  1. I went with a friend to Macy's today. Took my Macy's card and coupons they sent me. We were in the women's department in a small corner section. My friend said "Hey did u drop your discount cards to use with your Macy's card?"..nope I didn't I told her..I looked around and there was another woman shopping in the corner..I went over and asked if she had dropped them.."Yes, I did..thank you so much" and she had a armful of clothes ..
  2. Yes, I did but thanks for checking. I actually have a spare monitor that I'm going to ship to them so that will save me a few bucks.
  3. I'd like to get that desktop for $219 for my parents. Wonder if I can order it online? They live in Georgia and I'm in Washington State. Any idea if something like that will be available online? I don't think it's a doorbuster. Thanks!
  4. Just went to Target. Coupon will work but The Blu-Ray is $24.99 not $19.99. Terminator is that price.
  5. The coupon on that site looks like it is for Transformers. Is this right or can it be used for any Blu-Ray?
  6. Just checked and they have this set in Brown, Black and Charcoal (light grey). Great find OP!
  7. In case anyone was wondering what the specs of the Laptop are, I found them: HP G60-519WM Notebook: Intel Celeron 900 (2.2GHz, 1MB cache, 800MHz FSB) Windows 7 Home Premium 3072MB DDR2 System Memory 250GB(5400rpm) Hard Drive 802.11b/g WLAN LightScribe SuperMulti 8x DVD +-R/RW Drive w/Double Layer Support 15.6" Diagonal High-Definition HP BrightView display Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M with up to 1309MB total available memory 3 USB 2.0 Ports Not too shabby for a 3 g with a 250 and a good speed processor for $298..Walmart is right down the street from me..
  8. No Kmart near me but happy the ads are coming in..I love this time of year!
  9. Same here. added hard drive to cart, put in cc number and hour glassed for 5 mins and then an internal error. UGH!! well, site is now back up 3:30. got the 640GB HD with FREE Shipping and will be delivered on Tuesday! YES!
  10. 1st stop will be Staples for the Dell Desktop and the 640 GB WD hard drive, then over to Costco for the ITunes gift cards and (haven't seen this ad yet) to Fred Meyer for the annual sock sale. My parents love the socks at this place..LOL. Most everything else is already bought so I'll be home hopefully by 8 or 9.:)
  11. I agree with you. I'd love to find a $500 deal but I need more than 3gb and at least 500. I take lots of large JPEG pics and have lots of editing software. I might go over to Staples around 6 to see if they still have it. If it's still there, I'll grab it. If not, I'll wait until the first of the year.
  12. Hmm..so I guess this means no one is really interested in this deal. I guess everyone goes for cheaper laptops and desktops??:)
  13. So I'm seriously considering this Desktop since my needs upgrading. It's 3 years old and I need to increase both the HD and memory since I do a lot of photography. Is anyone else thinking of getting this? Is there any talk that this is a good deal? I'm trying to gauge interest in this to see if I might have to camp out or if I could go to the closest Staples (about 20 mins) and just walk in and get it fairly early - maybe around the time they open. I live in rural Seattle. Thoughts?
  14. I've been wondering about Fred Meyer as well. I've noticed a lot more gift sets out in the aisles over the last week. The sock sale is great and I never have a hard time getting what I want there.
  15. Thanks for the info Indy! I'll tell my boss she'll just have to get in line!! LOL
  16. For any of the Staples employees - If i go in and say buy a Dell Desktop that's in the ad for Black Friday say on Tuesday, can i go in on Friday and get it Price matched for the difference? Thanks!
  17. Thanks for posting! Pretty good ad and I see quite a few items I'd like. Can anyone tell me if the $699 Dell Desktop is out the door or if it has rebates? The bottom of the page with the specifics were cut off in the pic/scan. Thanks!:)
  18. Can anyone make out the details on the $379 laptop and the $599 desktop on the front page of the ad? I know that both say after XX instant but I'm sure they both have mail in rebates but was wondering how much. The light off the flash kind of obscured it..LOL. Good ad though..best so far from me and OD is only 5 miles from my house. I really might need a new desktop since mine just got infected with a worm off facebook!!
  19. Any idea of the price range on this Indy?? Any rebates?? My boss is looking to help her daughter find another laptop for one of her twins. They got the $298 deal at Walmart but it was one per person and her hubby wasn't with her that day. Thanks for any info you could give me. :)
  20. Had a friend come over this morning and we left my house at 5:15. Went down the hill (2 miles) to Frys..WHAT A ZOO!! She jumped out of the car, went inside to try and find the 9 inch digital picture frame. She said she got hit left and right with carts and that the line already 20 minutes after opening was all the way to the back of the store. Meanwhile, I couldn't find a single parking place in the Fry's lot or the new Lowe's next to it. I called her and she said "there is no way I'm waiting in this line." I went across the street and parked on the side of Staples next to Target. There were about 20 people in line for Staples and about 100 plus in front of us at Target. It was cold (28 degrees) so we were talking to people behind us to take our minds off the weather. We got in at 6:03. We grabbed the next to last 500 gig Western Digital Hard Drive. We grabbed a couple of the pillows they had on sale as well. Then I saw these flannel sheets that I had a raincheck for and had been waiting weeks to come in for $12.99.That was less than the raincheck so I grabbed them. Out the door at 6:30 and on to Radio Shack. My friend got a Zune from Buy.com last week and wanted the Zune Travel Pack. Line wasn't too bad. Sales lady met us at the door and said "Oh we are all out but we can order one for you and send it in about 4 days." My friend got in a line of 5 people only to find out that they were checking online and there were none left so that was a waste of time. I spoke to one of the sales guys there. He said they only had 1 Zune and 2 travel packs. Wow, way to be prepared Radio Shack. We went across to Joanns because my friend's mom and granny are into cardmaking and knitting. We got there about 7 and were out by 7:30. Went to Walgreens for a few of the buy 1, get 2 candles. No wait at all. Went to Sams which was absolutely DEAD!! Got a good parking spot. Walked in, got the Oster Wine opener, down comforter, checked out and got free breakfast within 20 minutes. They still had 10 Wii packs left..boy I was tempted but I kept walking. We then went to Fred Meyer where they have the famous, half price sock sale. Home by 10:45. All in all, no problems and now getting ready to take a nap!
  21. MDCRIM is correct. This deal is open to new AND existing customers. Existing customers only have to switch to a 2 year my Faves plan so that would work for you Jenn. I don't know if any of the dealers are offering this (sorry I didn't look at all the info they sent us). I do know if you want new service and sign up for a qualifying MyFaves individual or family plan you can get the promotion. Jenn just call customer service Friday and ask about switching to a MyFaves family plan. They will tell you if they can do that for you over the phone. If they can't, they will tell you to go to the closest T-Mobile store and will also tell you what to ask the sales rep for. I think though since you are an existing customer, they should be able to migrate you over to a MyFaves family plan and either send you the qualifying paperwork or email it to you.
  22. I was pretty much set on buying the TomTom 3rd edition at Staples until I read this thread. I went in yesterday to a new Staples that just opened 2 weeks ago very close to my house. I spoke to the manager and she said if I was in line by 5 I should get what I want for sure especialy if it's a GPS. Now reading through all the posts, I'm torn between the TomTom and the Navigon. I really like that the Navigon has TTS and the free traffic for life is a real plus but I know that the TomTom is thought of as a somewhat better model. I'm really torn as to which one to get now. Anyone have suggestions?
