Regarding the question asked by the OP, the deadline for the newspaper to be delivered in my area (Virginia) is the same as Sunday for a holiday, 7am.

This Thursday is the biggest paper of the year in my area (Tidewater VA)..I just quit working for the paper and what a relief! I will be going out on Thursday morning for a paper.....there will be some grocery stores and regular stores in my area open until maybe 3-6pm, but like stated earlier, 7/11 is always open.
