  3. I dont know what you're looking @ but we have a classroom filled with the old lattitude c600 series on campus *STAY AWAY* from them.... they take a good 10 mins to boot windows xp pro. Also I'd @ dell new before getting a refurb. Dells trying to get rid of the 600m inventory b/c they replaced it so you can find a good deal. $799 gets you a Pentium M 1.70GHz, 60GB HD, 1GB RAM, CD/DVD-Burner coupon code XXWRNK8T7XVPBN

  6. well on campus here theres an apple store and you just have to be a student log into it and you can save 30 bucks off the video ipod 269 vs 299 they already have the discounted prices... just go to apple.com and look for an education link....also alot of companies have one hp, dell, etc http://www.apple.com/cgi-bin/routingpage.cgi?family=StopByStockUpSaveBig&cid=AOSA10000019928

  11. yea... i have a ati all in wonder vid card and record whatever show she can't watch or wants.. then use videora to convert it to an ipod friendly format for free which is nice considering its $1.99 a tv show... I'm real tempted to get rid of the old one for a new one also... lol
  12. I agree w/ the video ipod... bought one for my gf she loves it, I have the 4th gen 20gb and it looks large compared to the video one... if you can get student pricing its 269.99 + tax. Even if you can't $249 is the price for a 4gb nano vs 299 for a 30gb video ipod. $50 more gives you 7x the amount of storage.
