Mine closes then reopens at 9pm I believe (its a 24 hour one)

Our Walmarts around me are 24 hour ones. Its ridiculous because the tvs they had last year were out by dinner time (they reopened at 9pm at mine on Thanksgiving). Well people were in line by 4pm for the tvs. When they reopened, they already had the big screen tvs out. People stood next to them and claimed them before the 6am start. Now I didn't want one, but a lot of people were complaining

I am 100% done, but still looking forward to the ads

TRU has TONS of science items. A whole section. My son went through that phase and there was such variety out there. Everything from experiment items, to dissecting, to microscopes. Go to Toys r Us.

My son only asked for the 360 FOREVER. I gave him $100 towards it and he bought the rest with his own money. Now for christmas he asked for games, but he has roughly 8 games already that he bought too with allowance and trading in PS2 games as well as his SP games. -
sanitizer sounds like a great idea. I bought a bunch of purell on clearance at Target (free pretty much with my coupons). I may thrown one or two of them in the gift too

Kids can get up as early as they want, but cannot leave their rooms until my husband and I are ready (we go downstairs... get the tree lights on, start coffee, and get video camera ready). While kids are waiting, their stockings are in their rooms. I love to hear the giggles as they unwrap the gifts inside. I usually get up when I hear them and go through their stockings with them. (both my kids are older so they know the "little secret" Once we are ready, the herd (haha) comes the down the stairs. Im usually video taping at this point. My husband then takes over the video camera. He sits in his throne (recliner in the corner) by the sectional.. and I pass out gifts. Each child then shows what he/she got. I have a trash bag and gather all the trash. They have their own piles to put gifts so its not such a mess. (did I mention Im a neat freak and all the paper/bows/etc drives me nuts? lol

I actually asked the "girls" on the bus stop this morning (the moms of the kids on the stop) and they couldn't believe people actually bought gifts for bus drivers.

My daughter's bus driver loves her coffee. Is never without her mug. Thats why I stick with that gift I posted earlier. ' Now my one neighbor gets her a new hat and glove set every year. She always says she hates the winter season as she is freezing. So she at least knows she will get her coffee/mug, etc and her new gloves/hat. lol No one else on the bus stop gets her anything. There is 7 kids on the bus stop. I don't really think parents remember the drivers. IMO

Yesterday I found a industrial grade Deli slicer (looks just like the deli lunchmeat slicer you see in grocery stores) for only $17.48 down from over $100!!! My husband was thrilled. We can slice ham, turkey, etc. LOVE IT. -
Thanks for the heads up

I always do the mug set. I wrap that for her, but then go to the store early the last day before christmas break and have a large coffee ready for her. My daughter has the same bus driver every year and I know she looks forward to it. LOL.
