  1. I think we may have a nasty one on our home computer from this as well. Haven't had the chance to have my son do a clean re-install yet. We have never had a virus before!!
  2. If you have a big Lots near you, they usually have the reconditioned sharp for $50. I bought one, so did my sister, no problems with it at all.
  3. I am not impressed either - and that desktop price seems high to me. I think I paid less than that for a desktop system a couple years ago and it's still running fine. Here's hoping Wally World comes through with some more excitement. I won't be standing in BB line this year.

    Price Adjustments

Their responses are mostly canned. Sometimes I don't think they even read the emails completely and just respond with the basics. Very poor customer service. Especially in this economy.
  5. I am wondering about online too. I just don't know what to do about getting a netbook. I was thinking the lines and chances would be better at Sams or OM, but am not a member at Sams so I would have to get a membership which jacks the price up essentually. I wonder if OM online would be possible or a price match somewhere with one of them? This is frustrating and confusing LOL.

    Price Adjustments

They seem to make up the rules as they go and it really depends on who you talk to. I personally have crossed Target off my future shopping list forever. Their lack of customer service and antiquated ways, along with their failure to fully provide their policies at the service desk has done it for me finally. Not to mention the snotty response from management as well as corporate. They pick and chose who to make happy and provide service to. I am done with them and on to other more customer friendly retailers.
  7. Anyone know the details on the Sam's Club Netbook for $199?
  8. My hubbys creative has a built in radio and it's ultra small too. We also have Zune's and Ipods in the house too. I would go with the Creative or Sandisk model WITH a radio. They come in handy!
  9. Probably won't camp out this year - but haven't ruled it out yet. Waiting on some ads to determine. I usually take blankets and cell phone/blackberry, ads (all of them) and wear boots and layers of clothing. We throw the coats and blankets in the car just before the doors open. I don't take my purse either. I clip my wristlet to my jeans belt loop and stick the wristlet part down in my waistband. I don't trust the pickpocketers and it's probably going to be worse this year with the economy. Plus I like the handsfree shopping experience on BF.

    kmart BF Notebook

Everyone go to KMart to get this one - that gives me a better chance of scoring one I want with better specs - LOL
  11. It seems to be all over their advertisements these days too that they will not be undersold. If you look at the scans it's on the front page. They are really going after the consumers this year it seems. Bring it on WALLYS!!!!
  12. Just hoping this is an indication of better things to come from other retailers...I really want a Netbook this year!
  13. Retailers - Come on already - get the ads out!!!!!! I have planning to do.
  14. Here in Ohio we never know what BB will do come Black Friday...one year we didn't even have doorbusters, although they honored a price for me on a camera - so go figure. The lines are always so long - I camped out 2 years ago and it was worth it that year for me. I doubt I would camp out to save a few bucks on a Netbook, but it is on MY list of things to get this year. I just don't want to deal with the lines at BB. Now, if it's online and cheaper - that would be fun!
  15. Amazing deal - got 5 pairs of boots and 4 pairs of shoes for $115.00...would have bought more but the sizes were getting picked over.
  16. Netbook, hard drive camcorder, ugg type boots. Will definitely hit Joann's for fleece - its a tradition, not sure how many blankets one house can have though...
  17. I would be interested to find out if I can get one of these under $200 NOW! I have convinced myself that I want one. Anyone know the details of the one OM is to have on Black Friday??
  18. Columbus, Ohio - specifically, Sawmill Road, Rt. 23, Polaris and Tuttle if theres time and energy :))
  19. I have a Sony ereader - got it for $199 several months ago and I love it. Sony's website offers a few books every month for free- mostly Harlequin romance types. The books on the Sony website are about the price you would pay with a coupon at Borders, etc. Not great but ok. I have not found compatible "free" sites out there - but I bet they do exist if you are more technically savvy and can convert programs.
  20. Please let us know if this works out. I am looking to replace ours soon and am dreading it!
  21. We bought extended service contract and it did cover the bulb on the TV. I was told the bulb costs around $200 - it was all one piece and the guy was in and out in less than 2 minutes.
  22. Check out newegg - my DD bought one the day after Christmas (with gift $) and it was by far the best specs we could find for the money. No tax and shipping was only $15 and was there in 2 business days. Some items come with free shipping.
  23. I can't for the life of me figure out why they don't add this product to their regular line. It sells out every year before the holidays are over. I have a good friend who is a big wig at Pepsi and he doesn't know why they don't add it either. I would buy the 'Free' version all the time. It's addictive.
