but birthdays and any other special ocassions. I could understand it if she had a busy schedule or something, but she's a stay at home mom with kids that are at school during the day. It just bugs the hell out of me when I think about how much thought/effort goes into getting her kids what they want, and how little she puts into doing for my kids........

Yeah I'm kinda surprised we haven't seen any ads yet. Seems to me that the items for the ad have to be already in the warehouses and the actual ads at least in rough draft form somewhere???

Yeah I was in line last November when the Xbox360s were hitting the shelves. It was a nice orderly line the entire evening and looked like it was going to go real smooth. Well of course when it got close to opening time and the people at the end of the line realized they weren't going to get one, well then it was on. Several of them tried to make excuses why they needed to get in the store first and others flat out tried to cut. The good thing was that we had actually made numbers for every person in line (had to do something in line) and when the guy up front told the manager that we did that then he simply took us in the store first. Tensions were pretty high there for awhile and I already had 911 keyed in on my phone....

I orginally went solo the first few years, but last year year I had one of my students (senior/male) wanted to go camp out for a laptop for college so it worked out great. We were 7th/8th in line at CC and not only did we get our laptops, but he had a guy offer him $50 for his slip that he got for a desktop computer. He was gonna just give it to someone once the store opened, but instead sold the slip and helped pay for his computer. I think he's planning on going again this year! :)

Circuit City last BF was the worst!!!! I literally had to mail in over 20 different rebates, make copies of receipts & upc's, etc...... What a pain in the a** that was. Then when they came in I was trying to check them all off. Still don't know if I got all of them.....

Go home and open all the goodies that my wife and I bought for ourselves and take the rest to grandma's house so my kids won't find theirs!

Yeah Circuit City had some great deals last year. I'm hoping they roll out the great deals again. Although last BF it was about 17 degrees (about 0 with the windchill). Hoping for much warmer temps!

Well CC won't have the AOL deal because AOL broadband membership is free. I just found this out about 2 weeks ago, called AOL, and was able to terminate my 1 year subscription that wasn't up until the end of November. Now maybe they'll do the dialup deal, but my guess is they won't bother with that nightmare of having 40 people lined up to get registered on one POS terminal like last year. I'm hoping to get another laptop this year since my wife took over the other one....

I raided the local Staples and got all the great deals. I also took my Office Depot ad and they price matched the crayola 24 pack of crayons for .15
