1. FYI for those that ordered this.. it is for older babies and toddlers. Not an infant formula. My daughter who is 4mos. drinks the Enfamil Premium Lipil.
2. I am waiting for 2 pr of jeans I ordered from PacSun for my DD. Not hopeful they will get here in time even though I chose a shipping method guaranteeing their arrival before 12/24:mad: I ordered the Godfather 3 DVD set on BluRay from Amazon today with guaranteed arrival by 12/24. Never had a problem with Amazon, so I'm not worried. Kim Las Vegas, NV
3. If you're in the western US, Big 5 Sporting Goods carries them. They don't have a website you can shop from only b&m store.
4. Called my local Old Navy and the manager said to call back tomorrow when they will have the skus for the sale. She said they do carry a few "fashion denim" in maternity but she couldn't confirm what was on sale til tomorrow. My Old Navy also opens at 8am on Saturday. Kim Las Vegas, NV
5. since you live in Colorado Springs, you should also try Big 5 Sporting Goods.
6. Any word if maternity jeans will be on sale? Old Navy is not usually in my rounds for weekend errands, but I will make it so if I can get them for $12/pr. Any help is greatly appreciated! Kim Las Vegas, NV
7. My DD is turning 12 next month and really wants something, anything from Juicy Couture. Any discounts/deals out there? size 6 or 6.5 in ladies shoes tops xs in juniors? Thanks! Kim Las Vegas, NV
8. Anyone else have any knowledge on the PSP and memory sticks? I'm totally lost....
9. My DS 7 has a PSP that he got for his bday. Now he is saying he needs memory for it so he can save his progress on games. Would something like this work or do I have to get the memory cards specifically for PSP? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2487122 He has a TRU gc so if we could use that it would be nice. Just don't know much about these handheld systems and the memory cards seem to start at about $30 so if anyone knows of a cheaper one out there I'm all ears. Thanks, Kim
10. I checked Costco, unfortunately they don't carry the size tires I needed. Costco was my first choice. We don't have a Sams Club membership so I couldn't go there. Thanks.
11. Went to Discount Tire and bought 2 new tires. They were installed and we were out the door in 40 minutes! Spent $350 for 2 new tires. Did not buy extended warranty/road hazard stuff...I've learned my lesson on that. Sears lost my family as customers this week. I can buy tools and appliances at Home Depot and Lowes. I can get my car serviced at Jiffy Lube. I can buy tires at Discount Tire.
12. Thanks for all your posts. You have all been very clear about tire warranties being pro-rated but I still feel mistreated. Customer service has gone down hill in my opinion so that's all the more reason to shop online even though my husband's career is in retail. The guy had a chance to make a sale (since I would have had to buy 2 tires and only one is "defective") and lost it by not being able to explain things to someone who doesn't know about tires or how to interpret their warranties. I won't take my car there anymore and neither will my husband or friends I've talked to. Have an appointment today at Discount Tire where a friend of a friend works and hopefully he can explain what is covered and what isn't to someone not familiar with car stuff.
13. I can understand where you guys are coming from with the "all tire warranties are pro-rated" but that's assuming customers know that. I didn't. When they took my credit card and charged me originally and I paid for the warranty, I took the warranty to mean if this thing breaks before the warranty expires they will fix it or replace it. Sears or any store for that matter can't assume people know this. It should be explained to the customer or posted somewhere. It's also a shame that I had to spend 2 hours there and basically be talked down to and end up being offered 30 bucks. If he were good at his job he could have been nicer and explained things and ended up making a sale, knowing that I have to buy at least one tire from somewhere in the next few days. Instead he argued with me and acused me of driving off road or whatever and assumed I should know and understand a warranty policy that wasn't outlined clearly. Bottom line is I need at least one new tire, if not two and I won't buy them from Sears. I also won't continue to have my oil changes done there, nor will my husband send his fleet vehicles there for any services. Just thought I would post this and spread the word. I went to planetfeedback.com and they have more than 8 pages of complaints about Sears in general including some about tires and auto services. Guess I'm not alone in how I feel.
14. I think I was most irritated by how I was treated. Even the higher-up managers said that the paperwork on the warranty should be more clear. All it says is 50k mile warranty. The CSR said they don't know where I've driven, how I drive, etc. That's when I pointed out I bought 2 tires and only 1 is bad. I realize sometimes you do have to replace 2 tires at a time and honestly if he was willing to comp one and made me pay for the other that would have been fair but he was acting like the cost of the tire was going to be deducted from his paycheck. I spent $120 per tire when I bought them. I have a 2001 Ford Expedition and apparently the size tire I need isn't cheap or easy to come by (all the places I've called have to order them). Sears no longer carries the tires they sold me because they had problems with them...the guy actually said that. All of this left a bad taste in my mouth and I told my husband I will be sure to tell everyone I know of my bad experience at Sears. BTW - I hate spending money on car things!
