  1. I got a really good deal from target on Leapster Explorer couple of weeks ago with coupons I found. I'm just amazed at how the prices keep going up. I have been looking at the explorer for a couple of months before I bought it but never saw it at $79.99 until recently. A few things on my granddaughters wish list that I'm considering for their birthdays have gone up $10 or so and they aren't any hot popular toys! Just feel bad for ones that were maybe waiting on a Christmas bonus or something to go shopping and now some prices are so much higher!! Guess that's the "comercialized" side of Christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
  2. The prices on toys are going up the closer it gets to Christmas. Don't know about in the store but the online price on some items are going up like crazy. I've been looking at some of my grandkids wish list and prices are not the same when I first printed them out. The Leapster Explorer is now $79.99. It went up $10 in 2 weeks time. The games for it have gone up $2. I've noticed some other things that have gone up $5-$10! It seems like a big rip-off!!
  3. I got a Leapster Explorer @ Target for $32.87!!! Target price $59.99 Target Coupon - $10.00 Recylcebank.com coupon - $10.00 Cheerios coupon - $10.00 Price $29.99 Cost of cereal 2.88 Total cost $32.87 I didn't know if Target would let me use all the coupons but figured I would try it, cashier scanned them without blinking!
  4. was #100 in line @ 7:45 (in the rain!!) manager came down line handing out tickets for netbooks, ipods, etc. counted groups of 50, let first group in at 10pm, 3 mins later next group, every 3 mins let 50 in until they reached 300 then waited 15 mins before 50 more entered. I was only interested in toys for ages 4 and under and manage to get what was on my list, saved $160 so it was worth it!!
  5. Where are the coupons? I have a leapfrog account but can't find the coupons! Thanks!!
  6. I got my book today! Going to sit down tonight with the little one and see what he doesn't want out of it!!:)
  7. Where did you see a $149 laptop? Cheapest I saw on Walmart ad was $199 Did I miss something?
  8. yes Target has been doing this for awhile but I have never seen a "deal" Think they had some brand of jeans for $74.99 one time??? deal or no deal????
  9. I took my son when he was 6 months old, he was dressed for it, had his stroller, no problems! Took 11 month old yr before last again no problems. How would everyone that's against taking kids feel if they were told you shouldn't go shopping if you are under 5 ft tall or only weigh xxx amount of lbs or some other restriction? Kids are killed at school by other kids, no one tells parents you shouldn't send your kids to school. Customer was shot and killed in parking lot few years back (in front of his son) for a pair of shoes it wasn't black friday it was a Sunday afternoon. There are crazies in the world everyday and people get hurt, killed and abused everyday, the media makes black friday seem worse because that's what they use for viewers and ratings! If I don't know someone's situation I try not to judge them. BF shopping may mean the difference in whether their kids have a Christmas present or not. As for other deals before and after BF if thats the case why doesn't everyone just stay home and shop online or wait for the deals and then there would be no crowds or crazies out BF. To each his own!!
  10. I got them for $8.99 each using the $10 TQ and the $10 Leapfrog Q. Printed 3 of each coupon got 3 Tag Jr.s for $27.80 including tax!!
  11. I used both the Target Q and the Leapfrog Q yesterday and I used them on Leapfrog Tag Jr. I printed 3 of each Q (used the $10 Leapfrog Q) and got 3 Tag Jr.s for $8.99 each. No problems what so ever!
  12. Wonder if the Tag books will be cheaper than $4.99? (TRU $7.99 - $3.00 Q = $4.99) I've got to by for 3 different grandkids does Target set a limit on PM items?
  13. I love this site! Found the link for the Leapfrog Tag Coupons and the Target Tag coupons, printed 3 each and went to Target this afternoon I got 3 Tag Jr for $8.99 each! Target Price for Tag Junior $28.99 Leapfrog coupon -$10.00 Target coupon U] - $10.00[/u] Final Price: $8.99 each plus tax That's 3 for less than the price of one! Hopefully someone / somewhere will run a great deal on the books soon! Thanks for sharing!!!
  14. Haven't been to walmart BF in a couple of years. Got there @ 2:45 this morning and there were quite a rew people alot of BF items were already out and people had already opened them and loaded in their buggys so I got things I want and watched as they set out new items! I alos priced matched several items. My problem was the Playstation3 games they wouldn't get the ones I wanted to pm until 5:00 am however they did let you take them to the front to pay. They only had one of the Brother's In Arms that TRU had for $17.99 so I grabbed it, CMS wasn't to happy about that one since it was $59.97 there. Got 3 items price matched from Target and 1 from Kmart. Got myself several of the $8 track suit & 3 pair of jeans plus 3 track suits for the little one. Had about a 30 -45 min wait to check out. Will probably go back later just to see what's left and look around without being elbow to elbow! Went to Kohls it was worse than Walmart, walked around then left!
