  1. DEFINITELY! I already pre-ordered mine cuz that's all my son and his friends have been talking about. There are a ton of great games coming out for the wii between now and xmas. I would suggest going to gamestop and pre-ordering some of the titles now. Especially Mario Galaxy, Smash Brothers, and Mario & Sonic Olympic Games. Yes you'll pay full price, but it beats pulling your hair out and running around town trying to find them when they hit the shelves in Nov.
  2. I think the webkinz thing has died out quite a bit. 6 months ago it was hard to find them, but they're everywhere now.
  3. My son and all of his friends can't wait for Guitar Hero 3 to come out. It's going to be offered for the Wii this time around so I strongly suggest putting a deposit on it now at Gamestop cuz they're gonna be hard to find before Xmas.
  4. I do it all the time between Kmart, Target, Meijers, and Krogers. Krogers and Kmart will honor any Rx coupon so I usually use $20 rite aid coupons and go back and forth between them. In my opinion it's a win/win for both me and the store that fills my script. I actually make $ and I'm sure the store isn't losing out when they bill my insurance.
  5. Good call. Going to save me some bucks for tonight's dinner!!
  6. Agreed! The big problem is when 8 people suddenly appear 30 minutes before the tickets are handed out.
  7. hehe, yeah I noticed that after I posted it

LOL, I love all the holiday spirit being expressed in this thread! BB gun, taser, push in mob formation........... I've camped out in a few BF situation and for the Xbox 360 and have never had any problems. If you're planning on getting the tickets/vouchers then you need to be in line. PERIOD. If you're that close to the front then you need to establish relations to the people around you so when you need to go to the bathroom, get a coffee, whatever.... that you can leave the line for a few minutes and return without incident. But anybody who thinks they're gonna just magically show up and hop in line an hour before the store opens is nuts. I wouldn't allow it and I would definitely rally the other hundreds in line behind them and make sure they don't stay there.
  11. I don't get offended. If someone said happy Chanukah, happy solstice, happy romadan, I would simply reply by saying 'Same to you'. How anyone can be offended by someone extending a greeting of any kind is ridiculous? Now adays if someone can at least aknowledge your presence without a dirty look or a bad word we should be happy (sad but true) ..... Too much PC and not enough politiness and common sense. P.S.- Merry Christmas
  12. Yeah I went thru that nightmare last year!!! Don't do this! They had 1, yes 1, computer set up to register people for AOL last year and because every other CC in the country was using the same network to register people it kept locking up and crashing. I entered CC at 5am and didn't walk out the front door until almost 11am!!!!!! Believe me it's not worth it
  13. I'm guessing that if you've hit BB for the last 5-6 years on BF, then you've probably got so many tvs, computers, electronics, etc... that they would have to expand their product line to find something you don't have

Amen! Last year in the Detroit area it was close to 0 Farenheit with the windchill. We talked to the people around us and agreed to be cool (no pun intended) and allow each other to rotate in and out of the line to use the bathroom, go get coffee, warm up for a spell in the car, etc... The evening turned out great and everyone got what they wanted when the store opened. It's amazing how good things go when people use respect and common sense.
  15. Does someone have the link to the Gamer's Anonymous website
  16. Yeah I agree with what you're saying Wrangler, and hopefully the specs link that someone provided is of the LCD that BB is selling. If it is, then the resolution and response time are pretty darn good.
  17. Alot of cheapaholics and bargainaholics here too!
  18. Yes, yes, yes!!! I'm a big time gamer and I've been waiting for a big lcd to hit the market that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Guess I'll be in line now............
  19. I was 5th in line last year at CC and was too dumb to get tickets for every item! Of course about 5 minutes before the store opened and 1000+ people in line all wanting those items I could of made some cash. One guy walking to get in line offered me $50 for my laptop ticket. I don't think I'll actively go down the line selling the tickets cuz it might result in some violence, but if people approached me for them I would probably sell them. Or I might just see a nice person in the store and give them the ticket as a nice jesture and make their holiday.
  20. This is the official PS3 thread and you'll see all the talk about this crazy system! http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=29399
  21. Yeah that is kinda crappy. I got 18 months same as cash last year from CC. It would seem that if BB wanted people to spend tons they would have some kind of financing offer...
  22. Yes.... link please
  23. I don't think that will be an issue for two reasons: 1. There isn't the same value on the Wii since there will be so many more units available before Xmas. 2. After camping out for several days the PS3 dirtballs will need to shower/sleep/etc....
  24. Someone posted on a different thread that there are already 4 guys camping outside their local BB. There are rumors that there are some flaws with this first batch of PS3s. Best bet is to wait until spring to pick one up........
