Too bad the pricing is geographic based.

Was this a flyer or in the regular newspaper part? I'm asking because there was a flyer in our paper and these prices are not!!! I need the pics pricing!!!

I have a good friend that works in the ad department at our Columbus Dispatch. I was complaining to him once about not getting all the ads. He told me it's all done by machine and based on weight, allowing for LOTS of errors. I used to call the paper and find out what ads were in which 'pass' and make them deliver new ones. I am finding that in order to cut costs a lot of retailers are going with the ones on the mail boxes. I didn't find my Meijers or Andersons ads until Saturday after BF. I kept wondering why I didn't get the Meijer ad! Missed out on some stuff too.

I wonder if this is one per person or could I order more than one but still shipping to the same address??? I'm thinking DD could order one for her BFF and I could order one for her - matching. I would use different CC of course.

Just placed an order for 10 belly rings for my 2 daughters. Less than $25 shipped - outstanding value. 1715 codes works for 15% off. Other for 20% is not valid.

I didn't camp out for any deals. Went there about 7am went to the back to look for the car stereo/speakers for my daugther. Guy came right up to us and asked us what we were looking for. I asked if they had anymore of the MIO gps as the display was empty. He went right to the back and got all the items. Went to a line (suggested by a friend also there at the time). It took about 40 minutes or so, which was long considering the # of people in the line. The checker was so slow - no sense of urgency at all. Now wishing I would have asked for the Zune - I probably could have gotten that too. Rumor has it you had to ask for items at check out and they would check stock and then you could buy it?! All in all an ok trip - not bad, not great.

Radio shack is terrible. Their flyer prices were only good in store and they wouldn't match the price online through customer service. Even though they have Zune's ready to ship online @ $150 (and they were few in the stores @ $99 with free case). I told them no wonder they are having problems, if they would care to service the customers they wouldn't have to close stores. I won't shop there again.

Went to Marshalls in Hilliard last night. Not much clearance left and what's there is in the 7-20.00 range. No real bargains. I did get a pair of designer sunglasses for $15.00. Didn't need them but couldn't pass them up. They are gearing up for a major designer buyout that starts today I think at some of the busiest stores.

In the past I have found clothing & accessories that fit AG dolls at Joann fabrics. You can use the coupons too. Also, if you are crafty and sew there are patterns for clothes and matching clothes for your daughter.

Went to 2 different targets last night here in Columbus, Ohio. Christmas is still at 75% off and only found the dishwasher tabs at one target. They were in the regular section and the price checker scanner listed them at the regular price, so I didn't try to get them for less. Very slim pickings at both stores actually. No good deals at all except for a couple candles that I didn't need but bought anyway. I am going to check out one more tonight to see if there are any bargains to be had there.

They are overpriced, but have great sales. Got some polos there before Christmas for $12. and $9. My dds shop at both. My daughter got a coat at Abercrombie on Christmas Eve that she had been looking at for $99 marked down from $199. She was thrilled. I was too considering it was HER money.

No, you cannot return catalogue purchases to the store. Even if they carried the same items in the store (which they don't typically, especially clothes) they have different tags and numbers. I used to work for the catalogue.

I was able to get a Wii at our Target in Dublin, OH today too at about 12:30. Just by a fluke I went to register on itrackr and there was a ticker saying they were sited in stock 4 mins ago. I flew there and they had at least 20 maybe 30 in stock. My son was thrilled!!

If anyone has ever been to one of these sales, I would love to know how they operate. Do they hand out vouchers, etc? Also I wonder what time I would have to get there to get in on the $199 laptop. My sister is interested. Thanks, Darla

Just got back from CC - I was no 22 they got in 10. The manager came out (5:45) and told us how many they had, which was nice. Lines at all the other stores TRUs, Targets (hubby drove by a few of each) all had at leat 40 people. Target on Sawmill had easily 100 people in line, maybe more. Looks like this will have to be an after Christmas purchase.

Have you tried TJMaxx or Marshalls? They have a ton of fragrances for men and women. I have seen the womens version there for sure. I don't often check the men's though, but you might find it there. Their prices are outstanding, usually close to half of suggested retail. If you prefer online, there are many online perfume shops that carry plainly boxed bottles that are used for in store testers. Once again these are at a fraction of the retail, if you don't mind the plain packaging. If you need specific web sites PM me and I will find out the exact names for you.

As of 8pm tonight there was already a line at our local target (Sawmill Rd, Columbus, Ohio) according to the electronics guy. Starting to wonder if I will be able to get this or not. Hope to get in line around 4am.

I think the hubby and I will be out this weekend. Not sure where to go or what time to increase my chances of getting one. We have all the majors (CC, Walmart, Target, Meijer & TRU). I hope the weather stays nice here in Central Ohio! This is the last big thing I need to get. Already camped out at BB for the computers - this should be easier in comparison.

BBW will usually let you use expired coupons - within reason. I have never been told that I couldn't use them. Although at Christmas I'm sure they are more strict. That combined with "new" people that don't know how they operate. Good deals for your daughter!!!!