  15. Might want to check the prices on items now, I went to 2 local walmart 's tonight and they already have some of the items out @ BF prices. Saw the My Size Barbie for $35, I got 2 of the Thomas the Train @ Tidmond Sheds for BF $15 each, the sign over them said $25 but I scanned and rang up BF price, they had the Hannah Montana bean bags for $20, the 3 pc duffel bag set @ $19 couldn't remember what all the ad items were but these were the ones I remembered!

  17. thanks, that what I thought. Guess I will wait until after church tomorrow and take my chances.
  18. Kmart is having some items Buy one Get one Free going on sale Sunday, will Walmart price match these? I haven't price matched @ Walmart in years so just wondering. It would save me time and since ours is open 24 hrs I could go EARLY Sunday morning before church. Kmart is about 20 mins away and Walmart 5 mins
  19. I SO did not want to go to Walmart early but looks like I'm gonna have to go fight the crowd! Niece got a $1.50 hr paycut and her DH got laid off last week, they have 3 boys (5 & under) so since I won $1000 on radio contest I plan on sneaking and helping Santa @ their house with at least $150-200. Looks like I can get the best deals on some toys @ good ole wallyworld! Wonder how bad it's going to be? Just from the list I'm planning on Hot Wheels Mega City Playset ($20) Hot Wheels 10 pc vehicles ($ 5) 2 Radio Controlled Yamaha ATV ($20) Mega Bloks 100 pc ($10) FP Rock & PLay Piano ($10) $65 + tax not bad and still can get clothes and couple of other small toys. I really don't want to jab elbows with others but what can I say I love my family!
  20. I really didn't want to go to Walmart early on BF but looks like I may have to go fight the crowd. They have got some great toys for my neice's kids thinking along the line of getting the 2 older ones a radio controlled ATV each ($10 each), Hot Wheels Mega City Playset & a 10 pk of vehicles to share ($25 total) a set of Mega Bloks 100 pc to share ($10) Fisher Price Rock & Play Piano for the little on ($10) That's $65 + tax still be able to get them some clothes. Looks like I may be able to get them quite a bit with the $150- $200 I planned to spend on them. YEA!
  21. Thank you all. Midwestmama I'm sorry for your loss also. It's rough without mamas! It's been a rough 21 months for us. In Feb of 2007 mom had 2 sisters (my aunts) that passed away within 8 days of each other, my brother (her only son) passed away in May, another sister (my aunt) in Sept, her nephew in March 2008 and mom in July. It helps knowing that mom was ready to go she was tired physically and emotionally. She always loved our family get togethers so we will continue on with them. Talked to my neice today and got ideas & sizes for the boys still haven't told her what I'm planning think I may just buy and then take and leave it where I know she'll find it! If anyone sees any good deals on toys or kids clothes please let me know! Dmmiller I have to say I have a wonderful and understanding son. He has never complained with what he has gotten (or not) and always tells me I need to take "me" time especially since mom is gone. He's even planning on wrapping gifts when he comes home for Thanksgiving next week!
  22. Thanks for the ideas. Niece called she is getting a paycut and her husband got laid off. They have 3 small kids (5 & under) her mom (my sister) passed away in 2004 and she has no one else so told DH I'm going to use some of my winnings to help Santa at their house. Haven't told her yet! A cruise would be great DH & I talked about that for our anniversary in March after income tax refund so i may just save whats left until then
  23. Went to 2 local Target stores tonight looking for the all-in-one printer they had on sale this week. Decided to look around for 2 day sale items only found a couple of items and not a lot stacked so guess they are waiting until the actual sale. I did get the Doodle Pro Little People it was $13.99 tonight but has a Little People DVD included with it. Decided I would pay the additional 3.99 so I won't have to fight the crowd and don't know if the one on sale will have the DVD included. Also got a pr of the $9.99 womens pj's. 2 more gifts down!
  24. I have been shopping along the way, so I'm almost done especially with the little ones. I did this cause my mom passed away in July and was afraid the closer it got to the holidays the less I would feel like shopping. A few weeks ago I won $1000 from a local radio station, when I picked it up this weekend it is on a Visa card instead of a check they usually give. (I usually win @ least once a year from them)! It expires in April so I'm trying to decide if there are any good deals or if there will be better deals afterwards. My son is in college, when I called him Sat and ask if there was anything special he wanted for Christmas he said "Mom, I think you need to spend on you first". Only trouble is can't think of anything "I" really need or want. So anyone know of any super duper deals that I might really need or want and just don't know it yet?
