LOL u have to know our family we go over at 2pm or so and nobody leaves until 11pm or so, we love being around each other, we dance, play guesstures and everything, so anything to keep us there longer NOT A PROBLEM I like we get home late too cause kids go right to bed and they are nice and wore out, me n hubby can relax for a bit make sure everyone is sound asleep, then catch us a nap.

My husband will get his anniversary check when he goes back from Thanksgiving break (this is pretty much his alloted check for vacation days next year they get paid in advance) Then he recieves a weeks pay bonus a week or 2 b4 Christmas. Also his company has a holiday party HUGE EVENT, and kids get to get pics taken with Santa and go into a toy tent and pick whatever they want, they do it at all holidays ITS GREAT, maybe the last one tho since his companys owner is retiring and someone else is buying out the whole company at 1st of the year

This sounds like what we do, we call it Dirty Santa. We draw names at first and then whoever can take whoevers gift, it can go on until we all go home. We do it at our family gathering/dinner on Xmas Eve. We have way to many members in our family to buy for so we found this works much better and all the gifts we buy are suppose to be $5-$10. This is just the adults, the children of the family get gifts from whomever brings them for them.

I have in the past kept the number equal, hard to do by price because of certain things they ask for. This year my older ones are getting mostly electronic stuff, so really havent focused on how much spent on each, just evening it out so they have equal presents to open. We have 6 so instead of em all thrashing for stuff under the tree and my 3 months of shopping as turned into 5 minutes of opening gifts we put names in a bowl and I draw and tell whomever I drew to go find a gift with their name on it (I keep the name out until we get thru everyone) makes it slow down and we can enjoy seeing each of their faces one by one

We have a silly one that I started when my 1st daughter was born 8 years ago. When we get back from our family dinner at Great Grandmas house on Xmas late in the night I always get them Pajamas n slippers that they get to open then to get ready for bed for Santa--They love it, takes the edge off of CAN WE OPEN SOMETHING NOW

I have set of 2 year boy/girl twins, my daughter likes Dora, my son likes Diego. My 5 y/o step daughter LOVES Dora too, she has everything...so were no shortage of Dora round here. Diego is fairly new they are possibly still waiting to see how well their spin off does, before long Diego will be sitting everywhere. Good Luck :)

OK just talked to hubby (by the way he glanced at my post and thinks this is all hilarious-LOL) Looks like I will have a bit of money on Friday so I think I will just go see what I can get. My twins LOVE Barney and he is hard to find. Their Bday was in August I got lucky and came across 2 Barney phones, a plush Barney that sings I love you, and a Baby Bop that sings Little Red Wagon (hard to find unless u go to Ebay) Anyways getting way off the subject. Ebay has tons of DVD/Video collections, also Walmart.com if u go to DVD section do a search for Barney they have TONS of em also. They are slowly moving them all to DVDs but still a few out there that are just on video. Good Luck!

Hi all Kelly here. Ive been reading for a few weeks but finally posting. Ive already done 90% of my shopping ALOT of the stuff I got are on sale Friday morning. I got 3 game boys, 1 leapster 2 games for that, Cabbage Patch Baby. After what I paid and what its gonna be on Friday well over $100 Id be saving. My head is spinning because I dont know if I should take the stuff back now and take my chances Friday or what. This is all Walmart only close store we have. I asked the lady at customer service if they would honor prices if I came in that morning with all my receipts, she said only if its within 7 days of purchase. I was like OK, I kinda know the girl and I said yanno the game boys are gonna be 49 bucks dont ya, (very nasty, looking at the other girl) OH WE DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. I was like We dont know what were gonna get for that sale till it gets here, I was like YEAH OK LADY! So I could take stuff back, take my chances?! Hubby says just leave it alone cause I got all the colors n what not I was looking for. What I wish is that I had EXTRA money that I could go and see if I can get any of the stuff and then just take back what I already bought later, but doesnt look like thats happening. Weve got 6 kids and Im just all built up on how much money I would save for these expensive (well expensive for us) name brand products. Does WalMart online have same prices, do they do a sale online that morning? Ive skimmed thru a couple posts but not getting a good answer or maybe I havent found the right posts. My first day after sale was last year and I just went for kicks because was nothing I needed last year, BUT this year and finding this web site Ive been going nuts trying to figure this all out.
