She has done it the past few years. She does a show where she gives everyone in the audience gifts, her favorite things thru out the year. Audience never knows whats going on till the opening when she yells out MY FAVORITE THINGS they alway think they are there for a regular show. The audience goes NUTS. They all walk out with thousands and thousands of dollars in gifts

Im glad Im not the only one who finds that a lil strange, Im really thinking they were told not to answer anybodys questions, cause they get real defensive. Just crazy, my hubbys just trying to get an idea of where he should line up first!

This subject is crazy in my area. Both our Walmarts here give us an attitude, WE DONT KNOW WHAT WERE GONNA HAVE TILL IT GETS HERE and they wont get them untill Monday. Okay this may be true but Im thinking why would they take the chance of getting them the day that they go on floors at midnight, what happens if something happens and they dont get there in time. Kmart acts like they dont know what were talking about, I wonder about these people that run the electronics section, but got their flyer today doesnt say anything about the hardware but has all the accesories listed:blahblah: Our Sears is small, they said they arent getting any. It is listed in their flyers but only for the bigger stores. Hastings is selling them at midnight they dont know how many they are getting. Rhino is only getting 3 they dont open till 10am on Tuesday. Ive called some other places, cant think right now, but I ran thru our phonebook LOL Anyways this is just our area, just cant believe how aggrivating this is, told hubby I wasnt calling anybody else. I guess hes gonna line up at Walmart tomorrow night, no luck there fly over to Hastings, no luck there I guess he'll hit the ones that open Tuesday morning. Rumors flying around left and right aint no telling whos got what I think the store people just say whatever they wanna say. I guess well all find out midnight Monday/Tuesday.

This happened to us last year. We were hunting the princess dora magic hair, only thing she had asked for, we searched and searched all day long, well we finally gave up and were in the toy aisle for something else well I just happened to look out of the aisle into the main walk way and there was a cart full of stuff (you could tell it wasnt anybodys by the way things were thrown in it) all the way at the bottom of this buried cart I saw the word HAIR, I flew over to it sure enough there it was. The box was mangled up a bit but we got it!

We watch all the cartoon ones when they come on TV, just wouldnt be the same if we had the DVD/Video.

I get store bought, but I always take a pic of my crew on Thanksgiving (when were all fixed up and looking decent) make how many copies I need and put them in the cards...thats about as pesonalized as I get right now.

Well that sucks! mmmhhhmm im wondering if you call their customer service if they could tell you if you have to pay it up front or month to month?!

Now that I think about it, it may be too much. I mean how many people go wandering thu your house to check out your bedrooms KWIM?!

Wrapping paper for me! I try to assign each child their own wrapping paper but after I get to wrapping sometimes doesnt work out that way. Usually get mine from walmart, they tend to be pretty fair prices. Dollar tree is a fave of mine too.

If you have the finances for it I see no problem. Im not a big decorator, just the livingroom being done up makes me happy. My decorations are 80% stuff the kids have made they are always the best They make the cutest things at school.

Me Me Me Hubby goes whenever we can manage a sitter, but were on the same page for shopping for the kids so not a big deal. We make lists and were in and out of there. I do wish he would shop for his parents and sister I always end up doing it and my head just spins. If I left it to him he would stop at the store on the way to us going to their house on Christmas Eve:banghead:

My experience with it in the past is their price attatches to your phone bill (for dial up anyways) this has been awhile so not sure what they do now. They are a pain in the behind too, few times weve gotten it and we call to get it cancelled they always talk hubby into getting 2 more months free, then u go thru the whole thing over again, 2 more months, only thing is if you forget to call to cancel your extended "free months" youll be charged even tho they con u into it. I get mad at hubby Im like tell them u do not want the 2 free months u want it OFF. If your getting a computer for a good deal i would say its worth it, just put ya foot down when u call to get it off. Ive gone on to rant about AOL lol, to directly answer......its on ya phone bill from month to month. (from my experience)

Last year was my first experience with BF. When I pulled into Walmart their were cops EVERYWHERE, outside, inside, all in the aisles. Year before it was in the news that their was a huge brawl inside the store. So I guess they got prepared last year. At Walmart you have to line up at the pallets, dont understand why u just dont get in line and single file get your turn, dont understand all the hostility, yes we all want to save money but its not that serious, I think Id rather wait my turn patiently and spend my money oppose to spending my money bailing myself outta jail. Ive never seen anything personally just heard over news.

Heres a lil art idea my kids have made in school before and now we make one at home every year. Need a picture can be anything Christmas like, then make a chain link out of construction paper, make chain the legnth of how many days untill Christmas, every night the kids pull a link off the chain, the last link should come off on Christmas Eve, lets them know Santas coming (like they dont know already) Just something cute for the younger ones, since they dont understand calanders too well yet and they keep asking HOW MANY MORE DAYS.

Oh I know Ive been seeing the commercials for it all this past week. I always cry on her fave things show I dunno why I guess seeing all those people so happy. Never in a million years would I have the luck of being there for one of these shows. I think these people get special invitations anyways, like last year it was all teachers I believe. I dont think anything will ever top the U GET A CAR U GET A CAR lol one where she gave everyone the new cars, even tho it turned into a big tax mess after the fact. I watch her everyday, one of my everyday scheduled TIVO recordings.

I hope my hubby comes home with one. Him and his buddys have been planning this out for months, theres a few of em going to sit at Walmart early Monday to see whats going on. UGH I really dread having to deal with him if he doesnt get one He lives for Xbox and all he ever asks for. Hes buying the more costly one and has been saving like crazy, all hes been talking about past few weeks Im like come on get here so I dont have to hear it anymore LOL:curse: Hes worse than a kid.

Im sure your talking about the ones they are advertising BUT....... Not me The one I need our Walmart never has it, Im ordering online from walmart.com cant get to other stores to see if they have it. I refuse to travel out of town to find one thing LOL I dont think its one of the ones on sale either but I dont know, the one I need is the Ramps Around Garage.

I just texted my SIL who is a manager at one in Nashville TN, she said yes they are having sales, she said she honestly didnt know what, and said they were opening at 7am, might be different in different regions.

My SIL works at one. Ill call her in the morning and ask, even tho I wont be able to get anything in print I can find out if they are even having one. Unless anybody beats me to it

Well my first Christmas (1996) I was away from home we (the idiot I was with at the time) didnt have money for a tree so I made a fireplace on the wall out of construction paper. Later in the month found out I was Preggie with my 1st daughter. The next year my Daughters 1st Xmas (1997) we gotten into a HUGE fight and I took off to my parents house after Thanksgiving Tennessee to Maryland and stayed till after Christmas (hence my daughter didnt spend her 1st Christmas with her father) When I came back after Christmas found out he was seeing someone else and she had been staying at my apartment the whole time with him calling everyday telling me how much he loved/missed me. Hes still an idiot, other than giving me my Baby Girl. Thank goodness I finally got my head right got away from him, still have to deal with him tho Those were 2 rough holiday seasons.

Well its semi bill money LOL nothing that HAS to be payed this week, but WILL NEED to be paid later (we all know how that goes) so CANNOT buy anything other than what Im going after which is fine because Im pretty much done, then I will have my saved money for later when I pick up odds n ends or go ahead get my last layaway out Now to think about what time to get my booty moving wee hours of friday morning:D
