  1. According to the info I read about this it starts 1/20 and will continue for 7 days or until stock of the items they are giving away is gone.
  2. I was checking out the $48 bistro set. Great deal until I checked the shipping which was $210!
  3. Usually, it is just my mom and me. She's the driver. I go in and grab everything while she makes a circuit of the parking lot. By the time she has gone around once, I am usually back out with the loot in the time we would have spent just finding a parking spot. This year, I think that will change. My friends have found out about my great deals and are saying they are going to block my driveway that morning unless I take them with me!
  4. We have the standard stores that are local: Lowes, Menards, Sears, Home Depot, Best Buy. I found a Tappen at Lowes, but have no idea how good it is. ANyone have any suggestions? Codes or discounts would be great also. Any help appreciated! I have never had a dishwarsher before, so I have absolutely no experience with them.
  5. I hit the 75% off section. I got 8 of the gel face masks at $1.50 each (jus waiting for christmas). I bought one for myself last year at BBW and paid $12.00.

  7. Does anyone have any current Quill coupon codes? I can use up to 5 on every order and I only have one that has not expired (NQT $20 off $100 order)
  8. Great deal! What city/state did you find this? Also what brand and thickness is it? Thanks!
  9. Beware the extended "Warranty" plans! We bought a large freestanding craftsman sander from Sears withthe extended warranty (WHAT A JOKE!) It went out within a year (still under the original warranty period). I called service and it took them 3 weeks to arrive and we live within 5 minutes of a full service Sears store. He took it apart and left it sitting in pieces spread out in our garage taking up 5 times as much space as originally. We were then told it was past the warranty one year when I called to as when they were coming back. It seems the one year expired while waiting for him to come back.We never saw anyone again. I told them we had the extended warranty and they said OK. It took 8 months of calls and yelling to get a replacement. To top it off, I had charged the original purchase to my Sears Card. They charged the repalcement to my CC. I refuded to pay it. After 2 years of arguments, they took me to court for an unpaid CC and now the court said I owe them $1800 for FC and late fees and nonpayment ( there was nothing else charged to the card ever). So my $450 sander cost me $2250, almost a year of no tool trying to get it replaced, and I still had the mess of the old one spread out throughout my workshop that they NEVER CAME BACK to repair!
  10. We not longer have kids in my family young enough for easter to be a big deal. BUt when we did, my grand mother would stock up on lots of small items. After we got our Easter baskets we would empty them except the grass and put them on her back porch outside. We would keep checking bak all day to see what the EB had dropped off when we weren't there. It was great fun for the kids and the adults had a great time all afternoon trying to get new stuff into the baskets without the kids seeing. As soon as one of the kids were to old for the Easter bunny they were recruited to fill the baskets, which kept the whole family included in the game. When my grandmother ran out of candy (or the adults got tired!), she would leave a note in the basket from the Easter Bunny say they had run out of candy and would see us next year. It was great fun all afternoon for everyone.
  11. I currently have a iPod shuffle (512). I have a chance to upgrade to a larger memory MP3, but it will have to be a Sandisk brand. Will the music I have for my iPod shuffle work with the Sandisk. I have heard that some are not compatable. I don't have much time to find out. I found a sale at an office supply store I use at work for $15 off a $75 purchase tht ends 2/28/07. If I use this with the gift certificate I have I can get a 1Gig Sandisk for $15, but it would be really dificult if I have to give up all my music files and start again. If I have to do that, I might was well wait for a good deal on a iPod.
  12. I hit our local Walmart just as their Christmas items went 75% off. They had 2 isles of bath and lotion gift sets that were $12 to $20, now at $2 to $3 (some were ringing up at even more than 75% off:D ) I grabbed about 20 of them. Every woman I know will be getting bath and lotion gift set for birthdays, christmas, whatever this year. I made sure I got one that were not "CHristmas" scents. They come in nice baskets and containers. Now all I have to do is open them up, get rid of any christmas packaging and regroup (to mix up the scents and make them more interesting). Now it looks like I went to a lot of trouble shopping arount for all of the product and container and it looks personalized because I put it together myself. No one needs to know that the gift they get that looks like I spent a lot of money on really only cost $1 or $2!
  13. I have used them for several years. I just had my account hijacked last month. Someone in Europe charged almost $700 and since I had my account linked to my checking:no: , it was taking it out of my checking account. PayPal caught it right away, but DID NOT FREEZE THE TRANSACTION, just the Pay Pal account. I had a HUGE mess with my bank and paypal. I ended up having to put stop payments on my checking account at MY COST. The bank said they couldn't do anything because it was hijacked through PayPal and not them. PayPal said they couldn't do any more than freeze my account (they refused to freeze the transaction even though they knew they were illegal) and I needed to talk to my bank as it was now in their court. PayPal also said it was MY FAULT. I should have used a better password and I should make sure it is a password that I only use at their site. I ended up having to change passwords 6 times to get the account reactiveated. I have to go thru their dispute system for both of the illegal charges on my account that they KNEW were illegal! It took over a month to get things corrected. And cost me another $70 in bank fees. I need a PayPal account to get many of my Survey payments, but I have learned my lesson. As of now, I no longer have any checking, credit or debit accounts listed for my PayPal account. They cannot steal what isn't there. When I need to transfer money, I enter my account info and as soon as the transaction is cleared, I delete it again.
  14. I don't think ours ever goes to 90% They still have a small clearance section near the bottle return with Halloween stuff!
  15. I just got back from the Meijer store in Muskegon, MI. Christmas is now 75% off and they still had LOTS of trees and the inflatable items for your yard.
  16. I got in on the Reboks that wer on sale for $9.99 last week. They would not ship to store at that price, but our local store did have it in stock. I went to our store and got them to give me the $9.99 price (they were $39.99 on sale) without ANY problems. I went back that evening to get a pair for my mother in another size that I knew they had in stock. I brought all of the paper work I had in the morning. The evening manager said that would not honor the ad. She said it must be a closeout. She checked the paperwork because it should have said if it was and couldn't find it marked anywhere as closeout, but still would not give it to me at the price. She said they can't make any money with that price. I told her I had talked to SC and that was why I brought the paperwork in. They told me it would be honored. She said sorry, but NO. I was not the first person to bring in an ad in the last few months according to her. I told her she had better have a talk with Corporate CS because when a customer is told they will get the price and goes to the effort of going to the store to get it, it is bad business for the store when they are turned down. It DEFINITLY depends on who you get wether you get the price if you go to the store!
  17. Jus got back from the Muskegon, Mi store. Still only 50% Why can't they go 75% along with Walmart accross the street!
  18. I talked to the managers at 2 different Walgreens in Muskegon MI today. They both told me that nothing wasw going to more than 50% off as far as the gift sets were concerned. but, one of them said the same thing yesterday about all of the christmas items and now everything but the gift sets are 75%. Maybe corporate will change their minds tomorrow!
  19. Both of ours were 75% as of today. The one had a tone of bath and lotion gift set left. There wasn't anything christmas about them! I bought a bunch of $9 to $15 gift sets for $2-$3 each! I've got gifts for every birthday and such for every woman I know for the entire year!! I had to call my grandmother to ask if I could store them in an unused upstairs bedroom because I don't have any room. She said that was fine, if she can buy one from me if she needs any!
  20. I have a quick question back to the Bath and Body WOrks. Are they accepting multiple coupons per order again? I would love it if they were. I know they stopped for a while and it has been a real pain.
  21. Have you tried to use this in store yet? Will they accept it?
  22. Both my mother and I have one and love them. A friend of mine bought one and her daughter usese it daily to make smoothies (much healthier than othre things a teen can eat).
