Start checking ebay... I got Nintendogs for only $12 plus $2 shipping. 29.99 in stores... Closer to christmas is when the bidding wars will really start IMO. Im getting new games for under $15.
-
Well my son got more games for his Xbox 360... Wow is some of those games gruesome. Gears of War actually turned my stomach (showed a tad too much blood and gore). Of course my husband loved it. Maybe Im a light weight, but I had to leave the room. lol

Home Depot does NOT accept gift cards on-line!

Never heard of that. Good to know. That is ridiculous when you think about it though. -
Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008

My husband and I bought the amana grill and we love it! IT IS HUGE. Don't let the box fool ya. So much cooking space and love the convenience of the drawers and extra storage. We bought ours at the $168 price. Well worth it -
I know my kids always enjoy Giftcards so they can pick out what they want. Thats what all the relatives get them. Safer and honestly, they like shopping for themselves
-
On another note, gamestop had their starter packs for Ds systems for only 14.99. I got my son the red/black one and my daughter the pink/black one (comes with charger, case, game covers, and ear phones).

I'm pretty much done with shopping so will still go out, but not too antsy as all my shopping on BF now will be impulse buying. haha

I was wondering too, but decided to buy now. I bought my daughter a pink one (I had $100 in walmart Giftcards so only got it for $25 plus tax after price matching Targets sale 2 weeks ago) My son wanted the red one. I bought that around the same time. Been finding great games on their list from weekly sales (circuit city has had some great sales- games regularly 29.99 for only 9.99 and Target sale of 14.99 last week). So that part of my kids' christmas is done.

does anybody buy their pool chemicles online?
elena_398 replied to my2kidsmom's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Check out Target in store right now. all their pool items are 50% and more... We have a 30' pool and use the 3" chlorine tabs. For the huge bucket it can run up towards $80++. Target had the large buckets of 3" chlorine tabs on clearance for $39... I bought both containers they had. also had the test kits for 1.48, new skimmers for $2.48 (also the strips if you prefer), and other vacuum stuff for the pool. Really cleaned up and now I won't have to buy anything for next summer (had shock, PH + or - , etc) -
Im a stay at home mom and my husband's work closes on Thanksgiving and the day after (BF). So no worries on babysitters.

Shopping for yourself or others on Black Friday?
elena_398 replied to robertmorr1999's topic in 2008
I got out for the kids and my husband and of course my self. Usually impulse buy. lol. This year I have to behave as I am pretty much done with everyone. So if I do go out (duh) I have to watch my impulse spending. Thats how every year my kids' christmas is ridiculous. Presents from the tree to the couch. Haha. This year though my kids want electronics, clothes, etc. I have a 14 yr old and 8 yr old. None want any toys so that is making christmas harder on ideas. My 14 yr old just wants xbox 360 games, Ds system and games, flip camcorder, money, giftcards, shoes. Scary, but I got all the mentioned minus the money as my parents give him that every year. My daughter is where I get in trouble because she is so easy to buy for. Typical girly girl. Wants makeup, jewelry, clothes, purses, webkinz, Ds system and games, and a MP3 player. I got all mentioned plus some. So as you can see, I really don't have to go out. lol -
Goodwill 50% off Sale -- Monday, Sept. 1st
elena_398 replied to Penelope's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I stopped going there. Their prices are ridiculous. They seem to forget their store is based on donated clothing items... $12 for a pair of used jeans is ridiculous. I don't care what brand. $4-$6 for shirts. -
I hope to win one... I bought one last year and I love it. So comfy. I wear it to Target all the time. Hence why I've met several ladies from different boards. LOL. They are regulars on other boards but occassionally come here so they recognized Gottadeal on my shirt right away. Have traded great coupons with them in the store on several occassions. Haha

My son since he was 12 or so wanted giftcards and/or money... He has a cell phone now so he wants a phone card. For girls that age, you can't go wrong with perfume, clothes, purses, accessories for the Webkinz, jewelry, etc... This year I have an 8 year old who knows the truth about santa, and its worse... She doesn't play with toys. She wants electronics. LOL... Her list is just as expensive as my soon to be 14 yr olds.

I bought my son his X-Box 360 yesterday. He paid half for it and I chipped in the rest. Circuit city also included a free wireless controller in your choice of color ($50 value). He played with it last night and LOVES IT. He went to Gamestop and traded in some PSP games and PS2 games. So he got 6 xbox 360 games. My husband couldn't believe the graphics on Halo 3
