  1. This year I will get to wear my gottadeal t-shirt and jeans!:)
  2. Thanks for all the help! Those are definitely some good choices! Now, would it be better to buy one now or wait until after Thanksgiving and see if one of them goes cheaper? I like some of the ones on Target's website and the Kmart one looks nice too. The only problem with the Kmart one is that the nearest Kmart to me is almost 2 hours away. I don't think there is an IKEA anywhere near me.
  3. I would like to buy my 11 year old daughter a desk for Christmas. All of the furniture in her room is white, so I would like to find a white one. It doesn't need to be big, it would be for her to do homework on. I would like it to have drawers or hutch or some type of storage for paper, books, ect. She doesn't have a computer, so it doesn't need to be a computer desk. Does anyone know where I can get one online or in stores for a good price? I have found many other colors, just not white. I also don't want to spend much more than $100. Thanks for any help!
  4. I have bought a few things for the kids (all online). It is so hot here, I can't wait for the cold weather, so it will actually feel like Christmas is closer! My family thinks it's crazy to start Christmas shopping in September, which is when I start picking up things here and there! I personally like it better, so I don't have to go broke buying it all at once.
  5. Yep, we paid around $2400 for the Polaris Sportsman brand new. They do have special financing. Ours is only like 2% interest for the first 18 months, so we are doubling our notes so that we will pay it off by the end of the promotional period. Our note is 69.00 a month, but we pay almost double that monthly, so that we can get it paid off before the high interest rate kicks in.
  6. I second the Polaris. We bought our DS a Polaris Sportsman 90 for his 8th birthday. He loves it! We have had it over a year and have had no problems whatsoever. I like to ride on it myself! My DD11 also loves to drive it. We know lots of people in our town who bought the cheap $500 4-wheelers, and most all of them are broken and nobody around here works on them. Thats why we decided to spend the extra money and buy a name brand,
  7. I would LOOOVE it if they could bring back layaway. Even if it's just for the hoiday season. It helps out so much! I always put my Christmas on layaway and paid it as I could. It was so much easier. I also agree that the items should be in the right departments! I hate it when Wal-Mart has toys in sections other than the toy section, and DVD's next to the grocery section. At least try to keep items in the sections the belong in!
  8. Do not leave your cart unattended while you try to grab other items. Make sure someone is watching it for you, or try not to use one at all. People will take things out of your cart when you're not looking!
  9. I do about 90% of my kids Christmas online at Amazon. If you order $25 or more you can get the free super saver shipping. I know it's not as fun as going to the store, but it actually can be cheaper if you don't have to pay tax, and they don't see you buy it!
  10. I deserve this shirt because I am on here daily! I love this site!!!:)
  11. Add me to the list of people with 11 year old daughters! It definately gets harder to figure out what to buy as they get older. I asked my DD what she would like this year, and she said she wanted a camera, DS and Wii games, Camp Rock dvd and Camp Rock dolls, and that is all she could think of. I was thinking about getting her some real jewelry, like maybe a ring? My DD still plays with her barbies sometimes, but I'm not sure if I should buy anything barbie this year or not? Good luck with trying to figure out what to get, I will be in the same boat.:)
  12. Maybe you could take the extra one you bought on Ebay, and sell it on Ebay yourself. You may could get all or most of your money back that way.
  13. Hi, my name is Haley and I live in Louisiana. I have been married to my DH for 12 years, We have two children, Morgan (age 11) and Logan (age 9). I am currently a SAHM which I love. I love finding great deals on the internet, and love black friday!
  14. Thanks! I got Zach & Cody, Thrillville for Wii, and That's so Raven for gameboy advance all for around 25.00!
  15. They had them at our Wal-Mart. They were on top of a cardboard thing that held chips. I almost didn't see them.
  16. That's what I have done before when I ran out. They just asked me how many I needed and printed them for me. They won't have your address or anything, so you would have to fill that in. Some places won't take temporary checks, but I used them for bills and they took them fine.
  17. Definitely Wal-Mart online. They have the best prices I have found yet.
  18. Sears has the Mix Max players on sale for 19.88. They look really neat. It says the price is regularly 99.99, so this price looks like a steal! The link below is for the princess one, but if you look to the left you will see the other styles. If anyone has any reviews I'd love to hear them!:) http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_05723043000P
  19. Thanks so much! I ordered one and the total with shipping was 6.99. Great deal!!!
  20. www.myxer.com You do have to pay for a text message and download it, but a lot of the ringtones are free.
  21. If your order totals $49 or more use the code April for free shipping. :)
  22. I'm not very far from where you're from! I live in Quitman, which is between Ruston & Jonesboro. It takes me about 45 minutes to get to Monroe. It's pretty warm here already! I dread the hotter months!
  23. We got our Silver Dollar City tickets at reservebranson.com. They were great! It was two days for the price of one. I know they have some coupons at the hotels and welcome centers in Missouri for other places in Branson.