15. If the warranty says 50k miles and I only drove 38k miles and only one of the 2 tires purchased went bad then to me that says defect and satify your customer by replacing the tire. My husband has 10 sporting goods stores here in Southern Nevada and he couldn't believe Sears wouldn't try to do more. He said that's exactly why they will be out of business next. A tire that costs $100 retail, costs them maybe $50 at cost. I think $50 is a small price to pay to keep a customer.
16. Just wanted to let you know what happened to me yesterday since word of mouth is the most powerful way to help or hurt a business. Picked up kids from school (last day was half day) so we hit the Carl Jr. drive-through. As I'm placing my order I can hear the sound of air blowing or escaping from something. Originally I thought it was coming from a fan from the rear of the restaurant but as I pulled all the way around I could still hear it. I pulled into a parking slot to inspect my truck. I saw nothing out of the oridinary so I chalked it up to hearing things. I switched cars with my husband so he could use my truck to haul some stuff for work. He calls me a little while later and reports I have a flat tire. Ugh..didn't need that. Roadside assistance comes and changes it. I told my husband I bought those tires a few summers ago from Sears and the receipt is in the glove box so we'll just go by there and either they'll fix it or replace it based on the extended warranty I purchased. We go there and long story short (after spending 2 hours arguing with a someone who should not be in customer service) even though the tires are warrantied for 50k miles and I only drove 38k on them they could only offer me $30 towards the purchase of 2 new tires. The warranty is pro-rated (apparently) based on the amount of tread left. I spent more than $30 in the time I took off work to stand there and argue with this guy. I told him he lost my business, my husband's fleet business and anyone I could convince to take their business elsewhere. I won't even go there for an oil change after the way we were treated there. Just my experience - take it for what it's worth. I'll be spending my hundreds of dollars for new tires somewhere else. Kim Las Vegas, NV
17. To give you an update - VS offered me a $25 gc for my "trouble". Whatever to that...we wanted the boots. Ordered a pair of boots from Zappos.com that looked nothing like them just to have something for my daughter. Got those in about 36 hours from ordering time...nice! Saturday morning I got an email from VS about my shipment confirmation? Checked and it was the boots they said didn't exist anymore being shipped Next Day Air via UPS which they also said was impossible. Delivery was estimated for Xmas Eve (Monday). My boss was working that day so I asked him to sign for them and call me when they arrived. He waited til 1pm and no sign of UPS. I called and UPS driver skipped our office and put in to the computer - Closed for the holiday! OMG...was I mad at UPS! I spent all day on the phone with them and finally after much arguing and debate UPS came back out and delivered the boots to me at 7pm Xmas Eve. We gave our daughter both pairs of boots. She said the ones we picked out were "God Awful!" but screamed hysterically when she opened her coveted VS boots which made it all worthwhile. I know my daughter is not 6 years old and she didn't ask for the Butterscotch Pony but to her these boots were that pony to a 6 year old. So in my opinion her Xmas would have been ruined if she hadn't gotten the boots but we got them so all is well. I still won't order from VS online again. I'll stick to the stores where I can come home with my purchase that day instead of relying on a company who's warehouse must be utter chaos and a shipping company who was too lazy to stop at a designated stop.

19. They are made by Collin Stuart (a VS exclusive brand as I understand it). We are searching everywhere, but honestly at this late in the game I VERY hesitant to order online again. I called Saks Fifth Ave (per previous post) and they don't have those boots in stock. Still searching high and low locally and hoping for a Christmas Miracle. Thanks, Kim
20. 800-888-1500 hit 3 type in phone# with area code and press # Hold time has been 5+ minutes each time I've called.
21. . Ordered from Victorias Secret for my 11yo daughter for Xmas before they screwed me and told me they oversold and I won't be getting them. (11 days after placing my order!) These were the #1 thing on her list so any help in finding a pair before Christmas (Santa works miracles...or so I'm told) is greatly appreciated. She'd like a tan pair in a size 5. Thanks!
22. Thanks for trying chrimstmasangel. Not quite what she's looking for. If I am successful...the picture of them is attached. Let me know if anyone has seen these somewhere that I can get them to Las Vegas by 12/24. Thanks!
23. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!! - UPDATE FROM MY PREVIOUS POST TO THIS THREAD My daughter's Christmas is ruined because of them. Ordered 12/9/07 a pair of pom-pom boots for my daughter as her #1 thing she wants the most for Christmas. 12/14/07 package ships. 12/17/07 email received stating they rec'd my exchange....what exchange?!? Said boots weren't included in my other items but would be coming by guaranteed 12/24/07. Spoke to Bob and Angela at CS. 12/19/07 rec'd package - no boots. 12/19/07 spoke to Diana who stated she was POSITIVE boots shipped 2dair air, they just couldn't find the tracking number. BS! 12/20/07 spoke to Megan who said so sorry those boots are totally out of stock and she'll issue me a refund. WHAT?!? Asked for supervisor. Spoke to Thelma who said the boots are totally gone, can't get them. So sorry..blah, blah, blah. I am so angry! How on earth will I find boots like those in the desert and 5 days before Christmas. I will NEVER order from them again! I advise against ordering anything from them. Their CS is terrible and they don't know their head from their a**. The only reason I knew anything is because I called them, they never contacted me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
